This home was extremely clean, and on a beautiful, peaceful cove. The host was very responsive. The location is close to everything. I would suggest the host add some mixing bowls - but not a deal breaker ;)

Great scalloping spot better for flats boats

House was exactly what we were looking for. Be careful travelling by boat through flats and mangroves to get to channel but worked out fine with a deeper V hull fishing boat.

Very cute. Love the water access. Completely redone with well appointed fixtures. Nice view and very open. Loved the theater room and the beds were very comfy. House was centrally located so everything was very close by.

This home was amazing! Location, cleanliness, communication, comfort and all the extras were excellent. The home is so thoughtfully furnished. Plenty of room for larger group or family, but feels spacious and cozy at the same time. We loved the outdoor area and kayaking from the dock. Jonathan and Emily gave us great suggestions for breakfast and dinner nearby. It is close to the parks for manatee visits and beach days. We rent a lot of VRBO’s and have since its inception and this has moved to top of our list. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting the warmth and water of Florida without the crowds and a place to just relax.

Good Vibrations

This is one of the cleanest and best “put together “ properties that I’ve stayed in my 20+ years of using VRBO. Everything in the house is new, clean, and of superior quality. The owner seem to really want to provide the guests with a good experience . The home is delightfully appointed with tasteful decorations and colors. The home has a great feel to it that is relaxing and comforting. It’s got a great vibe. It on a canal leading to the main river. Minutes away from the springs and downtown. Quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend.

Overall Impression

Overall impression and stay was very good. Great location, very quiet around and in neighborhood. Don't let outside of house fool you, as the inside is Very nicely done and more than adequate for me, wife, daughter, and her boyfriend. Only negatives. 3 out of 5 ceiling fans, which are all remote control, did not work. Actually, 1 of those we don't know if it worked or not, as could not locate nor did owner know, where the remote was. AC was good enough to offset this though. Trash, when we arrived on Wednesday the 24th, was literally, not kidding, overflowing onto the driveway. By Thursday afternoon, we had flies, outside and a few that got in house, from the trash. We talked to owner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, but it took until Saturday morning at 8:00 am for it to be removed. I think their property management company was useless here, so I don't totally blame that on owner. Other than those couple glitches, I would stay here again. It needs some "Tweaks", enough towels and bath mats for guests, yard could use some TLC, but all-in-all, I would give this a 3.5'ish out of 5. We satay in a LOT of rentals and this is certainly not the best, but way from the worst.

We absolutely loved this home! It’s incredibly charming and thoughtfully set up. We actually live in the neighborhood and booked it for my mom—and the fact that it’s pet-friendly was a huge plus. Everything is clearly labeled, the beds are very comfortable, and the canal view is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the cute tiki hut and spending time fishing. Highly recommend—owners were super responsive and easy to work with!

Perfectly appointed home

We loved our stay at the house in Dixie Shores. We brought our boats and scalloped spent the afternoons up river at the springs but loved the quietness of Dixie Shores. The house is perfectly appointed. Every little thing you could want is labeled and neatly put away. Easy to stay and relax in. The home was clean the linens felt newer which after years of staying in VRBO's we can say isn't always the case. I felt like I was staying at a family members home and they wanted me to feel welcome. Will stay again if available. Thank you Jonathan and Emily for keeping a wonderful home.

Beautiful retreat on the Nature Coast

We loved our stay at this property. Everything was very clean, well organized, and very close to everything we wanted to explore in Crystal River; Homosassa is only a short drive down the road. All cabinets were labeled, linens provided, even shampoo/conditioner/soap in nice dispensers in each bathroom. We had a blast taking the kayaks out, and being right on the water made that a breeze. The hosts were easy to communicate with, even suggesting local breakfast and dinner options for our family. We loved the area and the home and will be back for another adventure - hopefully soon!
