We enjoyed a restful night in this cozy cabin. The location was excellent and the privacy of the lot was very nice. It was clean and the host was responsive anytime I reached out in preparation for our trip. The only thing that was a problem for us was that the property description stated it sleeps 6 however there are only two queen beds. We did find an air mattress in the bathroom closet upstairs so we made it work but it was not ideal. Just fyi in case you are traveling with more than 4 people. We highly recommend this cabin for a cozy getaway!
We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing mornings on the deck watching nature's wonders. It was a peaceful place to lay our heads after all of our daytime adventures in the Smokies! We'll definitely be back.
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary after honeymooning in Gatlinburg. This was a perfect place to stay to get away from it all and relax in beautiful nature and to come "home" to after visiting the area attractions or a day of hiking. The owners had their home decorated for Christmas, which was an extra special treat for us, as our anniversary is a week before. They quickly responded to any questions we had via email and were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit the area.
The cabin was very clean and stocked with lots of little extras. I loved the rustic decor and all the wood. The hot tub and fireplace were so nice after a long day hiking. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 17th anniversary. This cabin isnât very private you.can see neighbors most everywhere unless you are looking out back from the hot tub.. However this is a great little cabin for small families or couples.
âA Peaceful Place To Visitâ The great Smokey Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is a peaceful place to visit. Looking through the eyes of nature the enjoyment and serenity of the forest is like a journey through space before entering the sacred gates of heaven. Blue hazy smoke drifts lazily over the mountain tops like a blanket protecting a sleepy town. Towards the east, slowly peeking over the horizon, the rising sun views the waking park and unfolds like a majestic answer to an artistâs dream. Vividly rushing creeks meander along winding mountain roads to form roaring waterfalls that seem to perish like the ends of the earth. Strolling through lush green forest, sweet chirping sounds float like a choir of angels singing.
This is proof that there is an almighty God and he does give you the desires of your heart. This was a paper I wrote in college in 1991, before we ever thought it was possible to achieve our dream of owning property. Pam & Ted Ponville
We came to the Great Smoky Mountains in 1977 for our honeymoon and fell in love with the area. Most of our family vacations were spent in this area. We always talked and dreamed of owning a log cabin one day and that dream became a reality.
Enjoying shopping for local crafts, outlet malls, antiques, & flea markets in the area. Plan a day to go ice skating at Ober in nearby Gatlinburg. We love to picnic in Cades Cove while enjoying nature & wildlife.
