Our stay at this property was absolutely delightful. It is off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for. The home is stocked with all the things you might need. The owners even let us borrow their crockpot for easy meals! We enjoyed the path around the property, sunrises and sunsets on the porch, and nearby hiking at Hidden Treasure. It was the perfect mountain getaway we were looking for!

Quartz Point Ranch provided exactly what we sought for a family holiday. We three 80-year-olds sought quiet, space, and fun. The owner clearly stated that the "lane" to the address was rough, which proved to be true, but don't let it daunt you. We heard no traffic noise--yes, not one motorcycle. We had pleasant views, roomy bedrooms, space and equipment for for cooking meals, room for a jigsaw puzzle to be one the table and a card game or two. Remember the altitude if yo ramble the property, but you will enjoy spotting resident squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits. A mule deer wandered through the scene, but we but missed moose or others likely to be around when you come. Three days of relaxation were hard to beat.

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. It feels remote yet only 5 minutes from downtown Black Hawk. The house was older but had the essential updates and was very clean. We were there mid April and lucky enough to get an inch or so of snow. The host was extremely responsive throughout the process.

We had a lovely stay. Host was very communicative. Easy to find with the directions provided. Nice, big comfy space for us. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and linens and everything we needed to have a fun filled visit.

Our host Kristen is wonderful. The ranch being a larger acreage has a feel of isolation. The views are great and the home has a comfortable feel with a great table for playing games.

Great Girls Trip Getaway!!

We had an amazing stay at Quartz Point Ranch. Host was amazing and answered any questions we had quickly! Views were beautiful from the home, and we even got to see and mother and baby moose on the road to the house.

The listing was exactly as pictured! The location is unbeatable and the hosts were communicative and responsive to anything we needed. You definitely feel like you’re in the mountains! For a taste of the simple, mountain life, this place was perfect.

This was the perfect spot to enjoy the end of Fall between some work and play in the Denver area. Very clean, great bathroom downstairs, and very spacious. Really enjoyed walking the peaceful property and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

Awesome property, great hosts

We had a great week-long stay at Quartz Point Ranch! The house was quite large and comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook a big Thanksgiving meal. We really enjoyed exploring the property as well. Kris, Mike and Brandi were all so welcoming and we felt at home. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

It is as described, lovely outside of Blackhawk. The view is gorgeous. The rooms were spacious. The host were available if needed. I definitely would stay here again.

Quartz ranch

Great weekend at quartz ranch, hiking , fall colors were amazing, we even saw moose outside on the patio. Accommodations were great. Plenty of room for a family of 6 to spread out!

Very communicative and helpful! Perfect for our needs! Only recommendation is buy food prior to arriving as nearest grocery is at least 20 minute drive. Love the quiet!

This house was exactly what we were hoping it would be. So much room to spread out, it was great for my sister, me, and the kids. It was clean, no bugs, perfect temps, and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were amazing. The wrap around porch with the view of the mountains was breathtaking. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We loved sitting outside with our coffee in the mornings, watching and listening to the critters. We both had a hummingbird come up to our face each morning. Squirrels, chipmunks, and we heard a moose close by. They have trails marked with a map when you get there and have put in so much work into making them fun. The only thing we had issues with, was the grill, but I text Brandie and she came right over and got it started. We had great weather for watching shooting stars, and some incredible thunderstorms. I can’t say enough great things about this place and Brandie. We hated to leave!

A wonderful older home on an even more wonderful property. We had every intention of getting out and exploring the area, the desire to leave left us the moment we arrived. The incredible wrap around deck adds a level of nostalgia that you don’t experience often anymore. The tranquility of the forest offers endless relaxation and entertainment from the wildlife and views. We were lucky enough to have bouts of rain roll through to add a natural soundscape to our reading. Fantastic views! Our two old senile pups turned into Lewis & Clark on our little walks in the woods. We did see a moose so leashes are a must! Communication was very responsive. All around loved this property and will be back!
