Enjoy our newly constructed cottage and patio that faces beautiful Redfish Bay and South Bay.
The cottage has a patio deck, a boat dock, a 100’ fishing pier with lights, a patio and lots of parking. Our two bedroom 2 1/2 bath house sits next to the 14’ deep Aransas Channel. Shrimp boats and fishing boats use this waterway to navigate local bays as they make their way to and from the Gulf of Mexico and through the jetties. This is a family friendly property. We are located 3 miles east of Conn-Brown Harbor and 3 miles west of the Port A Ferry.

The Best Place to Stay

We came here for a family time with my wife, daughter, son in law and four grandchildren. Looking at the pictures in the listing we knew it was a really nice place, but pictures don't give the place all the credit it is. From the moment we arrived, there was much excitement what lay in store for us while staying here. The place was very well designed and furnished, the hosts were superb, and the weather was ideal. The fishing and crabbing on the pier was a blast. Sonny the host even shared some spec rigs with us and they worked very good fishing at night. We took a boat and the boat slip worked very good. The property is close to town so restaurants, and groceries are not far. The view was spectacular, I'm so glad I brought binoculars. We all agreed this was the best rental we have ever stayed in. Looking forward for the next time. Thanks again Sonny and Sue for opening this place for us.

What a beautiful location and a perfect stay! We appreciated the access to good fishing and the daily dolphin watching was an unexpected treat. The house was clean and well appointed, the hosts having thought of everything. Thank you so much!

Fantastic Place to stay!

This was by far, one of the most beautiful and cleanest rentals we have ever rented. The amenities provided were so much more than we anticipated. The hosts were so wonderful and accommodating. It truly felt like we were staying at a friend's home due to the overall atmosphere of the home and the hosts themselves. We will definitely book here again! We also had dolphins put on a spectacular show right in front of the dock! It was amazing!

We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cottage and plan to definitely go back!!There was something for everyone…fishing on the dock, coffee and relaxing on the porch swing, we even saw dolphins swimming nearby, and my younger two enjoyed collecting sea shells. The location of this cottage is perfect for relaxing and the owners are incredibly sweet. They do such a great job making sure you feel welcomed from their cute decor to providing many basic necessities. This was one of the best little family getaways we have been on..I honestly just can’t say enough good things about it!

Charming, Cozy, Comfortable, Clean!

We came specifically to meet up with family, but I wanted someplace where my husband could fish as well. This was the perfect spot.While the weather wasn’t great, the house was beyond perfect. Completely comfortable, so cozy, extremely clean!, and charming. My daughter and I exclaimed several times how this is great, and that’s beautiful, and oh, I love that! The bedrooms and bathrooms are of nice size and there’s access to a washer/dryer, WiFi and tv. There’s isn’t an oven/range but there’s plenty of other cooking options, we utilized the electric frying pan frequently. We had no problems with anything.The owner, Sonny, chatted with about an injured duck and answered our questions and was just genuinely nice.Should we come back this way, I’ll stay, but only if we can stay here!

Beautiful Cottage On The Water

Stayed for roughly 2 weeks. Different weather conditions during stay but enjoyed them all. Lots of sea life (dolphins every day) and birds (herons etc) to watch from the dock or from the home. Was very clean and met all our needs. Hosts were great, helped me out late on a cold windy night when lost a key, came right over and unlocked for us.Also was nice being right at the ferry for Port Aransas.Would stay again.

It was nothing short of wonderful. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed fantastic viewing from inside and outside the house. The property was very well supplied and the host are WONDERFUL!!!! The fishing opportunities are plentiful and quality waters. WE WILL BE BACK.

Perfect Getaway

Third visit to the place, first time to bring a guest (9 year old grandson). Extremely clean and comfortable. Great beds. Nice showers. Beautiful views. We love to fish, and the fishing under the lights did not disappoint! The speckled trout were very plentiful, often catching two at a time on speck rigs. It's very nice to have a bait stand next door. Comfortable chair on the dock, cool cafe lights, and running water makes fishing out there so nice. We hired a guide who picked us up at the dock out back, and he cleaned our fish using the house's fish cleaning table. Gorgeous sunrises (and sunsets), best seen from the second floor balcony. Dolphins right in the channel in front of the dock. All kinds of bird life (pelicans, herons, gulls, and even kingfisher). HEB nearby in Aransas Pass. Also nearby is Crab'N restaurant, where they will cook your fish any way you like it. We didn't go to Port Aransas this time, but it's a short ferry ride there. Like I said, great for fishermen, but also if you just want to kick back, enjoy the water views, read, or use as a base to explore the area. Finally, we enjoyed talking to Sonny and Sue, the owners who live right next door. Patriotic Americans with very high standards for their rental property.

Love this house!

If it was possible, we would give this house and the owners a higher rating than 10. Sonny and Sue are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is immaculate and so cozy that you feel right at home. Everything is there that you could possibly need including an electric teapot that is wonderful for us tea drinkers. The pier was fantastic for fishing and we saw dolphins everyday. We had the absolute best 7 days ever spent at fishing and just relaxing in this beautiful home. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, stress free getaway. Thank you Sonny and Sue, we are planning to come back in April!

Great Place

We had an amazing time staying at this property over Labor Day weekend. It is a great location with easy access to Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, and Rockport. The fishing was fantastic as we caught speckled trout, sand trout, and black drum. Sonny was a great host and we can’t wait to come back again.

Love this place!

Great location with truly wonderful owners that are very sweet, responsive and helpful. They have provided everything you need to cook in the kitchenette, just plan ahead. Hard to beat the fishing and crabbing off the large dock. Last but not least, getting to watch the dolphins swim up close every day while the boats pass by is the best!

Perfect for our stay!

The house was perfect for our stay! The property was just as described and so inviting. It was private, yet close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed the dock and loved using the crab trap daily. The hosts were lovely and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommended!

The one and only bad thing about this place was the Roaches. A few big ones and lots of baby ones. Didnt bother me much but the girls were freaking out. I understand the house is on the water but maybe more frequent treatments would reduce their presence. Met the owners. They were extremely nice and helpful. Place is clean, beds are comfortable. Everything about this place felt like home away from home. The pier is just the best. Fished morning, afternoon and night every single day. Bait camp is literally right next door. Walking distance. We booked a fishing guide and he was able to pick us up from our pier. Beyond convenient.

Awesome trip

My family and I enjoyed our trip to the coast. The house was clean and full of home vibes. If you had forgotten something from home like laundry, bathing, or dish soap, more than likely it will be there. Also they have plenty of towels, pillows and blankets if needed. Fishing was a stone throw away and that was one of the many highlights of the property. The property owners are some awesome friendly people. To sum it all up it’s a property I will enjoy staying at again.

Great waterfront home!

The home was clean and well-kept. The layout was well thought out and provided the right space and amenities for our group of 7. The fishing off the dock was fun and we enjoyed watching the dolphins and the sunrise each morning!

Great Stay!

Location is great, halfway between the mainland and the island, bait shop next door. House is very clean and accomodating for everyone. Had a great time in the short time we were there due to the storm. Will definately be back.

June 2024 Fishing Trip

This property is the perfect fishing get away with a boat or fishing from the dock. The cottage is clean and very spacious and has every amenities you need. We had a blast and will definitely be back.
