This one-of-a-kind lodge is in the heart of the Aska Adventure area, and a short drive to charming downtown Blue Ridge. Take in the vistas on the deck, listen to the sounds of the Toccoa River from the back porch, and spy on the wildlife that frequents the backyard. Roast s'mores over the fire pit and engage in a pool game. Hike the extensive trail system surrounding us and finish your day relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire. The space
Misty Ridge Retreat is a classic Appalachian-style cabin that has been exquisitely remodeled and is new to the rental program. This means the space and furnishings provide an unmatched experience of great comfort and "newness."

The breathtaking mountain views and the sound of the Toccoa River create the perfect mountain cabin experience. The detailed, custom craftsmanship and carefully curated touches will leave you dreaming of your next retreat at Misty Ridge.

From the moment you drive up the private mountain road, you will be immersed in the serenity of the wooded surroundings. Pull into the driveway and walk through the door; no stairs are needed to fully appreciate the views and make the space yours. The main floor is the top floor, with an open concept, to let you discover your favorite area to gather around. Windows all around will let you connect with the outdoors. The family room centers around the beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and high-end stainless steel appliances will make meal prep a piece of cake, and the gorgeous custom-made dining table will bring you together.

A KING master suite (the Trout room) with fantastic views and en-suite bathroom completes the picture of convenience on this floor. The cherry on top is our family's favorite: the back porch with an outdoor gas fireplace that wraps around the cabin will quickly become your favorite spot to relax, listen to the rushing river, watch the clouds move through the mountains, and admire the wildlife that visits from time to time.

Misty Ridge Retreat downstairs offers a second KING master suite (the Buck room) with en-suite bathroom and just as beautiful views of the mountains. The third bedroom (the Hummingbird room) located across the entertainment area has a QUEEN bed with an attached bathroom and opens up to the pretty blue adirondacks chairs around the firepit.

A retreat is not complete without well-deserved rest and pampering. We have procured hotel-quality linens and towels for your enjoyment, as well as William Roam hair and body care products for a memorable all-around high-end stay.

Our cabin is nestled on 2 acres in a quiet mountain community. Walk up or down the mountain and enjoy the sounds and sights only the woods can offer. The location cannot be beaten. For the adventurers and explorers, you are right in the Aska Adventure Area. The Aska Trails connect to the Benton MacKaye trail in the Appalachian Mountains. This area is rich in countless trails within a short distance for hiking, mountain biking, the discovery of new waterfalls and creeks, canoeing, kayaking and tubing adventures. Down the road, you will find the Aska Rapids on the Toccoa river - bring your own tube or kayak or rent from a local vendor and float the river.

For those looking for a restful escape, you are less than 15 minutes from historic and picturesque downtown Blue Ridge for shopping and dining and to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Orchards, vineyards and golfing are all around and a short drive. If fishing brings you here, there is no shortage of options to choose from. You may also like to visit the Blue Ridge Lake and Marina for some watersports fun or go gem mining at the Lilly Pad Village.

Guest access
Off Aska Road, drive up the mountain and feel the embrace of the trees all around. A mix of paved and unpaved road will lead you to Misty Ridge Retreat. Elevation is expected.

Parking is available for 3 cars in our private driveway. The property is accessed by a smart lock with a unique PIN provided before check-in.

Guests will have access to the entire cabin and property, except for the locked owners' closets. Although unlocked, please keep out of utility closets.

*Our cabin is on Septic and Well water.
*Portable generator on-site (for main appliances).
*We love dogs, and they are welcome with prior owner approval (size dependent).
*Exterior security cameras for your, and our, safety.
*Age required to confirm booking is 25 years. Signed rental agreement and ID required to receive the door code.
*Streaming on TVs is available with your own login.
*Cleaning products available for guest use; please do not use white towels to clean up.
*Quiet hours are expected when out on the porch/hot tub to respect our neighbors.
*Our road is a mix of gravel and pavement.
