The space is a newly remodeled 2-bedroom unit with a full kitchen. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a fold out twin. The child and infant friendly second bedroom is equipped with 1 full-sized bed and a twin trundle underneath as well as a pack-n-play. There is a small patio in the front of the unit with a table and chairs to enjoy a coffee outside in our year-round beautiful weather. It's quiet while still being close to the South Park energy with the hippest bars, restaurants & boutiques.

The perfect place for traveling families, with all ages! Clean, bright and comfortable.

Guest access:

Self check in with a door code. Free & easy street parking out front, with plenty of Ubers, scooters and more nearby.

Interaction with Guests:

We care about your stay! We are a local family and live right next door. Please text the number provided any time and we'll help you out with whatever you need. We pride ourselves on knowing our city, so don't hesitate to reach out for recommendations as well!

Other things to note:

Please note the property is one side of a duplex. There may be another guest on the other side during your stay. There is a shared wall, so please be respectful, and if quiet hours aren’t being respected at 9pm, contact us for an immediate response.

There are 10 steps to the front door. We have security cameras around the exterior of our home. The house is in the flight path so there is airplane noise outside, which is negligible with the windows closed. We live close by and are very responsive, so contact us for anything you need!

Easy and Comfortable

Cute place in a calm neighborhood. Our family of four, with a toddler and a preschooler, were very comfortable and enjoyed being so close to Balboa Park and downtown. Hosts were helpful.

Amazing experience all around!

This was our first time in San Diego. I wasn’t sure about the South Park area, but it was fantastic! Very cute and trendy with great restaurants nearby. Close enough to bike downtown, yet located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. You can hear the planes as noted in other reviews, but don’t let that stop you from booking here! Extremely responsive and helpful hosts- would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a central location to all activities in San Diego!

Fabulous property.

This property was excellent and finished to a very high standard throughout. The hosts have considered every detail and the property has literally everything you might need. It is beautifully presented and spotless. Phil was also prompt and super helpful with any questions I had. South Park is a wonderful location with lots of great restaurants and bars. Great week !

Great location

Location was key. Easy access to freeways, very close to Balboa Park/zoo and almost walking distance to a very cool area of Golden that has a neighborhood Target, cool restaurants and shops, etc. Yes, the house is in the flight path as all homes in the area so you heard planes but with windows closed it wasn’t an issue. The homeowner was very very responsive and we appreciated that very much! One thing to note is there is no dishwasher. But wasn’t an issue for us. Second thing to note is the home is smaller which isn’t a big deal if your point is to play around town all day. A recommendation I have is to install a tan in bathroom. If multiple people taking showers, the bathroom is tiny and it can get quite wet and humid in there without a fan. Additionally, a fan noise can help a bit with privacy since sound carries in the small home.

It is worth the money

We stayed Here for three days. House is small but comfortable, with a nice Shower and a small Little garden. House was super clean and host was always available: Thank you. Unfortunately there are Planes approaching also in late Hours so it is very noisy unless you Close the Windows. Second Bed is for ‘not tHat tall’ guys or girls

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Phil's bungalow. The neighborhood seems very safe and there's plenty of parking available at all times of the day. The location is close to all major attractions and getting back at the end of the day is easy. It's right under the flight path, but so is our house and our kids LOVE airplanes, so it didn't bother us at all. Washer/dryer and central air are crucial for us, so this was the perfect spot. We'll book again on our next trip!

Perfect stay

This property was perfect for a weekend trip to San Diego. There were 5 adults in my party and there was plenty of room for everyone. Exceptionally clean and easy to communicate with hosts as they kindly check in periodically. The location was great with tons of great restaurants nearby too.

Nice location and quiet neighborhood

We enjoy our stays at South Park. Phil is a very good host and supportive if you need anything. Location is good for all nearby attractions and quiet neighborhoods. So good quality of sleeping as well.
