We had a wonderful stay. The property offered everything we needed. Communication with the property owners was wonderful. We really enjoyed this rental.
We were 11 adults and 2 young children. We all had a great time. House and grounds are great and as advertised with few normal rental maintenance issues. The few we had were addressed very promptly by the owner. We would consider renting again.
We came from 8 states to gather for family fun. The property had everything we wanted or needed for a reunion. The location is beautiful and the property has many amenities. We loved gathering outdoors for meals, games, swimming, etc. We enjoyed the wildlife including various birds, deer, fox, rabbits, etc. our host was very accessible to answer questions and provided information about the area.
We had a group of 15. Bedrooms adequate for all. Spacious rooms on all 3 floors. Pool was a big plus and used every day. Pool table was a big asset. Beautiful sunset every evening, A place to relax and make family memories. Had an incident with the roof leaking during a torrential downpour. Informed host and said they would deal with issue.
Exactly what we were looking for to bring our large family together for a week. Great house with an amazing, private location. Sitting at breakfast and counting bald eagles became a game for the kids and pictures of the sunset from the pool were stunning. Our hosts were great and suggested restaurants for our one excursion to town. Highly recommended
We had multiple families stay at this property and it was absolutely perfect. The deck is shady in the
mornings for breakfast. Afternoons at the pool and evenings for sunsets down at the river. Wee took daily walks around the property and quiet road. The house had everything we needed and had plenty of rooms for multiple families to spread out. This is one of our favorite homes!
To say that we enjoyed our vacation is an understatement. Our expectations of the home and locations were surpassed by leaps and bounds. We loved the house, the pool, the location, well...we loved everything!!!! My family has been getting together for over 15 years to have reunions. We move around all the time and try different homes and locations. The experience at Earlville is in our top 3. Be nice to yourself and rent this unbelievably gorgeous home.
We are from Central Pennsylvania! Nate is into all things Real Estate and Philly Sports. Jackie was an elementary teacher for 16 years, now a SAHM and managing our favorite place-- Cherry Grove Manor!
Cherry Grove Manor is a little piece of heaven! This colonial style home is set on 16 acres of land along the Elk River. One of our favorite parts of this area is the drive down Cherry Grove Road just before entering the gated driveway. You are sure to spot many different types of wildlife within the wooded tree area and the vast farm land that lines the road.
Our home was built in the 1990's inspired by the colonial era. The builder reclaimed many historical pieces to use inside the home as well as around the grounds. For example, the lights lining the drive were old Philadelphia street lights and the railing around the back patio was reclaimed from a Philadelphia Public School. If you look closely you will see the PPS on the railing. These are some of the details that make Cherry Grove Manor such a special place.
