Bourbon and Beyond home

We were delighted to find a property so close to the bourbon and beyond festival. We had everything we needed at Patricia and Kendra’s home. Plenty of room to relax and recoup each day before long days on the sun. The home is clean, and nicely updated. We checked out a few of the neighborhood spots like 21st Amendment, Checks, and Monnik. We had no problems getting Uber rides to and from festival. Great home for a great weekend in Louisville!!

This property allowed us to enjoy a lengthy stay in Louisville without breaking the budget and in a nice, clean environment.

Family meeting

Met in Louisville with a brother as it was approx half way between us. The visit did not start great as the key pad lock system did not work well. But the owner/manager brought a key so the rest of the weekend access worked well after a rocky start. The house is in an old neighborhood and had been upgraded some time ago. Floors of wood and carpet were clean, bathroom with good shower and towels sheets were good. The owner left a case of water which we really needed in the Memorial weekend heat. Also left several snacks but we were not there long enough to enjoy. The kitchen had opened prior food which we were uncomfortable with and the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner. But I am one of those clean counter/refrig people. Had a great time in Louisville.

Spacious and comfortable

Great space, easy access to our son's house (4 blocks away) and rest of Louisville. We are a bit old school so so reading lamps would be nice as it was cloudy/rainy most of weekend, and dark inside.

Everything we needed

Our stay in Louisville was great, thanks in part to our stay at this cozy home. Upon arrival, after a long 12 hour drive, we found the home as described. Patricia and Kendra left a nice welcoming package of snacks and bottled water in the fridge which was much appreciated. Enroute I enquired about a whether a blender would be available and we arrived to find a brand new one one the counter still sealed within the box. It is clear that Patricia and Kendra was your stay to be a comfortable one. The location of this home is perfectly located. Every place we went to was no more than a 10 minute drive! The only recommendation I have is for the bed linens (blankets and coverlet) to be refreshed with something that has natural fiber (cotton). All in all, this is a nice, comfortable home owned by people who care. Highly recommended!

Cozy and inviting

We spent two nights in this comfortable property with zero problems or issues. It has all the necessary shopping amenities within a quick drive or moderate walk, and it's just a quick drive away from the downtown area too. Will definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm in Louisville.

Wonderful stay at a reasonable rate in a centrally located house

My wife and I stayed at this home along with a couple of our friends. It was well suited to house all of us, and could have easily accommodated two more without trouble. It was located fairly close to a grocery store for provisions, had a couple neat bars within 1/2 mile, and was a short drive to downtown (10-15 minutes depending on traffic and destination). We visited a near pinball arcade themed bar called Zanzabar with good food and live music that we probably could have easily walked to if we hadn’t also gone to grab groceries. We then visited a great Haunted Hotel that was a short drive away to kick off the Halloween season for us. We ventured into downtown for some bourbon tasting, museums, and a concert, and had no trouble getting there. I’m pretty sure we could have also made a short drive to Kentucky Kingdom from there as well, but the weather had other plans. Maybe next time! It was nice to go back to the house in between and at the end of the day. There’s a nice big table for playing card & board games, with a nice living room and neat little patio area for enjoying conversation over coffee or drinks. There’s also a nice big TV with cable and streaming services in the house as well, though we only used that for a couple hours during our 4-day stay. The house is well worth the price of the stay. My only real suggestion would be adding a few end tables and a couple more nightstands (preferably with power outlet access for phones and such), but even those were only minor inconveniences and certainly wouldn’t dissuade us from booking this house again.

Great centrally located 3 bedroom

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, at any hotel or vacation rental. Loved the house. Everything was available that we needed. Clean comfortable house. A nice selection of snacks was provided. We need some extra help and the managers helped us immediately and were very attentive. Great place to get away in Louisville.

Great base for Derby weekend

We just got back from a Kentucky Derby weekend trip in which we stayed at Patricia's house. The house was perfect for our group of 6, and was very conveniently located to both Churchill Downs as well as a bunch of bars and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and host to accommodate our trip.
