Welcome to our Ultra-Modern Mountain Escape. A stunning 2-bd, 1-bath couples retreat located above the prestigious Mt. Crested Butte Ski Resort. This luxurious, contemporary mountain chalet offers unparalleled views, exceptional amenities, fast WiFi and free on call transportation to the base area making it a premium destination for your summer adventure. Our surf-themed guesthouse has direct access to miles of trails .

Hosts often stay on site and can provide exclusive recommendations on restaurants, trails, transportation, and activity planning.

We are located at the end of Cinnamon Mountain Road in a quiet neighborhood in a cul-de-sac. The trailhead to the CBMR trail system is directly across the street.

Access to the guest house is down a flights of stairs but plenty of gear storage is available in a shared, mud room at driveway level. This makes it an easy to unload gear directly into the mudroom and have easy access each day. An additional private mudroom is located at the entrance to the chalet. Easy parking for one car is available right off the street on a flat driveway. Free Electric vehicle charging is also available. We welcome you to share this magical place with us!

Perched high above the Mt Crested Butte ski area, with breathtaking views of Mount Crested Butte, the Teocalli (TEO 1) guesthouse is the perfect vacation spot for nature and sports enthusiasts. Just completed in 2021, the modern TEO 1 guesthouse is the perfect location for your summer adventure.

The living room has plenty of comfortable seating to view your favorite shows on the 55 inch smart TV with surround sound. This high-tech, modern chalet has in-floor radiant heat and a whole house ventilator that provides continuous fresh mountain air. The fully-equipped modern kitchen has a precise induction range, coffee bar, microwave and dishwasher. Four comfortable stools on the peninsula make dining-in a pleasure. All windows and doors are triple pane Euro-style that offer incredible comfort, ventilation and noise control. Super comfortable beds and a luxurious bath make for a the perfect vacation getaway.

A private deck with bar-b-que grill is accessible from the master bedroom and living room. An shared outside seating area offers great views of Mt Crested Butte

One off-street parking space is available on the relatively flat driveway. A free uber-like service is available through the First Tracks app that will take you directly to the transit center at the base. From there, free busses will take you to the historic mining towns of Crested Butte and Gunnison The base area is accessible directly from the house in the summer by a walking trail (approximately 10 min). A late night bus is available right to our door to return from town. There is also a daily bus that runs between Denver and Crested Butte with rail connections to DIA.

First Tracks shuttle will quickly get you to/from the base area.

Only Positive Things To Say . . .

We visited Teo 1 with our 10 year old daughter and had a fabulous time. The unit is clean and comfortable and the ski in / ski out situation is as advertised (i.e., extremely convenient). David and Gloria are fantastic hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay. We have already booked the unit for next year.

Teocalli1 guest house

This property is conveniently located just minutes from the base area via first tracks or ski out, but can’t comment on that since we didn’t actually try it. The unit itself is well appointed and roomy enough for the two of us. Sitting on the balcony in late afternoon provides beautiful mountain and sunset views. The owners, Gloria and David, were very welcoming and gracious in offering assistance should we need anything. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Awesome location and wonderful hosts.

Cannot go wrong with this recently constructed, skiing/ski out home. Our only challenge was that we were not successful finding our way back to the home from the slopes. First time I brought my family to Crested Butte and they loved it. Will be back, this year and hopefully staying with this host again.

Amazing!

We really loved this rental and surrounding area! Dave & Gloria are fantastic hosts and property owners. This was our first time to Colorado, and Dave took the time to go on a mountain bike ride with us, to show us around. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure that all your needs are met. They even had a humidifier in the rental which we used at bedtime and gave us electrolyte powder to help us adjust to altitude. House was modern but very comfortable. Great location to resort and used the free taxi service to free bus shuttle to town. Loved having acces to a washer/ dryer, and mudroom. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Had a terrific stay at Dave and Grace’s place. Awesome MTB/eMTB access right from there front door. An internal spot to secure our bikes and access to EV charging. Highly recommend.

Best place in Crested Butte

We have stayed at this property twice. Can’t beat the location. The property itself is so well done. The owners are incredible. This is the best place in Crested Butte!

Perfect!

