California Guest House

This is a great property and close to shopping and dining. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great little escape from staying at hotels and other busy locations.

Convenient, quiet, and safe

This rental is very convenient if you are planning to go to museums, restaurants, hiking and museums. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe here.

Great place, perfect location

Comfortably sleeps 2/3 while allowing everyone there own space. Downtown Culver is only a short walk away and the rental is in a great neighborhood.

Fantastic & Cozy Stay, Great Location

I stayed at the guest house with my Mom and it was the perfect space for us. The bedroom is a good size & futon is super comfy - all the little details make great use of a small space without feeling cramped. We enjoyed being able to get to the main area of culver city for some good food very quickly & loved walking to mill cross just a few blocks away. Would stay again!

Culver City

After driving from Seattle for 2 weeks for our anniversary trip, it was good to get to a quiet private place for 3 nights. We were close enough to LA to do what we wanted to do and it made driving easy (no need to get on the freeway!). And the Sony Picture Studio tour was only a mile away. Great place to stay, great location. Thanks for letting us stay!

Lovely spot

Great property, nice outdoor area, modern kitchen, onsite laundry. The living room got hot in the afternoon sun, but there were lots of fans, and A/C in the bedroom. Perfect base of operations for exploring the LA area!

Cozy guest house

The guest house is comfortable, cozy and quiet. We liked the central location between downtown and the beaches. Culver City offers plenty of delicious restaurants so we didn’t use the well stocked kitchen much, but appreciated the Pete’s coffee. Since we have a new car we also appreciated having off street parking. We hope to stay here next time we visit.

Graduation trip

We came to celebrate my son’s graduation from Cal Poly Pomona. This was a fabulous place to stay. Quiet neighborhood yet close to parks and restaurants. Very clean and the owner was very prompt and helpful in answering a few questions. This is the best property we have ever stayed! Hope to come back again.

Perfect for 2-3 people

Very clean, renovated property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Nicely stocked with all kitchen items, beach towels, etc.. We really couldn’t have asked for more. The location is really good if you are planning on seeing a lot of LA - relatively short distances to many attractions, really easy to get to from the airport. It was exactly as described, and we would definitely stay here again!

Culver City Guest House

Perfect size and layout for a couple. Safe neighborhood with walking access to coffee shops and various eateries for all tastes. Very private with nicely updated bath and kitchen. Offstreet parking is a nice extra. Patrick was a great host and was always accessible for questions. We plan to return on our next visit to LA.

I am a movie trailer producer and I enjoy researching advancements in transportation and alternative energy in my free time. My wife, two daughters and two dogs make my life complete. I love Vrbo and meeting explorers from around the globe.

I would love to meet you but I also respect your privacy. I live in the main house if you need any assistance during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This Culver City Washington Corridor neighborhood is hot! Amazon and Apple offices are located nearby, it's in close proximity to Silicon Beach, and is located within walking distance to downtown Culver City, NFL Network, Sony Studios, and Helms Bakery (longer walk) with restaurants, shopping, theater, movies and much more. It's also within minutes of both the 405 and 10 freeways making it easy to get anywhere in Los Angeles.

Our neighborhood is quiet, but with lots of people walking their dogs, or out with their families enjoying the California sunshine.

Line 1 / Washington Blvd. - service Eastbound (Huron Ave. stop) to Culver City Hall, Expo Metro Rail Station, Helms Bakery District and West LA Transit Center, and Westbound (Elenda St. stop) to Venice Beach.

Line 6 & Rapid 6 / Sepulveda Blvd. - service Northbound (Washington Blvd. stop) to Palms, Expo Metro Rail Station, Westwood and UCLA, and Southbound (Culver Blvd. stop) to Culver Transit Center, Westfield Mall, Howard Hughes Center, LAX City Bus Center, and Aviation Metro Green Line Station (to Redondo Beach, Norwalk).

Line 7 – Culver Blvd. (weekdays only) - service to Eastbound (Elenda St. stop) to Culver City Hall and Expo Culver City Light Rail Station, and Westbound (Elenda St. stop) to Marina del Rey


BY TRAIN
Less than 10 minute Uber/Lyft, or 15 minute bus ride to:

Expo Metro Eastbound to USC, LA Coliseum, Banc of California Stadium, Natural History Museum, California Science Center, LA Live and Staples Center, Downtown LA, and direct transfers to Red Line (Union Station, Hollywood, Universal City and North Hollywood), Purple Line (Union Station and Koreatown), and Blue Line (Del Amo, Long Beach).

Expo Metro Westbound to Bergamot Station and Downtown Santa Monica.

There is no parking on our side of the street on Wednesdays between 8am-11am and across the street on Fridays 8am-11am. You will get a ticket please be careful of these days/times.
