One-Bedroom condominium with Atlantic Oceanfront views. The private balcony on the 2nd floor offers breathtaking Sunrise ocean views! There is a kitchen with kitchenette, 2 stove, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator/freezer, 1 bathroom, King bed in the bedroom and 1 sofa bed (queen-size) and Couch which you can use as a Bed in the leaving room Area. Great for a couple or couples with kids. The condo is located inside a resort that resides yards away from Ormond Beach, just inside N. Daytona.
Overall we had a nice stay, some minor things like more washcloths available would have been helpful. Location was good for the plans we had in the surrounding area.
This older condo was exactly as described, pools closed due to hurricane damage as clearly stated in listing. Corner unit Balcony has a great ocean view and building is close to beach access. Unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Beach was quiet (a little north of the boardwalk) made for a very relaxing stay.
We liked it but we were under the impression that besides the pullout couch there was another couch and there is not. Could be a little updated but we would stay there again.
Place looked like dump. Trash all over the grounds. Not to mention we didnât realize the pools were closed until a couple days before arriving. The exterior doors had huge caps in them. I guess itâs alright for a spring breaker but not me. Wont happen again!
If I could give zero stars I would.
Donât fall for the false advertising photos. The photos need to be updated to what the facility actually looks like. Also upon arrival we found out all amenities were closed, and have been for over a year. The condo was dirty, had dirty dishes that someone neglected to clean, and had inadequate supply of towels and toilet paper.
Highly recommend not booking your vacation here.
After arriving, many of the amenities listed for the condo did no longer exist. Both outdoor pools destroyed from last hurricane. Tiki bar gone, indoor pool use not permitted. Parking garage closed. Restaurant closed.
Bathroom ceiling vent (above toilet) had intermittent leak of some sort of waste water. Not sure toilet or shower water from above. After seeing previous reviews this problem was not corrected. Owner acted like this was a new issue. Forced to use lobby bathroom. Very disappointed.
Overall good stay. After looking at similar properties I noticed we paid a little more than others. My own fault as I was booking quickly since the last one was cancelled for remodeling from hurricane. I assume this unit had water damage as well because we noticed the floors were completely different than the pictures and there were water level marks on the doors and baskets on floor. Still no new batteries in remotes like other review stated..No biggie-only slept in the room. Communication was good at first. Had water leaking from I assume upstairs unit-front desk didnât do anything said to contact owner. She responded the first time but not the second time. We left towels in the bathroom where it was leaking for 3 days straight.. Our unit was not very clean. I assume again from the remodel if any-dusty. Dead bugs..I swept the floors when we got there. But again-you pay for cleaning service, I recommend the owner checks on it. We were disappointed the INdoor pool was closed. Didnât learn of that until the check in instructions but heard thatâs how most hotels/resorts were anyways. Overall it was a good stay and would chose the same resort just for location.
The condo itself was perfect for our family of 4. The property needs a little TLC but that has nothing to do with our host! Sonia sent everything we needed for an easy stay.
I was pretty disappointed with the property as a whole. For a Resort/Conference Center, I expected much more for the money paid to stay here. Our condo was very outdated and just not very pleasing. The shower pressure was absolutely horrific and took forever to wash the soap out of your hair.
One of the remotes the batteries went out and so if you go down to the front desk, they are not going to help you if you rent from an individual. So no batteries. Luckily, we were not in our room very often, but again for the money paid to stay here (Resort Fees????), I was very disappointed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and HOT. The outdoor pools were nice and had lots of lounge chairs and the beach access was very convenient, but other than that I do not really have much to say about our stay on the property. The restaurant that they say they have is outside only with limited seating unless the weather is really bad then they said it would be open inside. That was really weird since there were not many seats to eat if you ordered from the "restaurant" outside. As a whole, this property needs a major overhaul and upgrade, I have stayed in much nicer hotels in the Daytona area than this property. I will not be staying here again.
My 2 yr old loved the kiddie pool. My 14 yr old loved the arcade. It is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The owner was prompt in getting back to me when I had questions. You have a grocery store and shopping stores across the street. We really enjoyed our time here.
Let me begin with the smell of the room. It was so pleasant! Our family really enjoyed so many aspects of this room including: the fact that it is on the second floor and close to the stairwell for quick access to the pools, it is a corner room, therefore you have almost a panoramic view of the ocean, the view is breathtaking, the location is wonderful, and the owner is just wonderful! We will be staying here again.
Everything was so nice, clean, and neat. The location was perfect. Ms. Sonia was so nice and answered all of my questions promptly. I will definitely stay again if I'm in Daytona
Location was perfect for our stay. Condo was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Condo was definitely dated but expected as it shows in pictures. Any issues we had we addressed with owner and she was fast to respond. Would stay there again.
