French Quarter Home, One Block to Frenchmen St, Private Courtyard
Our sophisticated shotgun style home is conveniently located near the French Quarter & only one block to Frenchmen St/Esplanade Ave; highly walkable, fun, active area! Unwind in your private courtyard with the sound of Jazz bands in the distance. Several parking options in the area; free, metered/paid. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee you will find free parking due to the activity of the French Quarter.
Original pine floors, exposed brick and high ceilings throughout.
Upon booking you will have full, private access to the main portion of the home which includes all of the following: 2 private bedrooms each with a king bed, bathroom which is located in the common area and has walk-in shower (no tub). Living room and kitchen that is fully stocked with cooking essentials and coffee/creamer for your morning cup of Joe! There is a washer and dryer inside the home you are welcome to use (detergent is provided). The living room and each bedroom have Smart TVs.
When booking our home you will not only be in an ideal location with both Frenchmen St and Esplanade Ave being only ONE BLOCK away, but you will have your very own private courtyard to relax and unwind in after a long day of sightseeing and beignet indulging! Let the distant sounds of Jazz bands have you saying "Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!"
More about the area: We are situated on Royal St just a few doors down from "R Bar" and Royal Sushi. With so many restaurant and bar options all within walking distance you won't lack entertainment options! Snug Harbor, Port of Call, The Maison, The Spotted Cat, Three Muses, Marigny Brasserie, Royal Sushi, Horn's Eatery, Italian Barrel, Balcony Music Club (Just to name a few! ). Along with the outdoor French Market, Decatur St and the Riverfront Streetcar being only 4 blocks away. Bourbon St is 2.5 blocks away and then 4 more blocks down Bourbon to the action/nightlife!
Due to the activity of the area, the front bedroom may experience street noise, for this reason earplugs are provided for light sleepers.

Amazing location and great hosts
The property managers were super helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions before and during our stay. There was a ton of space for our group of 6 and everything was super clean. The location is unbeatable with easy access to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street while still feeling safe. Highly recommend booking a dinner with Chef Tiger as well as the meal was one of the highlights of our trip!

Fun stay in New Orleans!

A Merry Christmas!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this delightful little house in a great neighborhood. Christina was super responsive at all times, decorated the home for Christmas and even provided holiday tableware! Thoroughly recommended for a wonderful vacation.

Pleasant getaway in the Marigny.
The home was just as described. The host was attentive and gracious. The front bedroom is right on the street and can get a little loud in the evenings would be the only negative. We would stay there again.

My friends and I stayed here no it was a great location for all of us. We did not have a car and all the spots you wanted to be were in walking distance. This is a great house with. Lot of character be charm.

The perfect spot
We were in NOLA celebrating a friends birthday and were very happy with this space. The location was great - easy to get to restaurants and nightlife and shops. The apartment itself was a very nice size, very clean, and quirky filled with cool art and furniture. We enjoyed the common areas - living room, kitchen, and outdoors - and easily slept 5 in the three bedrooms. The front bedroom is right on the street so don’t put your light sleeper in that room! I would stay here again the next time I find myself in New Orleans, and highly recommend for a group.

Charming and Convenient
We came for my 32 birthday and the place was so charming inside! It was perfect for my friends and I. Everything was in walking distance for us and Christina checked in a few times to make sure we were comfortable. They were AMAZING hosts! Thank you Christina!

Perfect NOLA Getaway!
This home was a perfect home base for all activities. So close to great music on Frenchman Street and the French Quarter.
Home was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. We felt very safe walking in the area.
Best part of the stay was meeting Chef Tiger on our first night for a Five Course Creole Cooking experience... amazing food, great family and New Orleans history.
Thanks for letting us enjoy this beautiful home!

Mini French Quarter!
We absolutely loved our stay. The place was beautiful and the host was quickly responsive. When we noticed the coffee pot was dysfunctional, we had a replacement within the hour! It was the PERFECT getaway for a group of friends. We were far enough away from the French Quarter to get some sleep and chill on the patio but close enough to walk to the action. And within the surrounding couple of blocks to the home, there were wonderful bars, restaurants and shops… a mini French Quarter just outside the French Quarter. We will definitely be back. It had everything we needed and more!

Memorable week on Royal St
The property is located steps from Frenchman St and a couple blocks from all the action in the French Quarter. Chef Tiger cooked up a storm and fed us the best food of the whole trip Saturday night. Highly recommend having him take you on a Creole journey. The outdoor patio is a perfect space for a night cap or to sip your coffee in the morning.this property is all you want when visiting NOLA. Thanks Chef Tiger!

Perfection!!
We had a WONDERFUL time in this lovely New Orleans home! The proximity to everything made our stay just perfect - the park, authentic neighborhood strolls, amazing restaurants, music, the local artist market - all just steps outside our door. Within a few minutes walk is the fun and bustling French Market, with Jackson Square and the Riverfront just beyond. We didn't want to leave!!

Birthday Weekend with the Girls
Had an amazing time in New Orleans and in this house. The host and the owner are both very responsive. They were nice and very accommodating to us during our stay. We were able to leave our luggage a couple extra hours after check out. They house was very nice and inviting. Bigger than expected. Walking distance to everything. Will visit again when I'm back in New Orleans.

Fun in NOLA
This property is beautiful, perfectly located for walking to many restaurants, bars, and tourist areas. Very clean and welcoming. Felt extremely safe too. Christina was great to work with and very accommodating to our group. Only drawback if you are a light sleeper is the street sounds at night. However, she provides earplugs - so thoughtful - and the noises quiet down. It was a delightful stay.
