This updated 1920's bungalow is the perfect home away from home. It's located in Sunset Heights, less than 5 mi. from Downtown and less than 10 mi. from the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical complex. Get a neighborhood feel while still only being a short distance away from all Houston has to offer, tons of restaurants, local bars, farmers markets, shops, etc. The Li’l Blue Bungalow is fully furnished with 5-star amenities, a yard, securely gated and has a detached 2-car garage.

Great place to stay. Kaitlin was very helpful with recommendations for neighborhood food and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bungalow was very clean and had all we needed, plus had lots of cute touches—in good taste.

This vrbo was located in walkimg distancw to the Farmer's Market, backery, restaurants and in a safe neighborhood. It was very clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Big would recommend this vrbo to everyone.

Delightful Houston home

We loved our stay in the little blue bungalow! We were in Houston for a week over Christmas, visiting family in the area. The house is charming, well appointed, and centrally located. Secure garage. Nice plantings and tasteful seasonal decor. Loved the front and back porch, too

Long Weekend at the Lil' Blue Bungalow

Two of us came to visit with a long-time friend in Houston. this house gave us the perfect place to visit, talk, plan, and just relax! I have stayed in many VRBO rentals all over the country, and this little house is by far the most comfortable, well-supplied and fun, with great eclectic furniture and comfy beds.

This was the cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever rented. It was very cozy and well appointed. It was easy to Uber to and from activities. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the Heights. Communication with the owner was informative and timely.

One of the best!

This is my second stay at Li'l Bungalow. This location is amazing. The house is extremely clean with comfortable beds, towels and bed linens. This location provides all the little things such as shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, trash bags and even a basket of snacks. We have stayed over 20 VRBOs and this one is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Extremely clean, comfortable and impeccably decorated. So many wonderful touches, from small what-not trays to wall decor to the wonderful hardwood floors. Everything was totally first class. And Kaitlin was a pleasure to deal with. Could not have been more pleased.

We were looking for a location near our daughter’s house and this was perfect. Cost was only a little more than staying in a hotel and so much nicer! Loved that we could park in the garage. Very nicely updated/decorated. Kaitlin always responsed to the few stupid ?’s I had quickly. Everything you need to know is in the book that I didn’t read (Lol). Great stay!

Birthday Vacation with Family

We loved our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the interior is decorated and each room is better than the other. The neighborhood is very quiet but a short drive to nearby restaurants and stores. We especially loved the privacy of the garage and fenced yard. This place is a treasure to find near the Heights in Houston!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. The photos do not do justice to the beautiful interior, which is beautifully decorated, with each room surpassing the others. The neighborhood is very quiet, yet it's just a short drive to nearby restaurants and stores. We particularly appreciated the privacy offered by the garage and the fenced yard. This place is truly a hidden gem near the Heights in Houston!

Clean & Cozy with the Best Beds

Kaitlin’s Blue Bungalow was so great for our weekend in Houston! The house felt cozy and inviting—it was like being hosted by friends! The house was also immaculately cleaned (better than many nice hotels). However, the best part was the beds! I’m a nitpicky sleeper, but I slept wonderfully here! The bedding was plush and comfortable, and Kaitlin provided a variety of pillow types. My partner slept amazing as well! We will definitely be booking the Lil Blue Bungalow for our next trip to Houston!

The pictures, reviews and amenities were NOT exaggerated by others. This place is wonderfully comfortable. The beds were beyond just nice. Loved the weighted blanket. No surprises whatsoever. Surprisingly quiet, loved it! If we’re ever in Houston and need a place to stay
