Grand Pelican - 3 Bed/1 Loft Lakeside Cottage!

Welcome to Grand Pelican, a spacious, airy, lakefront cottage on Grand Lake St Marys in Celina, OH! This beautiful, “Key West” inspired, 3 bedroom, 1 loft, and 2 bathroom cottage has spectacular views of both the lake and the pool

Step inside to an open-concept living space filled with natural light, a fully equipped kitchen, oversized island, and cozy living room with a Smart TV – the perfect spot to kick back and relax all while enjoying the lake views through the sliding glass door. Cable and internet are provided. Enjoy a comfortable night’s rest on freshly laundered linens and memory-foam mattresses. A washer and dryer are provided inside the unit as well.

As you continue through the cottage, you will find the master bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor with its own private bathroom. The second bathroom is in the downstairs hallway. Upstairs is where you can find two additional queen bedrooms along with a ladder-access twin bed loft.

Enjoy the private patio or covered front porch to watch the early morning sunrise or the late evening sunsets with front-row views of the lake. Boardwalk Village guests will have access to enjoy both pools, grills, outdoor dining areas, a four-season pool house, yard games, and more. Free parking is also available for guests. Guests will receive a door code prior to arrival for an easy self-check-in.

We’re just minutes from downtown Celina, where there you’ll find plenty of shopping and dining options. You can walk, bike, or rent a golf cart to explore the area.

BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 8. On the main floor, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed. There is 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen bed along with an upstairs loft, accessed by a ladder, with 2 twin beds.

PARKING: This cottage comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. Parking at BOARDWALK GRILL is prohibited unless you are dining at the restaurant.

POOL: We will provide 8 wristbands in your unit for each guest to access the pool areas. We also provide a key fob that gains you access to the pool when open. You will be able to access both pools with this key fob. Pool access is for staying guests only.
*Pool Season: May - September (time frame may change depending on weather)*
*Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Guests use the pool at their own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur in the pool area.*

PETS: This unit is NOT pet friendly. However, we do have select units that are pet friendly at Boardwalk Village – Pelican’s Perch, The Captain, 769 TH, 771 TH, Sandlot, Glistening Gem, Sunny Shores, and Coastal Charm.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: At Boardwalk Village, we pride ourselves not only on our superb service but the quality of our units as well. With that, a $250 security deposit will show as a pre-authorized/pending charge on your credit card prior to your check-in. This is to cover any broken, stolen, damaged and/or irreplaceable items, and smoking anywhere inside the unit. This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. If the cost of damages exceeds the $250 security deposit, the additional amount will be charged to the card on file.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. This also applies to any reservation date changes. When booking through Airbnb, the cancellation policy is a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.

ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFO: You will only be charged 50% of your entire reservation amount upon booking (unless your check-in is within 30 days). The final 50% will be auto-charged 30 days prior to check-in.

BOAT RENTALS: Helton Lodge Boat Rentals is located right here at Boardwalk Village! Helton Lodge offers rentals for pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boats, golf carts, bicycles and more!

BOAT DOCKS: Dock spaces are available for rent for $25 per each day of your reservation if you are bringing your own boat. If you are renting a boat from Helton Lodge, you do not need to rent a dock as one is already provided.

SUB SHACK: We`ve got two awesome Sub Shack locations! Boardwalk Marketplace - Our seasonal (May 1st-September 30th), weather-based spot serving subs, salads, apps & more. Shipyard Sports & Events Center - which is just 0.6 miles down the road from Boardwalk Village! Enjoy a full dining experience with subs, salads, apps, drinks & plenty of fun. The restaurant overlooks the Sports Fieldhouse, so you can kick back while the kids shoot hoops, play soccer, and more (when leagues and tournaments aren`t in session). Plus, take a swing in our indoor golf simulators!

FITNESS CENTER ACCESS FOB: An amazing fitness experience awaits you at Innergy Fitness, located inside Shipyard Sports and Event Center. By purchasing an access fob add-on at check-out, you`ll get 24/7 access to top of the line cardio + strength equipment, a dry + infrared sauna, and access to their innovative fitness classes! The cost of the access fob add-on is $5 per fob per night of your reservation, so you are able to access the Innergy Fitness facility throughout your entire reservation. If it is not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75 to replace.

BLUE GOOSE SHUTTLE: Hop on the Blue Goose and let it shuttle you to all the local events, bars, restaurants, and shopping locations. The Blue Goose travels on its regular route throughout Celina on weekends from May 1st through September 30th. From October 1st through April 30th, you can call in advance to reserve the Blue Goose. Don’t worry about driving anywhere during your stay at Boardwalk Village!

