Perfect spot for a quiet vacation

Great property with a nice sized pool. The Western side of the island is very relaxed however there are still plenty of things to do. We will be back!

Wonderful vacation

The house had something for everyone with the private pool and ocean steps away. We didn’t venture out much- enjoyed snorkeling- weather was perfect. House was sooo nice! Hosts responded very quickly to questions. Highly recommend!

We just returned from this property and I absolutely cannot say enough good things about it!! I kinda want to gatekeep because this property was a absolute hidden gem!!! Before we left we got a link I could add to my Home Screen that was extremely helpful on restaurants, grocery stores, and much more. This was so helpful. The view was spectacular. House was decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. The neighbors and Nancy were very nice. We spoke to them. The stopped by just to give us information and what to expect during the storms coming through with the hurricane passing by. That put a few of our travelers at ease. We had a few questions and texted the property manager. They responded immediately. And we’re very helpful!! Oh and I can’t forget about Sophia! She was amazing. She’s the cat who stays at the property. She’s VERY sweet and we all loved feeding her. We joked about having to get back so the “owner” could get her dinner. We had 6 adults in our group and everyone loved her, and miss her since we left. We even left her a bag of food and treats when we left as a parting gift. I have travelled a lot and stayed many places and this house hands down is the best place I’ve stayed. We will absolutely return here. It was amazing, even with the storm. The garden out front was so cute. The space outside was amazing. The with the pool and all the seating available is awesome. And we had so much nature in our backyard. Can’t wait to return!!!!!!!

Happiness is a day at the beach

There is nothing like being right on the water, listening to the waves day and night. The Salty Pier Beach House is the perfect getaway and has everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. We filled our time with snorkeling, sunbathing, reading, listening to music, eating great food and relaxing and watching the sun set right into the water. There is plenty to do and see on St Croix whether you want to tour the island, go out on a boat, see the rainforest, shop for island trinkets, go out to eat, or just stay home, the Salty Pier Beach House will be the perfect fit. This was our second time staying at the house and once again it did not disappoint. We love the location and find the home very comfortable with all the amenities you could need.

"Unforgettable Comfort, Abundant Amenities, and Scenic Splendor with the best sunsets you'll ever see

I've been coming to St. Croix since 2017, and as a devoted sunset-loving West Side enthusiast, the Salty Pier Beach House was the perfect haven for our tropical getaways; it had everything we needed to feel right at home, from the convenient Keurig coffee maker with an abundance of coffee pods (though I brought some from home) to the ideal setup for my cherished BBQ sessions accompanied by a rum punch and the mesmerizing sunset on the horizon, all while grooving to 90s dancehall reggae on the house's JBL speaker—I was truly in paradise! The unparalleled combination of the pool and the Caribbean sea left us breathless, and even though we didn't use the house paddle boards, my wife and I surprisingly discovered our adventurous side. We kayaked several times, which was not only a lot of fun but also a great workout. I could talk endlessly about how amazing this place is, but let's keep it concise; I've already booked a return trip with my family in December because we can't wait to share this incredible experience with them!

Best rental house ever!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! Right on the water, private, ocean views from almost every room. The guide book provided by the owners included everything we might need to know - features with the house, renting a car, shopping, activities, etc. If we had a a question we received an immediate response. We much preferred this location over the more touristy side of the island. The cat that came with the house was a fun treat! This house has it all!

Perfection

Beautiful home right on the beach with a private pool and sunset views. Everything we could have wanted for our holiday vacation. Large, well-appointed kitchen was easy to make family dinners on the nights we didn’t go out to excellent restaurants in Christiansted and Frederiksted. We would definitely love to return in the future.

The Salty Pier Beach House

Great communication from hosts before our arrival on the island and super easy check in. Great communication with Nick throughout stay. House was perfect! It was clean and so comfortable. The pool was the perfect addition to our vacation and the beach in front of the house was pretty fantastic. This was was our fourth time in St. Croix but the first time that we didn’t want to leave the house! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing time in St. Croix!

We had the best stay! Pool, beach, nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and welcoming! Everything you could possibly need at the house. The view and the ocean were mesmerizing! The Owners were very helpful and so accommodating! We were visiting in the “off season” so there was never a wait and nothing was over crowded. Driving on the left side is not too bad once you get going. We will definitely stay again if we can find an open time in their rental schedule!

Awesome Salty Pier

The house is just about perfect! So comfortable and clean! Really great setup, the master and master bath were awesome, looking out at the water from your bed! The view, you will never get tired of. They have everything you need, we really never wanted for anything! Communication was great with the owners when we had a power problem due to a storm. Snorkeling at the house was awesome! Highly recommend this house! was fantastic!

Amazing week!

The house is in great shape, an absolute prime location, and had non stop amenities. I woke up every morning and paddled to the pier and back on the provided kayaks. The snorkeling directly out from the house is top notch, there is shallow corals 50yds in front of the sea wall! The house is very private which was amazing. We are reviewing dates now, to rebook for next year. I highly recommend!

Amazing week in St. Croix

Perfect house and place for a week in St. Croix. Fully stocked with everything you need from making meals, relaxing, to enjoying a week at the beach! Everything is well thought out and taken care of. The layout and design of the house makes you feel like you are in paradise every moment. The pool is a perfect addition for relaxing in after a fun day out in the ocean. Close walk or drive into Frederiksted where you have great options for a night out, snorkeling near the pier, and shopping! Truly a perfect place and a perfect getaway.

A Beautiful Location

The beach house was clean and absolutely lovely. Beautiful kitchen and spa like bathrooms. The location with our own private beach was amazing and we enjoyed snorkeling, swimming and just relaxing in the shade. We would recommend the Salty Pier beach house to anyone and hope to return again!

