Grrwt location for fun, bare bones for a beach vaction rental.

This was a great location but lacked nesscary items needed for a beach vacation. No pool or beach towels or even anytjing for the beach like a chair or umbrella. We flew and certainly did not pack beach towels. We expected them to be in the unit. No coffee filters either for the coffee maker.

Best bang for your buck!

Perfect unit for a couple or family with two kids. It's on the beach and a smaller condo building. Beach area not so crowded. Very convenient to great restaurants. And less than a mile from a Walmart and Publix.

Not Bad at all

Overall was not bad. Everything worked and bed was comfy. Had a good view of the beach! Pool was under construction but looked like it will be nice once complete.

The access was great…doesn’t show u how to use tv in bedroom would need to have note how to get unit in living room to move to bedroom. Other then that room was great

We enjoyed our stay.

It was right on the beach, which was beautiful. The ice maker didnt work and the pool wasnt up and going. The kids were very disappointed with that.

Spend extra money.

Don’t ruin you beach vacation by booking this room. Spend extra money and stay somewhere you will be comfortable. Mold on the ceiling in the bedroom was just one on a list of problems.

Good place to stay

Clean and comfortable no extra frills condo and it’s a good place to stay for the price. Tradewinds is in a great location and the condo has a wonderful view to watch the waves and beach from the gulf front balcony. The elevators are so fast, and the condo has a nice washer/dryer and a granite kitchen countertops. Shower curtains looked new. Bring all your own condiments and kitchen towels as there were none available, just a new kitchen sponge and paper towels. We would stay again as we had a pleasant stay.

Quiet & Clean

Beach front property was what got me. Loved! Right on the beach. Easy access. Small property so that means less people and quieter building which was nice. The only thing was a bit of a eye roll is that the master has a window that faces the hall and elevator SO every time the elevator is used and reaches it’s floor you hear the DING loud and clear when you are in bed starting early. But it’s no deal breaker. The tv in the master also didn’t work but honestly that didn’t bother us because we only watched tv one time out 2 days we were there. Overall we were very pleased and recommend.

Terrible!

My wife and I have been traveling to OB for the past 15 years. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. The condo was horrific, nothing was as advertised. Unit was old and worn, walls and baseboards were scuffed and one baseboard was rotted through. Caulking at vanities, bathtub, shower and toilets were all dirty (black and rust colored) Furniture was again old worn and uncomfortable. Also a leak in the bedroom ceiling appeared to have black mold growing. Final issue was construction was going on during our stay and was not mentioned on the site or during booking process. We contacted 1-800 # and were told we would be contacted by look management. This never happened. We contacted them 5 days in a row without any resolution.

Great location, old condo

I had a hard time finding any information about this condo before we booked it for vacation so here are some details you might like to know ahead of time. This condo was clearly purchased by someone that tried to put some lipstick on something that needed a total renovation. Pros: right on the beach with a nice balcony view, heated pool (a huge bonus since we had a cold spring break visit), Roku tv in the living room, updated living room furniture, washer and dryer(Very small but functional) Cons: the bathrooms are old and kind of gross, the kitchen is functional but very old and tired looking, the light in the master was out and they never came to fix it after putting in a ticket so it was like a dungeon in there, they did not provide a hairdryer or any extra trashbags or coffee filters (not a huge deal but would have been nice to know ahead of time) Overall, we liked this complex but would never stay in 603 again unless it was much cheaper than any other unit. We had friends staying on different floors and their units had been updated and were MUCH nicer.

Nice facility, good location

We’ve stayed @ this location several times and like Orange Beach. Lots of great restaurants between Orange beach, Gulf Shores, and Per Dido Key.

Could be better

Worst check in situation ever had. The code sent through my email was wrong. Called Vacasa and the girl gave me 3 different codes to try and did not work. She said someone will be there within 30 mins. Wife and kids waited for 50 mins outside the door and no call nor any help. Called Vacasa again and spoke to a different girl. She gave me the code and got in with no problem. First girl was useless. The place was not as clean as the prior review mention. Floor feels dirty, vanities and hallway baseboard have rot with water damages. If the owner read this review, next time you get need flooring, get the LVP flooring and not the regular laminate floor. You can see see water expansion at the joints. Place have new table and chairs and new paint job. Everything else was older and need update.

Excellent view, cold AC, easy parking, quick access to beach and pool. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay! Called the first day because the shower head in the shared bathroom broke off. Never heard back from Vacasa and had to share the master bathroom shower for 5 people during the duration of our trip.

Last minute beach trip

My husband and I decided to head to the beach on Christmas. I looked for places to stay during the drive down. We arrived at the condo around 9PM. It was roomy and clean. The bed was disappointing. The mattress was barely a step above a sofa sleeper. The next morning the property manager came by and brought our parking passes and asked if there was anything we needed. I informed her the TV was not working and she had it replaced in a couple of hours. She was amazing. If she had replaced that mattress, I would have sworn she was an angel in disguise. 😀 All in all, we had a great trip.
