This was our first VRBO experience and the stay at this location far exceeded our expectations. The online description does not do this property justice. We were extremely impressed with the appointments in the kitchen and the attention to detail throughout the home.We highly recommend this location to anyone wanting seclusion, easy access to restaurants and shops along with beautiful mountain views. One extra plus, there is easy access to hiking trails from the backyard into a vast National Forest. The home was also stocked with anything you would need.We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

This VRBO is actually better than the pictures portray! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and all of the cookware looked new (a plus as most VRBO's have old and worn out cookware), the beds were comfortable, the backyard was exceptional and the place was spotless! It is tucked away at the end of the street in a small cul-de-sac but still close enough to restaurants, bars, coffee and grocery stores! We had a great time and plan to return again as soon as we can!!

I loved sitting on the front porch or in the living room to enjoy the view … Especially at sunset! The house is spacious and comfortable with easy access to all the trails and restaurants. My family had a very cozy and relaxing vacation.

Don’t pass this home up!

What a beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, and even better views! Our family of 5 really enjoyed this home and its spacious layout. The home was extremely clean, hot tub was perfect during the “cold” spell, and conveniently located near trails, restaurants and grocery stores (Sedonuts is less than 5 minutes away!) We would most definitely stay at this home again!

Beautiful Home, Great Location!

Home was wonderful - clean, beds super comfortable, great back yard (we did not use the hot tub), kitchen well stocked for cooking, top of the line laundry. Loved that it's right at a trail that winds up and through Airport Vortex area! Location was fantastic - easy to get into other areas of Sedona, but not right in the middle of hustle and bustle. Will absolutely return on our next adventure in Sedona!

Great property in fantastic location

The house has fantastic views, a peaceful and relaxing backyard, and an incredible location. Endless trails are literally right out the door. The master bedroom is especially nice. Being in West Sedona away from the crowds is ideal. We can't wait to stay here again. It's even better than it looks in the listing.

Beautiful house with a great view from the living room, located in a quiet neighborhood. Our dog also gives it a ten, especially the back yard. It was spotless on arrival and everything worked. Relax & Renew at this Oasis in Sedona!

Absolutely perfect home with Amazing backyard Oasis in West Sedona. Close to everything yet secluded with fantastic views. Feels like you are miles from town, yet you can easily walk to stores and restaurants. Views from every window! House itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. This home shows well in the pictures, but it's actually even better in person! Very clean, high end furnishings, quality all around. Gorgeous views from the front and a peaceful, private, quiet, fully fenced back yard. My fav might be stargazing into the dark sky from the hot tub at night! Many trails right from the back yard and with easy access starting by the end of the driveway. Private location on a cul-de-sac. Close to Airport Mesa (vortex).

Perfect location and most accurately listed. Beautiful view and so many upgrades. Comfy beds, upgraded linens, backyard with a great vibe. Don't miss out on renting this property. Family vacay with adult kids... We all LOVED it. ( we have our own rental property, so appreciated all the upgrades)

Beautiful, well equipped home

This house is very well equipped and everything is of top quality. The beds are super-comfy. The backyard is very pleasant. High quality towels are provided. The hot tub is nice. The front of the house has a beautiful view. The little nook there does not have furniture. That would be a nice addition. The only other minor suggestion would be some darker shades for the master bedroom. The sun comes up very early! It wasn’t an issue though since we stayed on east coast time. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill is very nice. Eating out on Sedona is expensive. We cooked in 6 out of seven nights. The home is conveniently located close to grocery stores. There is a hidden trailhead right next door. It’s great for a quick hike. All in all, this home is a wonderful place in a quiet neighborhood and we highly recommend it.

Just what we needed!

We would absolutely return again to this property. It was clean and spacious (both house and yard), close to West Sedona conveniences, and quietly situated next to Coconino National Forest/Carroll Canyon area. The view from the front of the house across the way to Capital Butte was amazing. We are an active family of four. It was great to access the trails for hiking and mountain biking from our front door or drive for a few minutes to any number of excellent trailheads, sights, and activities. The house offered a beautiful and quiet refuge for downtime. The landscape of Sedona is stunning and a dramatic change from that of New England. We are so grateful for the chance to visit and explore such a different corner of our country. Sedona House of the Rising Sun was the perfect home base for us.
