We loved staying here. Everything is just perfect. Waterfront on bay with tons of speckled trout and great setup for fishing. Caught over a hundred specks, a ribbonfish, a toad fish also. Just wonderful hosts and a awesome outdoor area on water High recommend!

This is an amazing rental, particularly if you want to fish, boat and/or kayak the area. There is a bait store right next door. The dock has plenty of rod holders, and we had no trouble catching bait under the dock. Its a very short paddle to the shallow flats across the channel and lighthouse lakes trail is very close. The house was cozy and clean with countless thoughtful details. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.

This was our third year in a row to stay at this property. It is so clean, and has everything you could need for a great time. Sonny and Sue are wonderful and are always available if you need them. The peace and quiet and the beautiful sunsets are so relaxing and fishing pier makes it so easy to just walk out and cast a line. We highly recommend staying here and are already planning next years trip. Thank you Sonny and Sue!

The house is beautiful and has everything you need, sans stove and dishwasher. The constant breeze on the pier was lovely. We saw dolphins and lots of sea birds. If you have bad knees, this may not be the property for you because there are lots of stairs, inside and out. Sue and Sonny seemed to have thought of everything, and there are lots if kitchen and bath supplies, as well as fishing gear (bait buckets, etc.) Theres a bait shop next door and one about a mile down the causeway plus several more in A.P. we caught a few keepers off the pier. If you have a boat, the location is a plus. Overall, we thought the place was awesome and enjoyed our stay.

Just like last year! Perfect setup! It’s like the Goldilocks place to stay! Just the right distance from the beach, from the grocery store, from eateries. Dolphin sightings and great fishing, even the kids love this place as much as the adults! Already looking forward to the next time and we’re not all the way home yet!

Bay Dock is our happy place and this property never disappoints. We had a great time fishing, crabbing, and watching the dolphins roam the channel.

My husband and I really loved our stay at Bay Dock Cottage. The view was beautiful even though it rained while we visited but we will definitely be going back in the future. The cottage was very clean, relaxing and just being right on the water was amazing! My husband was able to fish right off the private pier and we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Mickey’s Bar & Grill that was recommended by Sonny and Sue who were very kind hosts.

The property exceeded more than our expectations. The house was clean and well maintained. Friendly host and sympathetic to our needs. The views were breath taking especially the sunrises and sunsets. The tranquility of the environment provided a much needed sense of peace and relaxation. The lighted pier was definitely a plus. The grand kids caught their first ever fish there. The excitement on their faces was a sight that will forever be imprinted in our lives. Thank you so much. I'm sorry I missed your voice message re: the heat (due to much holiday company!) I know the weather improved, and in the end you did not need the heat (fortunately). We think it was just a system response occurring when the heat was first turned on after a spring, summer and fall of being off. We are having the batteries checked however, in all the fire alarms. We are happy you came all the way from several states afar, and we hope you will come again!

Beautiful cottage, perfectly clean and has everything. Didn’t miss the absence of a real stove with the nice Breville countertop oven and electric burners. Convenient to grab bait fromRight next door, too!
