Had everything I needed for my stay. Kitchen to cook breakfast & dinner when I wanted. Grills & fire pits available, too. Nice little porch to sit on with a coffee or in the evenings with a cold beverage
Me and a buddy fishing a tournament out of the Barkley state boat ramp stayed here. Perfect location. Minutes from boat ramp a few minutes from Cadiz which had plenty of choices for food. The only thing I have to say is I wish it was 2 queen size beds instead of 4 regular size beds. That was probably on me and how I booked it. Perfect for a group of fishermen wanting a close place to stay next to the lake and a fair price too! Will use this place again.
This was the perfect place for a group of 5 friends to stay while on a trip to eat at 8 Cracker Barrel restaurants over 2 days. The cabin was clean, warm, dry, and comfortable. It was exactly as described. There was a nice firepit in the back to drink a beer, smoke a cigar, and discuss why anyone in their right mind would want to eat at 5 cracker barrels in the same day. It's not the Four Seasons, but we weren't paying for the Four Seasons. We were paying for a place to rest our carb filled bodies for a night after eating at 5 different Cracker Barrels. We woke up and knocked out 3 more on our way home to central KY. Thank you Tony for a great stay!
Very clean and ready for us upon our very late arrival. Cabin was simple yet clean. Most everything was there that we needed. Could use a mixing bowl to assist with cooking and maybe a couple of washable plates. Had a nice time and Tony was very informative about area attractions.
This was a âhalfway pointâ stop for my family and me on our way home from Universal Orlando. We only slept there so weâre at the property 12 hours tops. Upon arrival we noticed the queen bed was sagging really bad so we did some investigating. Whoever had stayed there previously had broken the box springs and the slats on the frame were collapsed in the middle. My husband fixed the slats but the mattress needs replaced. The furniture is VERY outdated and to be honest walking into this little cabin in the woods in the dark is like walking straight into a horror film because of how dark the area is and how dated everything in the cabin is. Aside from all that, it was clean and had a certain charm to it. I wish we could have stayed longer to experience the lake. Maybe somedayâŠ
