Scott House in Woodlawn - Entire Building - includes basement space

I'm sorry that you had a difficult experience Russell. I did make a mistake and thought that your arrival was the following day. As a result the house was not cleaned per my standards. These things were completed: All beds were made with fresh sheets, bathroom, kitchen and floors cleaned by me in a mad rush to provide the house to you on time. My only other option for me under the circumstance was for me to cancel your reservation. Perhaps I made a mistake by not doing that for your booking. There are a few things that you did not mention that I'd like to point out. You requested on the morning of your booking to arrive 2 hours earlier than the check-in time. Despite seeing me as you were leaving, you lied and said you had appointment and would return later without telling me your concerns. When I was finally able to reach you after messages from VRBO saying you had reported that you couldn't get into the property (another lie), I issued a full refund to you immediately without further questions and expressed my sincere apologies for the situation. It was my mistake and once again I apologize very sincerely that I placed you in the difficult situation. For others who may read this and have questions, I hope you will read other reviews that are listed here for this property and on other platforms where you can find the listing like AirBNB. This review is not an accurate reflection of how I regularly delive my property. If you have questions I hope you will ask. The space is a very nice place to stay and the greater majority of people stayimg have found it a great value.
