Grannies Basement - 2 BR Private Suite below Y Mountain near BYU

My wife Nat and I are newly weds of 7 years, and since then we’ve doubled in size and each of us have a pretty cute mini-me sidekick — Bo (age 3) and Jo (age 1). We love to travel and visit National Parks as a family. Look forward to meeting new people and seeing new places!

We are excited to host any and all respectful guests to our home! We are family, child and infant friendly, as we are a family of 4 ourselves -- we are Rich, Nat, Bo (age 3) and Jo (age 1). If needed, you’ll find a high chair in the closet under the stairs, several children's books on the living room bookshelf and a backyard to run around in and get wiggles out. Upon request, we can provide your family with kids toys and a pack 'n play with clean sheets. We also provide noise machines in each bedroom to help soothe children (or adults) to sleep. As you are below us in our basement, be aware we do have a pair of toddlers and their happy feet (and occasional tantrums) living in our home.

Welcome to Grannies Basement Suite! Our home is an up-down duplex with a separate, private entrance for our basement 2 bedroom suite that is stair-free throughout and 2+ off street parking spaces!

Grannies features a large living room with a cozy indoor gas fireplace, couch, dining table, a full kitchen with all standard appliances and a bar with stools, 55 inch Roku Smart TV with streaming services available, washer/dryer in unit, two bedrooms with privacy door locks and a 3/4 bathroom (walk in shower). There are dressers for your clothes, desks for your study or remote work, and closets with hangers in both bedrooms. Upon request, we can provide an external computer monitor for your computer. There is additional storage under the stairs and on shelves in the hallway to stow away luggage or other miscellaneous things during your stay. And stay connected online with included Fiber Optic WiFi Internet at lighting quick speeds (500 MBPS) and a multipoint mesh router network for a strong connection throughout the entire unit.

Come hungry to Provo because there are many, many great restaurants — can the QR codes on the info page posted on the refrigerator to mapped out recommendations of our favorite places to eat and things to see. If you’re in need of a quick bite, we do stock pancake mix and Top Ramen for easy meals you can prepare for yourself. We have a large fridge & freezer in unit for your groceries. And for cooking, we have a griddle, pots and pans, microwave, range, stove top and provide basic cooking essentials. Feel at home in your kitchen away from home.

Bedroom #1 has a comfortable queen bed that sleeps 2. Bedroom #2 has a full size bed and a twin bed that can sleep 2-3, and we also have several foam pads for the floor available for 1-2 people that can be provided if asked for in advance. To help foster a good night's sleep, we provide clean linens, pillows and warm blankets.
