Create your next memory in this luxurious & recently renovated oceanfront condo on the third floor. This beachfront condo is a great place to enjoy a fun vacation with family and friends! The home includes a well-equipped kitchen, a private washer/dryer, a private balcony, and high-speed WiFi. You'll be only steps from the pool, close to the beach, and minutes from beautiful downtown Fernandina!

Turtle Dunes is located inside The Omni Resort at Amelia Island with 24-hour security in a private gated community.

Things to Know
Be sure to check out the newly added Pickleball Court!
There is some repair work being done on the outside of the building. There will be a lift located on the east side of the building. Expected completion is the end of summer 2025.
Trailers and motorcycles are prohibited in this community.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The pictures don't lie

The pictures and reality match exactly. Amazing property. Well cared for and updated. One of the best weeks we have ever had on the island. Between the property being as advertised and Vacasa's attentiveness....our family of four had a great experience at 1830 Turtle Dunes.

Turtle Dunes

I can’t say enough about this location. I’ve stayed in a few different units here and never been disappointed. The grounds and views are amazing and the beach and pool are so easy to access. It’s never been crowded on the beach in Spring or Fall, though I can’t speak for Summer. If you get an opportunity, it’s definitely worth a stay.

Girls trip

Great time, too short... beautiful, quiet and uncrowded.

This was a very pleasant and stress free stay. My 19 yr old son wants to schedule next year. He's not into the party scene so this was perfect for all 3 of us. It was over all very clean and nice. The drain in the master bath was not wanting to open and drain but my hubby was able to get it loose so it would drain. I think there is something not working properly with the little pull up/down drain handle. The kitchen sink drain was a bit accumulated kind of dirty but I cleaned that. Otherwise it was great as far as cleanliness. I would suggest putting lighter weight quilts or comforters on the beds. The current ones are so heavy I could hardly move them, especially on the master bed and at times was too hot and hard to move off of me and difficult to make the bed it's so heavy. Truly over all it's a great place to stay and definitely would stay again. Thank you!

Nice condo, beware the rental management company!

Be warned -- this is not a VRBO booked property. It's advertised on VRBO but only advertised; all payments, check in, and contact goes through the rental company, not VRBO, so you get NONE of the protections of using VRBO. Had I known that, I never would have booked it. The condo itself has dated furnishings and MILDEW in the master bath all over the tub and surrounding the toilet. The location is perfect, though. Vacasa, the rental company, is HORRIBLE to work with. Their customer service is sketchy at best, and multiple times when I called about the reservation the agent couldn't hear me because they were using their personal cell phones with terrible reception/coverage. They also lied to me repeatedly and refused to give me the check in info more than 24 hours in advance--not good as I was traveling and had no access to email or texts. When I called 48 hours prior to AGAIN ask for the check in info (they refuse to answer emails and snottily tell you to call them instead), they once again gave me a run-around about getting the check-in info. WHAT A MESS. I love Turtle Dunes building--nice pool, great views, perfect location. But Vacasa should be avoided at all costs.

Beachfront Condo

Ocean view was spectacular. Watched every morning sunrise from living room or bedroom. Short walk to beach, nature lover's paradise. Condo clean,nicely decorated, stocked with essentials.
