Relax on a Scenic Porch Steps from the Historical Trail

Located just off of Hwy 321 for easy access all year round. Our wrap-around porch, fire pit, wood burning fireplace, updated amenities and fully-stocked kitchen all make this an ideal landing spot for a carefree vacation. The Townsend Historical trail (a paved walking/biking path trailing for miles throughout Townsend) is accessible directly from the driveway. Just 20 minutes from Cades Cove and 5 minutes from the Townsend entrance to GSMNP!

We recommend having a vehicle on hand!

- Due to the agreement with our cleaning service provider, we are not able to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. You may check-in as early as 4 pm and must check out by 10 am.

- For your convenience we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay.

- Due to the rural location of this property, cell phone reception may occasionally be spotty.

- Guests are responsible for providing their own firewood.

- The Fireplace is only operational from October 1- April 1.

- Guests are responsible for providing their own propane for grills and outdoor fireplaces. There is often a supply left by previous guests, so we recommend checking before purchase.

- This is a pet-friendly property. There will be a fee of $75.00 per pet. This fee allows us to provide extra care and cleaning to ensure the home is fresh and comfortable for the next guests, including guests with allergies. Please note that no pets should be over 75 lbs, and we only allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, must be potty trained, and must be kenneled when left at the property alone. You will be charged for any damages caused by your pets. Please note that the pet fee must be paid before booking.
- You may not book if you live locally without asking for permission and letting us know why you need a place in town.

- By booking with us you agree to download our app to gain access to the property.

- Guests will be expected to clean up spills and messes that they make and throw all their trash in the trash can. Also, it will be the guest`s responsibility to do the dishes before they leave.

- To protect the host and guest, we must verify all guests ahead of the stay. Please be aware: As a part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and pass through our guest portal. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.

- You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully completing the guest portal.

- THERE WILL BE A $500 CHARGE FOR SMOKING, PARTYING, OR BREAKING ANY OTHER HOUSE RULES!

- Please do not bring glitter, confetti, or anything like that to any of our properties.

- Please ensure that you review the cancellation policy as it pertains to any cancellation for any COVID-19 reason. We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance because we cannot operate outside of our cancellation policy for any reason.

- No food or drink in the hot tub or pool.

***Please Note: Guests will not have access to the garage.

- Due to our close proximity to the National Park, we have a large population of insects, including ladybugs, house flies, stink bugs, millipedes, carpenter bees, and wasps. Although all of our properties are sprayed regularly by a professional pest control company, the city and park areas are not. During various times of the year, these insects may find their way into the property. By booking, you understand that is a possibility during your stay and understand that there will be no refunds related to bugs getting into the property. We will be happy to work with you to get pest control back out if necessary.

Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply. Renter will receive and agrees to sign the Terms immediately after making reservation, which will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- The “Minimum Age” to rent the Property is 25 years of age.
- By booking you agree to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID directly to us. We will request this after your reservation has been made
- The Renter is solely responsible for Renter’s actions and the actions of all family members, guests, and invitees.
- Noise audible outside the Property is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- Unless authorized by the Property Manager, the number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum occupancy indicated in the listing or the reservation for the Property.
- Check-in is from 4:00PM until 12:00AM and Check-out is before 10:00 AM.
- If you do not vacate by check-out time, you authorize us to charge a late departure fee of up to one night’s rental and we may remove all Occupants and their personal property from the Property.
- No smoking is permitted on the Property at any time.
- This is a pet-friendly property. There will be a fee of $75.00 per pet. Please note that no pets should be over 75 lbs and we only allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Pets must be kenneled when not supervised, and must be housebroken. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Please note that the pet fee must be paid before booking.
- Renter authorizes us to bill the credit card on file for the full amount of the Rental Fee at the time of booking. Renter agrees not to make chargeback claims with its credit or debit card issuer.
- Events and commercial photography or filming are prohibited at the Property without our express written permission.
- Use of the Property for any criminal activity is prohibited.
- Neither the Property Manager nor the Owner will be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including those arising from the use of any pool, hot tub, lake, or bunk bed on the property.
- Upon your arrival at the Property, you should inspect the rental unit to ensure the Property condition is to your satisfaction. If you find any conditions you need to report as unsatisfactory or damaged upon your arrival, you should report such conditions within two hours after the time you arrive at the Property. After the two-hour period expires, the Property is provided as is and we are not responsible for the inoperability or unavailability of any amenities.
- You further agree to give us a reasonable amount of time to respond to your report and to cooperate with our efforts to address the concern or provide a remedy.
- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.