Adorable property in a perfect location. The new free town shuttle makes access as easy as being next to the town bus depot. The views from the property are phenomial. The beds were super comfortable, I only wish I could have slept in. When VRBOing you do not typically have a lot of contact with the hosts but in this case it was a pleasure to speak with them several times. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Crested Butte for any reason summer or winter. Thank you.

Guest house was extremely nice and clean. Had issues checking in with door codes, but was called immediately by the owner after I texted them. She was able to fix the issue quickly and comped us use of the main house hot tub. Very genuine and nice people!

Great stay in lovely guest house

First, owners Gloria and David were wonderful. They were extremely responsive when I asked for information. They wanted to make sure we had a great stay. The home is lovely, well equipped, in a beautiful and quiet location, and not too far from town. The bedding is very comfortable and the home has a cozy feel. Gloria and David were generous with "starter coffee" supply and other comforts like heated towel racks. We spent over an hour talking to them prior to leaving CB because they were so welcoming. Stay here, you'll love it.

mixed feelings

Overall pretty happy with our stay. One big negative is that I specifically screened for properties in my search on VRBO for properties that had a hot tub. The listing has "Pool & spa: Spa whirlpool" listed as an amenity. When we arrived we found out that the hot tub is private to the adjacent property. Another issue is there was a wasp nest right next to the deck and we had a wasp get inside the property on our first day. Property is very modern and its hard to beat the location but our experience left us with mixed feelings.

Bike and hiking trip with my wife. Great location. We were able to ride and hike from the house. Had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Hosts were nice and easy to communicate with…they shared trail recommendations and it was greatly appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this guest house. It is in a great location with easy walkable access to the mountain trails or coffee/ ice cream at the Mt Crested Butte base. It is as depicted in the photos with a nice size deck, fully equipped kitchen, and additional storage in the mud room just outside the entry. Our daughter used the stair landing as a WFH space for a few days (using a self-provided table/desk). We will definitely visit again!

Amazing week in Crested Butte

Wonderful getaway in Crested Butte!! This beautiful property was amazing!! Very clean, supplied with extra towels, linens, and a great kitchen to cook in! The views were fabulous….morning coffee on the porch was my favorite!! We are planning our next trip because we can’t wait to get back there!! Our hosts were great!! Friendly and helpful in every way!!

Mountain guest house

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in the summer. Very cozy guest house next to the owners home. Every thing was new and very clean. Laundry and everything we needed in kitchen made stay very convenient. Plenty of sights and activities to do in this area.

Great Crested Butte Ski In-Out Guest House!

The accommodations, location, and host were wonderful. The Guest House is newly constructed with keen attention to detail and amply equipped. I travelled to Crested Butte for a ski vacation with my daughter and son-in-law. The location was superb with easy ski in and out. Dave was a great host. He was very attentive, helpful, and informative.

Great stay!

I would highly recommend staying here. Dave and Gloria are wonderful hosts. They checked in throughout the week asking if we needed anything. The location is awesome but you need to be a skilled snowboarder or skiier to access the ski in/out with ease. The place is clean, well stocked with beautiful views. It was a great trip and we loved staying here. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Property

Had a wonderful stay in every regard. From the moment you enter from the upper entrance to the large windows with amazing views. And the nice open area to keep all your ski gear was nice. Also had another nice area just outside the guesthaus on the lower level to just keep jackets and snow boots. Really hope to make it back with more time to just relax on the deck and take in the scenery. David and Gloria were great to make sure everything was going well and we didn’t need anything. Really enjoyed talking with David about some upgrades he had in mind and hope to come back to enjoy them. Kids also had a blast making their own little slide out of the snow right next to the house. We all slept great and felt right at home. Wonderful property to get right on the slopes. Property at the end of the road so literally hopped on a small path across the street or skied a very small section of snow covered road to hit the main slope.

The guesthouse is brand new, very nice and clean, furniture and furnishings all new and modern as well. Our family were the first guests to stay at the property and from arrival to departure, communication with Gloria, the Owner was great! Immediately after booking I realized I made a mistake and she quickly helped to resolve. While we were there, Gloria and her friends helped us out quite a bit; getting our car out (got stuck in the driveway!), a few rides back and forth to the mountain and even went to get a cork screw so my wife could enjoy her wine.
