Beautiful one bedroom Casita with gorgeous views situated on a 40 acre tract of property in the high desert, just 25 minutes away from the main entrance to the Grand Canyon. The Casita comes with a kitchenette, private outdoor patio and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The unit is equipped with a wood burning fireplace for cozy cold nights and a mini split to keep cool in the hot Summers. The Casita is built on a tiny house model and is eco-friendly. There is a Commons are with a seating area, indoor dining area and an outdoor dining patio where you can relax, mingle with guests or unwind after a day of exploring the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casita. The space was comfortable and inviting, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening under the lights. The kitchen had just enough for us to prepare dinner and breakfast. It was a relaxing stay!
The casita was great location to get to Grand Canyon easily. Beautiful views of mountains while sitting outside after long days of hiking. The road to the casita is a bumpy dirt road. Best to have suv type vehicle to clear the ruts and take your time .
Iâm This place could have been excellent. For what we paid per night we expected better. Pros: night sky, fireplace, comfy bed, views, 30 minute drive to south rim, private/quietCons: 2 miles of VERY rough road, unit lacking basic kitchen amenities, small space,
Overall, a very nice accommodation in a quiet countryside location. The bed is a bit small by American standards but still comfortable. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi and hot water in the bathroom didnât work. The host was unreachable by phone or text, so we had to manage without hot water and Wi-Fi, which was quite frustrating.
The property itself is lovely, the tiny home style is perfect for an intimate weekend away from the noise, lights, and action of humanity. The sheer expanse of high desert surrounding the property is fantastic providing excellent views of the sunrise/sunset and stargazing.
To the south you can see the mountains near Flastaff and there are sufficient amenities to allow a weekend of quiet solitude.
This location provided exactly what was looking for with a clean modern home-ish experience with the solitude of a camping trip.
*NOTE: the warning about needing a high clearance vehicle is not exaggerated, the roads were dry approaching the location, but significantly rutted/rough.
This little house will allow you to relax and get some rest from crowds and city noise. We spent two really good days and liked the difference from traditional stays. Its good sometimes to go far and watch the stars
The owners communication is outstanding. Small place. Bed was extremely comfortable. No problem at all with hot water, its really hot. All in all its a nice place with outdoor space too. Really quiet!!!!!
The Owners built the Property in the middle of the Pandemic with building and labor shortages. We believe we have a great concept, and want to share with others who would like to visit The Grand Canyon and surrounding areas.
