Serene & Charming Riverfront house just outside of Elkhorn & Omaha

Hello! So happy you loved our place and had a great time! As texted in our welcome message, we keep staples in the house like milk, eggs, ketchup, etc for our guest to use ❤️ and, as also stated in the messages, the trash cans in the garage are hauled after your departure. 👍🏼

Let me start with this house was, is & always has been a nonsmoking home. We have never had one person in the two years of renting it say they have smelled anything of the sort so it was shocking to hear this from her. We responded within minutes of the renters complaint. Me, my husband & my teenage daughter went over there immediately but they were gone. None of us smelled any smoke. We then asked a neighbor over & they smelled nothing but laundry detergent & cleaner in the house. We then proceeded to open all the windows, bring in two air purifiers, change the AC filters & clean the AC unit to clear whatever smell the renter didn’t care for. I tried for days to get a hold of her, sending countless messages, to see if the house was then to her liking & she never came back or responded the whole rental week! We spent hundreds of dollars to try to appease her nose & she only respond a week after checkin to say that she was “too busy” to respond & that she wanted a full refund. Vrbo & I talked it out & they said she sounded like a scammer that wanted out of her rental commitment at the last minute and made up something to try to get a refund.
