Les points forts : Arrivée, communication, emplacement
Most of the house is perfectly fine, nothing special but will get the job done. The room with the hot tub and sauna is dreadfully unfinished with multiple nails poking out of the open wall panels, electronics on the floor and when we showed up to multiple puddles in the room it made it feel like the room hadn’t been taken care of after the previous guest. After cleaning up my girlfriend and I tried to use the hot tub and we’re maybe 300 pounds combined, the hot tub has a 3 person limit and with us simply standing in the tub for not even 5 minutes we ended up with an inch of water on the ground. This hot tub is a foot from the sauna which is less of a traditional sauna and more of a box that warms up with dry heat, it works but just wasn’t what we expected or were really looking for and the hot tub situation just feels unsafe and not well taken care of. Other than that problems were minor, coffee bar wasn’t restocked at all and the backyard isn’t very private. Great house for an 8 person snowboarding trip that doesn’t expect to use the amenities, disappointing house for a couple looking for a relaxing birthday trip to the porkies

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a rental. It was, quite frankly, disgusting. It was incredibly unsanitary, and even had a hole at the top of the stairs. We don't expect perfection, we understand renting a home means there will be some dust, some missed crumbs or hair. But this was to an extent that was just ridiculous. There was toothpaste all over the mirror and sink. There was hair on the sheets. Dust on every surface. There was garbage on the ground from previous guests. There was black mold on the dish mat. The dish rack was dirty. There was built-up dust and dog hair in each and every corner. There was a missed garbage can in the laundry room (not a huge deal, just adds to the overall gross feeling). The home is also in disrepair. There was a hole in the flooring at the top of the stairs. With a child, I did not feel safe letting him go up there. The house is falling apart, but we could have looked over all of that if it didn't involve a risk of my child's foot getting splinters. We ended up going to a hotel instead, and although we are out way too much money, we felt much better about our decision. Do not stay here! Find a motel, bring a tent. It will be much more worth your money. And definitely cleaner.

Location, Location, Location

This home is located in an amazing spot. The neighborhood is very nice with friendly people everywhere. It is a short drive to many of the best waterfalls and of course, the Porcupine Mountains. Well maintained and stocked. A very pleasant stay and would return for our next Eastern U.P, stay.
