New to VRBO, large family home with private pool and steps to the beach!

Home Again is a 6 bedroom 4 bath home located in the popular East Beach neighborhood. Meticulously decorated with a beautiful coastal vibe, this home is recently updated and has all that you need for a wonderful visit. Walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants. Also walk or bike to the popular village where you can spend the day shopping , dining and walking on the pier.
A private pool, new landscape and outdoor night lighting makes for a tropical paradise. Plenty of space in this sprawling home to spread out to spend quiet time alone and meet back up for dinner at the 10’ dining table that seats 10 with the nearby game table for more. The kitchen is equipped with everything a cook needs, poolside dining and a charcoal grill available for family bbq’s. The large side yard is perfect for games after dinner while others take a late night swim, there is definitely plenty to do for everyone. Puzzles and games at the game table, and long walks on the beach, a vacation here will definitely renew the soul.
Our caretaker, Will, is available for any concerns while you are here and can answer or advise anything St Simons as he is a local Island guy.
We would love to have you visit Home Again, and promise you will want to return year after year.

Family Gathering

We had a lovely stay at this SSI home away from home. For the first time in 6 years, all parts of our family were in one place for a lovely long weekend. Amy’s home was incredible! It had plenty of space, a huge dining room, and was very comfortable for us all. We especially love the sitting chairs in the kitchen. Our family believes cooking is a love language and the kitchen in the heart of the home. And the pool - with a young child and an infant, the pool could not have been more perfect with a shallow end and a built in seat across the deep end. Beds were comfy, towels and dishes were plentiful, AC was cold, showers were hot. It was a bonus that Amy had great communication throughout our trip.

Wonderful home and location

This home was in great condition and had a nice layout for a family get together—including a large dining room table! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this home and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach!

"Home Again" again please!

Amy's home was simply perfect for our group in so many ways! We have vacationed on St. Simons for over 2 decades now and this was our favorite home yet! The decor is so tasteful and the owner has thought of literally everything. The home is extremely spacious with a massive and cozy living area with ample comfy seating for our group of 7 plus several more! There are a few areas to spread out to read and relax solo. The bedrooms are lovely, large and well-appointed and we especially loved that the kitchen had every utensil and pan a cook could need! For my elderly parents, there was only 1 step to enter the home and a choice of 2 bedrooms sharing a full bath for them with no stairs involved. The particular area of East Beach where the home is located makes it feel like you almost have the beach to yourself! The pool was a great place to lounge day or evening and was simply pristine! Amy was such a gracious hostess answering any questions and always so warm and welcoming! We so enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again to Home Again!

St. Simons getaway

Beautiful house with great space for 3 groups- maybe 4. What I mean is the bathrooms are arranged in such a way each group has their own privacy. The master bedroom is large with its own bathroom. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. Two first floor bedrooms share a bathroom. Another bedroom over the garage has a private bathroom. The house is also fairly well childproofed (outlet covers and minimal low hanging breakables). The house was very clean and the pool was spotless. My kids are little and had a great time jumping in and splashing on the stairs. Plenty of pool toys in the garage and a water table. Because there are two first floor bathrooms with a walk-in shower we thought this house might work for our late 80’s grandparents to come as well. Their mobility is ok with a walker. There are steps (small ones) for all entries to the house so we brought a portable 3 foot long ramp to conquer this and had no issues for them getting into or out of the house and shower. You can also rent a beach wheelchair from Barry’s beach service and he’ll bring it to the house. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and pots and pans and all appliances work well. Washer and dryer work well. The walk to the beach is over the dunes, we found pulling a wagon over the 8th street access easier as it was a wider path. We had a great time and the house was a great place for 4 generations of our family to vacation!

Even better than Expected!!

Our family of 12 had a wonderful week at this house! We had great communication with the owner leading up to and during our stay. The property is even better than as described in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and backyard are fabulous. Everything was very clean. The house is less than 5 minutes from the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a great trip to the Island staying in this beautiful home. We had grandparents, parents, and young children on the trip. The house was great for us all. Short, easy walk to the beach. The pool was perfect for us as well. Couldn't have been a better trip.

Charming St. Simons

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming Saint Simons home. The layout was perfect, the furnishings are chic and fresh. The grounds are well-maintained as is the pool. Would highly recommend staying here. And, the owner make sure that everything is perfect for your stay
