Charming Home Five Minutes To The Beach, Very Close to the Aquarium & Lexington
NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. A cute mid-century home that is a walking distance from the Corpus Christi Bay and a couple of miles from downtown and the Corpus Christi Marina. Graced with hardwood floors and original characteristic period design. Very centrally located near legendary Ocean Drive. A few miles from the Texas State Aquarium, North Beach and South Padre Island beaches. Enjoy nightlife downtown and the myriad of restaurants dotted on South Padre Island Drive and the Southside. Conveniently located a mile from HEB Supermarkets.
Private, comfortable base for our checking out CC. We could not have been happier. Could very possibly schedule our next trip down here around availability of this property. It dat good
House was great, very clean, great location and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants close. Easy access to ocean and other attractions. Definitely a great place to stay.
We were so surprised to arrive to some breakfast items available for us! Which was much appreciated being that we didnât have time to stop at the store before we landed! The house was clean and spacious enough for our little family of four. Lots of kitchen items available if you need them. Beds were super comfy. Great communication. Thanks again!
As the main destination of our trip we stayed here 5 nights. Cute little setup. We chose it as itâs close to beaches weâve been to before. Super easy to find. Nice quiet neighborhood. Only thing you have to watch for is neighboring cats going on top your vehicle. Apparently they donât keep their pets in their own yards in that area. The house itself worked perfectly for what we needed. The host responded promptly to my questions and was helpful as well.
We so enjoyed this sweet abode! It reminded me of the very first home I owned as a single RN in the 1970s! If I could move this home to College Station, I would have it for if/when I become single again! But! It worked Great for my husband and I to be in Corpus for a sentimental journey "Back to our first year of marriage"! Our eldest daughter was born at Spohn Hospital in 1979 and we had such a WONDERFUL time in Corpus. God has richly blessed us. This sweet home has been a blessing to us, also! Linda Elsesser
We loved this house and how close it was to the pier, beach, and restaurants. Check in was so easy. Staying here was way better than staying at a hotel.
We loved our stay. The house was very clean and comfy. The area was quiet very peaceful. Everything was close, the ocean, stores. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. And the price was good too.
Great clean house close to both tennis facilities. Loved the front yard landscaping and curb appeal. Close to the beach as well. AC kept us cool and comfy beds.
Defiantly would stay again.
The location of the house is nicely situated in a nice and quite neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the ocean. Sugarbakers, a local restaurant and bakery, just down the street nestled among the neighborhood has great food and desserts and great service. If I was staying in Corpus Christi again, I would stay here.
I am a registered nurse with extensive experience in critical care. I am also a scuba diving instructor, a triathlete, a baker, cook, a conservationist and a world traveler. I enjoy classical music particularly classic operas and works of Beethoven, Bach and Mozart. I also love meeting different people of different backgrounds and love to learn and experience different cultures. I enjoy life to the fullest and maintain a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and regular exercise. I love gardening and homemaking and I try to reflect my love of life in my own little home. I always strive to get my home to reflect that joy in life and my guests to experience the beauty of life in simple, minimalistic yet fulfilling and sublime means.
My home has a lot of character inside and out. The mid-century interior has been wonderfully preserved along with hardwood floors and endearing lines. It is minimally decorated with some of my athletic and traveling memorabilia. The garden is self-sustained with local flowers and plants that are fertilized only with composted materials. The backyard is huge and has a beautiful old oak tree that provide a very peaceful and tranquil natural canopy, providing a haven for birds and a wonderful respite area in the summer heat. The flowers attract a multitude of butterflies and bees. It is an awesome ecosystem on its own.
The home is wonderful for families, for people who want to work in a home away from home; for those who love the Coast and itâs beaches, seafood, Tex-Mex food, water sports, and for people who just want to have a place to relax in a very safe neighborhood.
