Communication with host was great. The check-in process was easy and well communicated. We couldn’t find an oven mitt and only one kitchen towel. They responded quickly and dropped off the missing items. The place was clean and well organized. The master bed was extremely comfortable. Large sinkhole on the property was fenced off but raises safety concerns. The pool and grill area unaffected. There was a lot of beach erosion. The Hosts were A and there’s not much they can do about the ocean levels.

We also appreciate the opportunity to clarify for future guests that the fenced repair area is located separately on the property and does not impact our condo, the pool and BBQ areas, or access to the beach. Maui’s shoreline naturally changes throughout the year with seasonal ocean conditions, and unfortunately beach erosion is something outside of our control, and many days we have a beautiful beach, just not during big storm swells. Very nice and clean condo. We had a few issues at the beginning and I reached out. They were resolved the same day and the hosts were very responsive and understanding. Highly recommend! The pool is beautiful and best of all its not too crowded. We will definitely be back to Kahana Sunset! My 3 year old had a blast and wont stop talking about it!

Absolutely beautiful condo. We visited as a family of 5 and it fit our group perfectly. The full kitchen has everything you need for cooking including oils and spices. The a/c in each room works great. There was lots of beach equipment available which saved us from having to rent elsewhere. The host also provided us with a pack n play and high chair for our baby. The property is immaculate and the beach front access and solar-heated pool were big highlights for the kids. The patio is perfect for eating outside and even has a retractable shade to keep the sun off. We will absolutely be returning to this wonderful spot!

This place was exactly as described in the listing. The pool and hot tub were great. It was so great to be able to sit out on the deck and watch the whales in the ocean. The view from the property especially at sunset was great. The check in process and communication with all the details was clearly communicated, in fact was sent and given to us 30 days before.

Wonderful location. Quiet, and relaxing ,great for couples . The area has small semi private beach and we saw turtles daily. The parking is a bit tricky for larger vehicles, but we managed. Would recommend.

I love this place so much! Kahana Sunset is such a peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. Everything is clean, quiet, and well maintained. Our unit, C5, has a lovely view of the pool and garden, along with a partial ocean view. You can even watch the sunset right from the balcony.The unit has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay—beach umbrellas, beach chairs, kids’ toys, floats, and more. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped with everything you need to cook, and yes, it even has fish sauce! I love you, owner! Every little detail in this unit shows how much the owner truly cares about their guests and wants them to have a great stay. Before we arrived, I contacted the owner to ask if I could order things from Amazon and have them delivered to the property. The owner was incredibly helpful and explained exactly how Amazon deliveries work there. My package arrived at the leasing office and was easily delivered to our unit. Thank you so much!One of the things I love most about Unit C5 is the parking. Your parking spot is right in front of the door, which makes everything so convenient. You can park your car, unload your luggage and groceries, and bring everything directly into the unit without having to walk far.And then there is the beach. The beach at Kahana Sunset is absolutely beautiful, clean, and peaceful. During our stay, I visited beaches in Napili, Kapalua, Honokōwai, Kīhei, and Wailea. Honestly, none of them compares to th

Very Disappointed..

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived and opened the door, we were hit with this musty, pungent, sour smell. It was so over powering that we immediately went out and purchased sprays and candles to help eliminate the foul odor. We had to spray every time we left and re-entered the condo.The upstairs lanai was so dirty with bird droppings on all the furniture and the deck. Spider webbing stretched from front to back and on furniture. We could not go out and sit or enjoy. Needed a thorough cleaning. The shower in other bedroom was a gross site. There were large amounts of mildew on the shower door and continued down to the floor. Beyond disgusting. We were a party of 4 and none of us felt relaxed or comfortable during our stay. The entire condo needed a deep clean. I wish I could send the pictures because words are just not enough.On the positive side..The furnishings were nice. It was nicely stocked with all essentials. Parking is nice, since you park 5ft. from your door entrance. The grounds and pool area were nicely kept.We met friends while there and we're invited into their condo (same building). What a difference! No smells, very clean and maintained. We were not so lucky. We did not contact anyone with our complaints, I guess we should have. But these were very obvious issues that had not been attended to in a long time. They had to be aware. If I could have made other arrangements to stay elsewhere, I definitely would have.

Great location and very comfortable accommodation!

Perfect place for kids, with the pool and little beach easily accessible. The easy entry made it great for snorkeling and swimming around! The condominium was quiet and felt like home, so was very relaxing to just hang out in or when returning back after day excursions.
