The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

This coastal studio is perfect for your next beach-cation! Renovated in 2023, this condo features all new flooring throughout, a completely remodeled bathroom with stand up tiled shower and new vanity, and an updated kitchen. It's well-equipped with everything you, your family, and a group of friends could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind!

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good stay, especially for the price

The only thing I will gripe about would be the sink stinking terribly… idk if it was the water after/during the storm, or the inside of the sink. It was rough. Other than that, great stay, great view

If you enjoy immersing yourself in an ashtray...

Disgusting. Completely reeks of an ashtray that's been used since 1975. Hasn't been updated in...never. Renter's business license displayed in the unit's hallway expired in May 2000. We brought our own pillows to sleep on but the smell of old cigarette smoke seeped into them over the course of our 2 night stay and we had to throw them in the garbage. Exactly where everything in that unit belongs.

Cute Suite, But Very Disappointed with Maintenance Staff

This was a great suite with newer furniture and very clean. Seemed to be remodeled recently. Was well stocked and the "gift bag" was great. Was also awesome to have the linens provided and the bed made. However, I was very disappointed when I saw the screen door on the balcony was totally removed from the tracks. I called Vacasa right away to report it. Got a call the next day and was told someone would come in a day or two. Nope. No one came. No one called. I called back twice for an update, but was told Vacasa closed it and handed it over to Golden Sands to handle. Yet, the whole week passed and it was not repaired. Was told as I was leaving that they needed to order a new door. Very frustrating since I paid for a room with a balcony to feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves at night yet wasn't able to do so. And why not just tell me the truth in the beginning instead of lying to me all week??? Not Cool.

Not terrible, but not great

My least favorite room that I've been in at this condo complex. Multiple missing slats in the blinds let sunlight in every morning at the crack of dawn. Spoke to someone about it almost daily and was never fixed. The carpet wasn't very nice, fridge has rust spots all over. Had to clean a lot of stuff before unpacking to feel comfortable. Owner didn't leave an actual blanket for the bed like they were supposed to, luckily someone downstairs at the vacasa office had a freshly cleaned one for us. We love the Golden sands overall but definitely won't be renting this exact condo again especially considering it was literally double the cost of 4 years ago. If you're gonna charge that much more, and I get it prices go up, at least maintain or keep things up.

Very disappointed!

I was so excited to rent this place. I am not sure where to start how trashy this place is. Its very very dated and everything smells. The front door its so hard to open, bathroom very dated and it always smelled. Bathtub/toilet were dirty as well. I did call and they said they would send someone to clean but i ended up cleaning it myself. The bathroom light switch i thought was gone fall in my hands each time. Carpet so old and dirty. Furniture so hard to sleep, dusty and old. Balcony very dirty and the door was so hard to slide. The fire alarm is hanging down and plastic tape has been placed to hold it. Kitchen sink was dirty and e every time you Opened the faucet it smelled. The owners really need to update this place. Outside the apartment it was even worse waiting half hour for the elevator each time. The only good thing i can say the view is great and Vacasa its pretty decent in responding. They did offer to clean it right away but it should have been done before we got there. We cut our vacation early. My husband started having back pain from sleeping in the bed. Unless this appt is renovated i do not recommend.

Wonderful Stay

Views from the balcony were terrific. Room was clean with everything you need for an extended stay. Very well done would definitely consider coming back and staying here again. The property was well kept with staff constantly cleaning and access to the beach was easy and quick. Also the two pools on the property were a fantastic option to the beach.

Nice unit great views

Nice little unit that's great for a single guy or a couple. Great views of the ocean & everything you need is already in the unit. I'll stay here again.
