Great property for family.

We found this property to be great for a 2 night stay. The rooms are not huge, but the property is in great condition and well appointed, a nice alternative to a hotel. Beds and couch are comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and nice table for meals. We appreciated the small touches, like plenty of hooks in the bathroom and shelves for our toiletry kits. Only issue we had was with heating system, which is not adjustable by renters and must be adjusted by property management company. They were pretty responsive via VRBO messaging, but the queen bedroom became very hot the first night and we were unable to adjust it. Other than that, highly recommended property.

Great place

We stayed here for 4 days and it was a great choice. The location was perfect as it was in a quiet part of the neighborhood, the parking was very convenient. The house itself was very cozy and clean with all of the amenities and extras we needed. Overall great stay, highly recommend.

Annual fishing trip

4 of us make the trip every year. We fish out of Port Chester. The location is ideal and plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s perfect for us. I’m sure we’ll be back next year

A great place to stay

Rob's place was very clean and well supplied and was in a quiet, well located neighborhood. It was just a couple of miles from Westchester Airport and just a mile to I-95. There were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed!

The property is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures. The code entry made arrival easy. My husband, baby, and I were only there for about 14 hours, but it was great. We took a walk to the coffee shop a few blocks away then had to hit the road, but we'd stay again.

Darling house in a great neighborhood and location. This is our second time to stay and we hope it’s not our last! Easy to explore around Greenwich and easy train ride to the city!

Loves this place

Stayed here with my husband and 2 daughters for a trip to NYC and the place was perfect. The kitchen has everything you need, everything was very clean, and checkin/checkout were a breeze. We didnt mind the drive since we left late morning/early afternoon for the city. Would highly recommend.

Nicely renovated, great location

The space is lovely, clearly the kitchen and bath were recently done and look great. The location is super convenient for I-95 and trains to NYC. Parking is reserved so very easy. It’s also close to Garden Catering so stopping in for potato cones is a must. The unit is on the first floor so being sandwiched between two units was tricky with three young kids potentially making noise. Would stay here again.

This place was ok. Easy to check in. Not the place for you if you want somewhere quiet. There must have been very little insulation because we could hear the people above us walking around all day and night and could hear full conversations of people doing their laundry. The mattress in the main bedroom was lumpy and we couldn't fully shut the door to the kids room. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the ceiling had some mold spots. The a/c is controlled remotely by the owner, and the unit in the bedroom kept turning off and flashing in the middle of the night. All in all, this was not a great stay for my family.

First Time VRBO

Since it was first time with VRBO, I was a little nervous about the whole process going into it. Rob was great to answer questions and deal with both myself and my granddaughter.It was an ideal location for visiting the Hudson River Valley and along the coast to Newport. We flew into White Plains and it is just a 20 minute ride away. The apartment was clean and convenient. We only ate 3 meals in 5 days away from there. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very nice. I liked the shower soap, bath towels and hair dryer provided. Both the upper and lower units were rented and we had no problem with noise. The only suggestion would be for a full length mirror someplace as the only mirror there was in the bathroom.

Bring your own bedding.

The property is in a good neighborhood and was neat a clean. Check-in was easy. The property listing was for 5 guests. We accurately communicated there are 5 guests in our party. We arrived late and did not have bedding for our 5th guest. There was an air mattress in the closet ( and someone else’s clothing) but absolutely no bedding for a 5th guest. Our guest slept on the couch with the blanket we thankfully had in the car. Did not sleep well because the air unit in bedroom started beeping loudly and incessantly at 6 am. Unsure if this has been a problem for other guests as host asks for feedback in a private message rather than on VRBO. Asking guests not to leave their feedback on VRBO is deceptive as it undermines the intent of the feedback system. Still, the host is clear about the review he will be leaving on VRBO regarding his guests. Host also asks that guests leave a tip for the housekeeper. We paid a more than adequate fee to fairly compensate the housekeeper. Unless the host keeps this fee for himself.