Location and house were wonderful. I would give 5 stars but the appliances would be rated a 1. The dishwasher and washer and dryer need to be replaced. I didn’t watch TV but my family says the TV didn’t work well. Also, there was no bear box. With these updates, this place is very nice.

Would stay here again.

Perfect location for bicyclist wanting to enjoy Townsend bike paths. Any issue we had was resolved by property management in a timely manner. I would stay at their properties in the future again.

Home away from home

Spacious, CLEAN, comfortable, modern appliances (the refrigator makes hot water), very nice showers, extra large covered porch. My husband and I stayed 9 days. Townsend is a very quiet community with great local shops and resturaunts. Convient enough to Cades Cove to go every day. It was the perfect location between Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove without having all of the conjested traffic of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Also, near Foothills Parkway and "The Dragon". We had a lovely stay, could not ask for more.

The rental was very nice and we would use the home again if the need arose. The only neg. -- I slipped in the showertwice. You need to put strips on the floor of the shower before someone gets hurt. We could also have used a set of instrcutions for using the microwave and oven...We areelectronicaly over the hill. It would have been nice to use these appliances.

Amazing!!!!

I loved everything about the property, good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice view and very quiet, peaceful place. Also liked the way the hosts would communicate with me quickly and give me accurate answers to my questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Tennessee.

This property does not deserve a 5 star review. The house smells like mildew or that it’s been closed up for an extended period of time. Either way, it didn’t make it very enjoyable to walk into. We had to open the windows and turn the fans on to air it out. The TV and or WiFi was terrible. Every channel or streaming service froze and skipped. I restarted the internet 2x and it didn’t help. I didn’t come there to watch tv but it wouldn’t been nice to watch the news with my morning coffee while waiting for the rest to get moving. I’m sure not giving you a stellar review means you won’t give me 5 stars either, and I’m fine with that. I followed your rules, so I know I did what’s right.

Daddy Daughter Memory Making Trip

Daddy turned 80 last month and I rented this house for our trip down memory lane.The house was clean and had everything one could want or need. They screwed up our check in and had to find a hotel for first night as office was closed and didn't answer our calls. Kitchen pots and pans were terrible, plates for 4 even though house is advertised for 6.

The property was in an extremely desirable location for us. Everything was clean and we had plenty of linen and amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was on one level with just a few steps for access. There was a great covered area as well as a large open deck. Some of the outside seating had holes, but there were plenty of options available. Great location- beds are hard and not comfortable. Furniture needs updating. Fans and lights and remotes need new batteries and there was a smoke detector chirp somewhere. We couldn’t find it. Might be in the closet behind fireplace by the front door ?

Quiet Family Get Away

This was a delightful get away for our family get together. It was quiet. Away from the city. One hour from the airport. 5 minutes from the Smoky Mtns National park. 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge. It was perfect for our family. The beds were comfy and the baths were sparkly. There were a few things ... that prevented it from being magical. But the house wasn't responsible for the snoring. :^) Wished we could have taken advantage of the grill and fire pit. That will have to wait until our return visit. Cheers!

A/C was broke; hard to communicate with property personnel

It was great except for the A/C and washing machine. The A/C was supposed to be fixed the last day; however it quit working again at night and it was again just blowing hot air by late evening . The washing machine goes through the cycle but doesn't ring out all the water. Took a long time to dry clothes. Property personnel was hard to get a hold of. You have to download their app; then if any issues arise you have to go to booking site and contact them; and then they started emailing after that. So I never knew where to look for correspondence. Except for those things, I would stay again. Replace washing machine; and completely fix a/c. Overall it was clean and quiet though.

Cabin Clean but Lacking Essentials for stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable. I think this cabin could be a Super Host with some very simple additions. There was one trash can in the cabin and a waste basket in the master bath. No waste basket in common bathroom or any of the bedrooms. The shower door in the common bedroom was off the track and could have been very dangerous. The cabin needs an interior paint job. Most of the walls were scuffed up. The dresser in the master had a huge water stain on it. The chest in the living room had a stain on it where an air freshener had melted and spilled onto the chest. The blinds in the twin bed room had broken pieces. There was not a broom, so we could not sweep up crumbs in kitchen. There were not cleaning supplies at all. We could not wipe down toliets after use, also no toliet brushes. One of the chairs on the porch had a huge whole on it. The coffee pot is really old and hard to get a regular coffee filter to fit in it. Overall we did enjoy our stay there. To rent this cabin again I would ask the host to make these small but easy changes. Refrigerator and dishwasher worked great. We did not use the fireplace, grill, oven, firepit or washer & dryer but I am sure they were in good working condition. Withe some easy changes I think this could be a Super Host rental.
