I and a couple of fishing buddies that went with me for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay. It was super clean, everything you need to eat or cook with is there for your use. There is a combo coffee maker. It will do pods or pot. I liked that. Be prepared to use your streaming service in order to watch sports. This location is really close to Paradise Key. Our guild put in at the marina and picked us up at 5:30 am. We were on our way within minutes! That was a very nice touch. There is a water light to fish over as well. If you like to get a drink and some food, literally across the road is the Hideout. We ate the chicken fried steak and were not disappointed. I highly recommend this place. And will be booking it again. Thank you to all who make this place a nice experience for any person that rents it!

Haynie Fishing Tournament 2023

We were just minutes away from Conn Brown Harbor, perfect location for fishing tournament. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony and the downstairs patio. The house is furnished very modern coastal style. Very spacious, and great layout. All the neighbors were super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home!

We loved every aspect of this beautiful home. It was perfectly appointed and comfortably furnished.... the new mattresses are great! We had everything we needed at our fingertips. Our 13 year old twins loved fishing off of the dock from dawn until late into the night. We loved having the water right below us with easy access anytime. We highly recommend this beautiful home for a time of relaxation.

Great family time in a comfortable home!

We spent a long weekend in Rockport and enjoyed our stay at this home in the Palm Harbor subdivision. We were celebrating our adult children's birthday's so we had a total of 6 adults and a 3 year old and a 7 month old. There was lots of room for everyone and the bedrooms were big enough to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately we didn't have any luck fishing but that's not something we can ask the property owners to guarantee :) We did enjoy some time at the beach in both Rockport and Port Aransas. Nice quiet subdivision and well equipped house.

Wonderful spacious home

We have family that live in Rockport and wanted to spend the weekend with them so we rented this home around the corner from my family. This house had everything you need. Comfortable beds for sure. Everything was very clean. The patio up and down are wonderful to hand out. We definitely enjoyed just sitting out there watching the water. We did not cook but if we wanted to there were pleny of kitchen tools and lots of seasonings in the cabinet. Closet space was huge. Rooms were bright and inviting with great decor. Living room was super comfortable and my husband fell asleep on the couch a few times. Top notch property. I would absolutely stay here again.

We've been coming to the Rockport / Port Aransas area for decades, and have stayed in numerous places. The Bay House is definitely one of the top places to stay. Clean and airy, with a wonderful, consistent, beach theme. The kitchen is well stocked, and ALL the beds were comfortable. Steven and Jennifer were in regular contact with us as we prepared for and arrived. No issues at all with the check-in or check-out. And for us, the boat pier was icing on the cake! Definitely a great spot to spend our vacation; we only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time, we will! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Great Rockport Location!

Only a few minutes south of Rockport Beach, grocery stores, and downtown attractions. House is spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of porch space for morning coffee! Will definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location. We had a little trouble getting in, but contacted the owner and all was well. I think he needs to either change or manage his housekeeping crew a little better. There were no trash bags or extra toilet tissue and several items needed repair. Overall, it is a great place to stay and we had a really good time.

Fishing Trip to Rockport, Texas

My wife and I had just purchased a new fishing boat and we searched diligently for the right place to stay for a week long fishing trip to Rockport. This also included our son and his family. The owner advised us to notify him 24 hours in advance and he would send a code to access the door. We did notify him 24 hours ahead of time but by the time we got there we still did not have a code. Some of the neighbors attempted to help us but were unable to do so and we could not contact the owner on the phone number he gave us because the voice mail was full. We also attempted to text him but he did not respond. About 2 1/2 hours after arriving the owner sent the code and we were able to get in the house. Everything went fine until approx 10PM when we heard a loud noise directly above the A/C return air vent. The A/C shut down and the following morning called the owner. Around 12noon the repair man showed up and advised a bearing went out in the AC and he could not repair it until Monday if he could get the parts. I contacted the owner and told him that we were going to check out the following morning because it was already to late to return home. The following morning we left and returned home. On 09/27/20 the owner told me he was going to refund my entire amount, however, it is now 20 days later and he has failed to do so and I have now initiated action with VRBO as well as protesting the charge to American Express. The owner talks a good game but does not follow through with what he says. Would never deal with him or stay at any of his properties in the future.