COCONUT HUT: located in the Boardwalk Marketplace, is open and serving up island vibes, delicious food from the Sub Shack, and tropical drinks, 7 days a week from May 1st -September 30th! It`s a lively, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere we`ve created for guests and locals alike - and we hope you`ll come check it out!

WEEKLY/MONTHLY OFF-SEASON DISCOUNTS: We offer a 15% weekly discount if you stay 7+ nights and a 30% monthly discount if you stay 30+ nights. These discounts are valid during our OFF-SEASON months only (October-April). The discount codes can be applied at the time of booking your reservation but are not valid if you are taking advantage of our extended stay program. We have the right to remove the discount code from your reservation if you are staying in a unit that is part of our extended stay program. The below details will show the validity period for each discount code:

An extended stay booking is for short-term, temporary lodging only. No tenancy rights or landlord-tenant relationships are created. This property may not be used as a permanent or primary residence. Guests may not receive mail or packages at this address. Guests must vacate the premises by the end of the reservation. Failure to vacate will result in additional charges, and legal action may be taken if necessary.

**The fourth phase of Boardwalk Village is currently under construction. Construction will begin October 2025 and is expected to be finished Summer 2026. This is taking place on the far South end of the property. Do take this into consideration when booking as there will be construction work going on during this time frame from 8am-4pm during the week. The crews will be cognizant of guests staying during this time and will keep noise as minimal as possible while still trying to stay on schedule to completion. Thank you for your understanding!**

Please refer to the signage for pool area rules and hours. Guests who enter the pool area must have a Boardwalk Village wristband. NO GLASS IN THE POOL AREA - NO EXCEPTIONS!

QUIET HOURS begin at 11PM.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10AM. Please vacate the unit on time so our cleaning staff has enough time to prepare for our next guests. Please close all windows and lock all exterior doors. Late departures will be charged $75. Our housekeeping staff has carefully cleaned, stocked and inventoried this unit prior to your arrival. Please help us maintain the inventory by placing items back where they belong so we can keep our level of quality for all guests. If the rules are overlooked or there is excessive cleaning required, extra charges will be added to your reservation.

All dishes used should be cleaned AND put away, or put in the dishwasher (if applicable) and the cycle started.

Please empty the refrigerator & EMPTY liquids (like milk, juice, etc.) before disposing containers! Place all trash in bags and disposed of in the provided dumpster.

Please place all used towels in the tub or shower of the bathrooms.

Great girls getaway!

We stayed here for a girls getaway and it was perfect! The home was beautiful and well appointed. It was located right by the pool. We loved that there were restaurants that we could walk to. The vibe of the place makes you feel like you are in Florida. Would definitely recommend.

This lakefront spot was perfect for hosting business associates! Beautiful views, plenty of space to relax or talk shop, and everything we needed to make a great impression. It had all the right touches for a productive yet laid-back time. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

My wife & I travelled to Ohio so we could spend the Thanksgiving holiday with our kids (one attends college in Michigan, the other in Ohio). We were looking for a place where we could gather for a Thanksgiving feast, spend time playing games, enjoy the area, etc. We loved this location, plenty of space, enjoyed the view, and would look to stay here again in future visits.

We had the best weekend at the Grand Pelican. The Boardwalk Village is a hidden little gem that makes you feel like you are in the South! Loved all the new activities. They do need an onsite coffee shop and general store, other than that - perfect!

Great stay

We had a wonderful time in Grand Pelican. The house was clean, nicely furnished and had a well stocked kitchen. The location was very nice. We enjoyed meals at Boardwalk grill as well as many wonderful restaurants throughout Celina. The only negative was the stairs inside the house. The stair treads weren’t deep enough for an adult foot to fit on and made traversing the stair difficult.

Perfect getaway location (and CLEAN)!

This cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was spacious, extremely clean, bright and had the best location with a view of the lake right outside the glass sliding door. One parking space (of two) and the unloading zone are immediately in front of the unit.We made good use of the well equipped kitchen and the washer/dryer. Lots of towels were supplied. The Grill next door had excellent food! While we were there, a bad storm came through and the lights flickered. We realized we did not have a flashlight in the cottage if the power went out. We did not lose power but that was the only thing we would have wanted.Several friends wanted booking info for their future vacations. Highly recommend.