West is Best!

We absolutely loved our stay at Salty Pier Beach House! The house itself is beautiful and the host had so many nice little touches throughout. Traveling with two kids was much easier with the snorkel equipment, life vests, toys, towels, even sunscreen! The beds were so comfortable, and there was nothing we felt we needed that wasn’t there at the house for us. We also loved how close we were to so many amazing restaurants and beaches. We felt safe and secure the whole time, and would absolutely love to stay here again. Thanks so much to owners!

Our Stay at the Salty Pier Beach House

We just spent a week at the Salty Pier Beach House in Christiansted, St Croix and had a wonderful time. The house is ideally located less than a mile from Christiansted and more importantly is located directly on a very private beach. The house is very well equipped with everything you will need inside the house and out including kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, beach towels and beach toys. The owners were very accessible and easy to work with. We highly recommend the Salty Pier Beach House and are already looking forward to our next stay.

The Salty Pier Beach House was a little slice of heaven, perfect in every way and only steps away from the ocean!

We had an amazing time at The Salty Pier House! We enjoyed listening to the waves day and night. We spent every single morning sitting on the beach with our morning coffee (made using the amazing coffee bar provided in the house) and many afternoons and evening enjoying the views from the beach! It was just what we were looking for. The house was extremely well equipped and you can just arrive with your luggage and a quick stop at the grocery store and you wouldn't have to leave again if that is what you chose. Also, the beds were extremely comfortable, which is so hard to come by at a vacation house. This was our first visit to St. Croix and we will definitely be back, the beauty is unmatched. We absolutely loved the laid back atmosphere and all of the friendly people! We did the full day tour at Buck Island, the sunset tour from Frederiksted pier, the Captain Morgan Rum tour, the Sion Farm Distillery tour (mutiny vodka, etc.) and we had an amazing time on each one! We did rent a vehicle and drove to many of the scenic areas, including Udall Point, Isaacs Bay, Sandy Point Nature Reserve and Monks Bath Beach. We also had a couple of meals at Rhythms at Rainbow Beach and it was amazing and had such beautiful views. This was hands down, the best vacation we have ever taken and we were so sad that it had to end! We will definitely be back to the Salty Pier Beach House!

Amazing

The Salty Pier Beach House was absolutely amazing and I've never stayed with more amazing hosts...the property is stunning from the comfortable space, including the beds, to the fully stocked kitchen, the wide range of water sports (snorkel and paddle boards) supplies, and finally the view. From start to finish this was the best rental experience I have ever had and I cannot say enough great things about this space and the hosts. Thank you to the Salty Pier hosts for making our trip so amazing.

Awesome!

One of the best vacations I have ever taken. This home was perfect for 2 couples. The beach is 20 feet from the side door. You really should wear good water shoes to get in and out of the water, the coral/rocks are alittle rough on the feet. We spent hours in the water, snorkeling, kayaking and just hanging out and drinking cocktails. The house has a few items to float with, a noodle and a another floatie. There are 2 kayaks, we used one and went to Rhythms. (you can also walk there, just a 5 min walk down the road). The home had everything we needed, towels, good beds, fans, beach towels, beach chairs, pots, pans and a wonderful coffee bar. The ice maker makes ice, but you will need to get more if you plan to make blender drinks. We went to Dominoes Club (pigs drink the nonalcoholic beers, drove thru the rain forest (you should have a jeep the roads are alittle tough to drive on), hiked Isaacs bay, walked around the shops in the West End, made small meals at the house and basically relaxed. All of the reviews are accurate and we agree...West is Best. Hosts are very responsive and we hope to be back next year. Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend staying at the Salty Pier.

Amazing vacation!

Our stay at the Salty Pier beach house was spectacular! The view of the beach/ocean was just what we were looking for. My friend and I both had our own bedroom/bathroom with an ocean view, what a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. The snorkling was wonderful right off the beach at the house. Right down the road we walked to Rainbow beach and enjoyed a wonderful meal and sunset, along with watching the cute dogs on the beach. Cruzan Cowgirls horseback ride in the rainforest and on the beach was the best! Mike's taxi was great, he took us to Christiansted for the day. Great food and shopping. Fredricksted we walked to, had a nice little grocery store and a bar and grill I believed called Top of the Grill, nice place to play a game of pool and have a drink. Overall our visit to St. Croix was just what I was looking for; serene, relaxing, and I will miss waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean.

We really loved staying at the Salty Pier! The place was everything we wanted in a vacation home. The only thing we would recommend is to be sure and wear some bug spray if you intend to sit out on the beach after dark. Can’t wait to come back again!

Once we visited St. Croix, we knew this was an island we wanted to visit often. When we walked in the front door of this home and saw the impeccable turquoise beach water and its surreal sunsets, we were instantly hooked. One of our favorite things to do on the property is sitting out back on the beach with our morning coffee (or afternoon cocktails) and often getting to catch dolphins or turtles in view. This home is also conveniently located on the West End which offers the most tranquil waters in St Croix, stunning beaches, and incredible world-class snorkeling/diving at the Frederiksted Pier.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are two families from Colorado – The husbands are brothers, and the wives are sisters-in-law and the best of friends. Together we have five beautiful daughters ranging from toddler to teen. We completely fell in love with St. Croix after our parents moved here as their permanent residence a few years back. It’s the best of both worlds when you get to visit somewhere so beautiful and spend valuable time with family and friends. St. Croix has such a charming vibe, the people of the island are so friendly, it isn’t as touristy as many of the surrounding islands, there are so many fun foodie spots and endless island-style fun to be had.
