Modern Rustic Cabin Family GetAway

Our cabin is not a place to stay while you are on vacation... our cabin is the vacation. You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind.

Are you looking for a cozy, and quiet get-away spot to rest and relax? SereniTree Cabin is the perfect spot! Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien, WI and Ferryville, WI, this A- frame cabin gets you within 5 minutes from the river but allows you to be tucked back in a quiet wooded area. (Please note that there is about a mile of gravel that is maintained in order to get to the cabin. The driveway is gravel and a bit steep. During the winter it would be best to have AWD or 4WD) Enjoy your morning coffee in the outdoor room while you watch the deer and birds and relax by the fire table at night. There is plenty of space at SereniTree for enjoying.a movie or family and friends game night! Cabin is best suited for 4 adults. The loft has a king sized bed, then there is also pull out sleeper sofas (Queen beds) in the upper and lower living room. The bedroom downstairs can be set up either with a king sized bed or two twin beds. It is always set up as a king unless the guest specifies they would prefer it as two twins.

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay at SereniTree. We had plenty of room for our three teenage boys. It was very peaceful. Kitchen had everything we needed to have meals at the cabin. We ran out of dishwasher detergent, but Heidi was great about providing more. Our sons appreciated the coffee bar! We enjoyed playing games in the room on the deck in the evening. We saw several deer around the cabin.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. It was very clean, well decorated and very serene and quiet. We felt like we were tucked away in our own little private forest. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach. Overall an excellent place to stay. We will for sure stay here again!

The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the large and numerous windows. The outdoor deck provided a relaxing, private space to enjoy the wooded surroundings. We would love to stay again!

SereniTree Cabin

The place was cooler than the pictures. Tucked way back in a private community was very cool. Great view of the timber and the animals. Our only complaint is that the remotes need labels, I know first world problems right!! You will not be disappointed with this cabin or the views.

Cozy getaway

This little cabin is wonderfully located nestled in the woods. So quiet and peaceful. A lot of wildlife in the woods in the back of the house. The egg swing chairs were an added bonus for taking in the sunrise and bird watching. This was a much needed sisters weekend and this cabin was cozy, had all the amenities and such a relaxing place.

Cozy Cabin

We chose the coldest three days of the year to travel, so we stayed inside. I received a text from the host that the cabin was ready early if we wanted to get there sooner. I called it cozy, but that was for the atmosphere; the cabin is quite roomy. It had everything we needed for comfort. We brought food and there were ample dishes, pots, pans, etc. We read, knitted, played games (learned Uno Flip provided in cabin), watched the deer out back, enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. It was so relaxing. We would love to return when the weather is a bit nicer to enjoy some outdoor activities.

Wonderful Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful time on our trip and it was nice to come back to a cozy, clean, and beautiful cabin after long days of sightseeing. Check in was super simple, and the cabin had everything we needed to relax and unwind.

Vous êtes reçu par Kevin and Heidi Bohr

Kevin and Heidi have been high school sweethearts and have been married for 25 years. Heidi grew up in Decorah, Iowa and Kevin in Ossian, Iowa. We live with our family of 6 in Ossian, Iowa. Our oldest four children (William, Dawn, Sami, and Anita) came to us via foster care. We opened our homes and our hearts and we were blessed to welcome them into our family. Then came our son Trevin also via a foster care placement and finally came our youngest Ella. Kevin hauls mail for the US Postal Service and Heidi works as an PrK-8th grade school social worker. Our family is a super busy family and decided that we need a quiet and relaxing place to go as a family and as a couple.

Kevin and I bought a small cabin right around the corner from this one a few years ago. We have enjoyed getting to stay and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life at it. We have enjoyed sharing it with others and decided we wanted to build a larger cabin for families and friends to make memories together at. It has been a year long labor of love and we are so excited to share it with you! SereniTree Cabin is the perfect spot for you to enjoy each others company and nature. Let us help you unwind and give you a cozy comfy place to find SereniTree!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

SereniTree Cabin is about 5 minutes from the River. It is fairly secluded and offers a great place to get away. Besides its modern rustic decor it also has a very unique feature. SereniTree offers a jetted soaking tub in a separate space just outside of the basement family room. It allows you to relax in a serene and peaceful area and truly escape it all. If you have been out on the river or out hiking during the day and you want a quick shower before heading inside you can step in there and shower off as well.
