Island Surf is a two story beachfront complex that offers the privacy of only eleven units. Centrally located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin on Okaloosa Island, this prime location is a short drive away from shopping, dining, attractions and much more! This quiet family-oriented white sand beachfront complex offers all the comforts of home and everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the Emerald Coast. The living room doubles as the sole bedroom of the one-bedroom, one-bath studio, with a plush king-size bed and sofa bed sleeping four guests total. The Studio is located at ground level and just steps away from the private pool and the beautiful beach. Free use of community laundry room onsite.

Family Vacation 2023
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Legacy Vacation it has been a family tradition for many years. We had not been to Legacy Condo the past 3 years due to Covid . This year 2023, the family traveled from SC , Tn , Al to Ft Walton Beach and we rented 5 Legacy units June 3-10 . I stayed in the efficiently unit I had stayed in the past and members of the family stayed in 1 and 2 bedroom units. This year I encountered a number of problems with the efficiency unit . First, the wifi internet password given at check in was not correct and had to call the office ' they informed us the wifi router had been changed to Cox and gave the new password. We could not get the TV to work and had to ask for help setting it up. All very frustrating to deal with on the first day . The coffee pot was would not work during the stay . The electric stove top was difficult . One member of the family had a flat tire in the parking lot in front of their condo unit. They had to take the flat off and take it and find a tire repair . They found a screw in the tire and it had to be patched and changed out. They were without a car for 3 days . The family checked out the parking lot and we all found similar screws in the front parking lot and back grass area from on site construction. We worried they might have a blowout with the patched tire on the Interstate with the long drive home to Charleston with children . Another member of the family found a flat tire the day after the drive back home to Memphis. They could have had a blowout on the Interstate with a car load of children Scary ! A neighbor in the upstairs unit told us the day he checked in his unit the HVAC was not working. He was sleeping on the outside porch . It took 2 + days before AC repairman came to the unit .

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was perfect for 2. Right by the pool and short walk to the beach. Mostly a nice place for the price but there was a few roaches we saw (alive and dead) as well as a lizard inside the unit. Overall nice stay for the price.

The beach was nice and clean and not crowded at all loved it.
