2nd stay in Gatlinburg

The first time we came to Gatlinburg we rented a cabin. The condo’s with this provider are much more accommodating. We saw bears every day of our stay. If you are a smoker I highly suggest this provider. Smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms but you can smoke on the balcony and anywhere outside.

Mother and Son Getaway

My son and I had a fabulous stay! It’s his senior year, and we decided to take a long weekend getaway with just the two of us. The condo’s location was perfect — the view of the mountains was amazing, and the amenities were great. We loved swimming in both pools and relaxing in the hot tub. The condo was clean and stocked with all the essentials we needed for our stay.All of our day trips were within 20 to 30 minutes, which made it so convenient. We went hiking at Fox Fire, enjoyed dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, and did plenty of shopping and sightseeing in Gatlinburg. In the evenings, we loved winding down and watching a series together at the condo — a quiet, cozy way to end each day.This trip gave us some truly special memories before my son starts his last year of high school. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve decided to make it an annual tradition and plan to stay here again in the future.

Good for watching bears …

There are few things which were unsaid about the property.. 1. It’s a steep drive and I would advice at least the first visit to be in daytime. Also it’s little tricky to get there as we were lost two days in a row. 2. The property doesn’t have an elevator and it’s one flight up, so if you have luggage or coolers you are on your own. 3. Garbage is always overflowing and you can’t leave trash outside due to bears, so maybe they should have more garbage cans. 4. Not enough places nearby for quick groceries, eating or gas. 5. This is more photoshopping or foto angles I guess, the living area and balcony are smaller than what they appear in pictures. Now things that can be improved: 1. Have kitchen towels or napkins stocked. 2. Have supplies to refill bathroom tissues and trash covers. 3. Have at least the number of towels/blankets as the guests. 4. Make sure all the lights are functional. 5. Clean the outdoor furniture. 6. I see this as work in progress as I see signs of upgrades as well as signs of old property, like the closet doors were flimsy and one of them came off. The bathroom flooring had gaps between the floor and walls and the bugs were crawling in when the light was off. Things that were nice; 1. Manager was approachable and accommodating for late checkout. 2. We saw bears everyday throughout our stay from our balcony.
