Great place

Beautiful property, excellent location, short walk to beach, pool was great and larger than the pictures, fishing off the dock was a huge plus and enjoyed by the kids. All around great place. Only negative was the internet which was a little spotty - but didn't mind since we were on vacation! Definitely recommend and would stay again. Perfect size for our family of 4 and enough room for a 2nd family of 4.

Perfect location!

Love the house and location! We had an issue with the pool heater not working so it was a too chilly to swim. They sent someone out twice but finally got it working mid week of our stay. Overall a great place and we enjoyed it! Love the kitchen and layout of the home.

Everything was great.

We were slightly concerned with cleanliness due to prior reviews but everything was wonderful, and immaculate. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed or could have wanted, pool was clean and the perfect temperature. Dock was perfect for our boat, as well as set up for kayaking and paddle boarding. We did rent those they were not included but the kayak company delivered and picked up right to the house. Walking distance to the beach and trolley stop was very close. The house was incredibly roomy and very comfortable for us. We had 7 in our party. We visited in April and the manatees stole the show. There were so many and right out the back canal. Had a great time, thank you for everything. We will be back again.

Wonderful Trip

This house was wonderful, even better than the pictures in person. It was immaculately clean with very comfortable beds. Our family of six had plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet but just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, restaurants, and the grocery store. The home was well-stocked with basic necessities and we cooked most of our meals at home. The canal out back and the pool were highlights for our family. We saw so much wildlife from the backyard including herons and egrets landing just feet away, fish jumping all day, and even a manatee right off the dock. Our kids caught starfish and shrimp by hand from the dock and spent many hours fishing. Our family swam in the pool most days, ate almost every meal at the backyard table, and spent many hours reading in the beautiful backyard or hanging out on the docks. The hosts were clear, informative, and quick to respond. They were very accommodating and helpful with an adjustment we requested for one of our kids with disabilities. This was our third stay on Anna Maria and by far the nicest home we’ve stayed in. Highly recommended!

It was not clean and needs updating

The property was not very clean when we arrived. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old that were on the floor a lot. The floors made all of our feet and socks black. There was dust, a sock, and finger/toe nails in the living room. We went to publics and bought cleaning supplies. The kitchen equipment is pathetic. All the pans were rusted and were also dirty. Simple things like trash bags were not there. We also had to buy those. The price included the pool being heated it was not and was also dirty upon arrival. (The day before we left someone came to clean it. The house could be nice but it is not in this state. We over paid and that is not including the cleaning fee.

We are very sorry to hear that the clean was not up to your or our standards and would have been happy to send the cleaners back to tend to anything that was missed. We try our best to ensure that all of our guests are happy with their accommodations and try to rectify any and all issues should they come up. For future stays, please let us know if there is anything that you are not satisfied with during your stay so that we can make it right. As mentioned in our arrival information, all of our homes provide a starter pack of supplies such as garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, soap etc.Please note that often times the pools will be cooler than the set temperature during the colder winter months, as the pool pumps can’t keep up with the cold air. The pool is serviced once a week and our records don't show any reported pool issues. We appreciate your feedback and have since replaced the kitchen items. We hope that you were able to enjoy your vacation and beautiful island despite the issues. We would love to have you stay with us again for your future island stays.

Beautiful home,nasty canal

The home was gorgeous and had everything you would need. Beachy chic vibe. The pool area was great UNTIL some kind of seagrass started blowing in and virtually kept us as prisoners inside. There were hundreds upon hundreds of birds pooping in the pool,actually on me,swimming in the pool, pooping all over the patio and then the stench of rotting matter was too much so we virtually had to leave the home as the stench started to "seep" inside the home. If you have any kind of odor issues or bird issues,this home is not for you. I would 100% use Anna Maria Rentals again but never,ever this location.

Modern and beautiful house in Holmes Beach

We really enjoyed our time in AMI and the house was a big part of it. As soon as you open the door you can see the bay water and the pool through huge windows. The kitchen is the highlight of the interior, it looks like it was just renovated. The living area is very comfortable too, with views to the outside as well. Bathrooms are on the small side, but well kept. We would have liked to have found some staples in the kitchen, like salt or pepper. Also, kitchenware for kids would be a good addition. Pool is big, and faces the water, though not very kid friendly, since it’s pretty deep and there are no real shallow parts. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the house and it’s one of the best I saw in AMI. All in all, a great house, inviting, clean, bright and conveniently located, quiet and nice neighborhood. Would love to go back!

Perfect Paradise

Our Christmas week here with our family was perfect. The house was clean and fresh and well decorated. The kitchen was new and beyond gorgeous and well equipped. The water views from the vaulted living room/kitchen were fabulous. We fished, walked to the beach and restaurants, relaxed at the pool and even saw manatees! We were all sad to leave but hope to comeback!

Great spot

We arrived to the house being very dirty with the last people's bedding cast all over the floors. One phone call and they had a crew there in minutes to clean the whole house. The home was great with pool being much larger than in the pics. Beds were comfortable with a great set up for kids. Dock was perfect for the boat. Only challenge is the cleaning crew seems to whioe every condiment or anything useful from the shelves. You must stock everything. Overall great home and fun stay!

Great house for boaters

We loved staying at this house. It's well maintained & Perfect if you plan to bring your boat. The house is roomier that it looks from the outside. Very easy to find using google maps. A short drive to grocery store and Pharmacy. We visited April when canal had several Manatee in residence. They offered a non-stop show. What we loved: Very comfortable comon areas. It is walkable distance to the gulf beach & there is a trolly stop at the end of the street. The house has comfy beds and more than enough sheets & towels. The pool is heated and pristine. It gets full sun until very late in the day. There are a few pool toys & float tubes, but plan to bring your own rafts. Great barbecue grill on the patio. The dock is sturdy, easily accessible and puts you right into the bay just north of Manatee Bridge. What we didn't like: The kitchen is small and the cookware is not in great shape We planned meals around cooking outside. The blender, a must for us, is missing the gasket (unusable). No cleaning table or water on the dock, but the garden hose will reach. Parking is limited to two cars and there is no parking allowed on the streets. There is a kayak at the property, but it's padlocked and not available for guests.
