The room was nice enough though two out of four tvs didn't work (called the # and sat on hold for over 20 minutes before giving up), there was literally nothing in the kitchen like most places we've rented (coffee filters, salt and pepper, etc). The bunk bed room was so small it was hard for my kids to even walk through it, more like a closet, which it didn't have or a window, so technically not even a bedroom at all. Everything on the property was just dingy and run down. The pool was nice enough, the kids loved the lazy river, but everything around it was dilapidated like mildy, and falling apart and the bathrooms were outright disgusting. Like worse than a truck stop, revolting. It is a long walk to the beach carrying all your stuff also. Overall not worth it for the price and we won't be returning.

Please share which TVs and any photos through Vrbo messages so maintenance can be dispatched to repair or replace them. - I apologize the kitchen lacked basics. We’ll restock common items and review our listing/arrival information so guests know what to expect. - Thank you for calling out the bunk room size. We’ll review the listing photos and description to ensure the layout and bedroom designation are accurate. - I’m sorry you found the property and pool-area bathrooms in poor condition. We’ll notify on-site management/HOA and have housekeeping and maintenance inspect the units and common restrooms for deep-cleaning and repairs. - We’ll also add clearer notes about the beach walk and any gear/transport considerations so future guests can plan accordingly. Perfect location for get away, walkable to beach, close to crab island and downtown Destin. Apartment was clean, would be great location for couple with small children or couple get away. We did a mother daughter trip and worked out perfect!

The location was ideal. The property manager that helped us was nice. The negatives were the 2nd bathroom needed a deep cleaning. The booklet with info needs to be updated.

Pelican PH06

I booked this property for a girls trip, and we truly had such a wonderful time. The property was in the same condition as listed. We did not encounter any issues during our stay. We loved the amenities, and the beach was only maybe a five minute walk. Would definitely stay here again!

Wondeful!

This is a great place to stay. The amenities are great and it is only a short walk to the beach. The place itself has wonderful views and everything you need is in the condo. Any questions I had was answered quickly and they were great to work with. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great Value

We had an awesome stay and overall experience. The condo amenities were great and the pools were perfect for days we didn't want to go to the beach. Restaurants and bars were close enough to walk to and grocery stores were just a quick drive away. I would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxing vacation.

Month at Destin West

This was our four stay at Destin West but none since 2021. We absolutely loved our unit on the penthouse. The view was amazing. The unit had new appliances and was well cared for. It was super easy to work with both the owner and management team..
