Perfect for group gatherings! Bring your family & friends and visit the wineries, nature preserves, hiking and good eats in nearby New Paltz! Or just stay home on a cozy evening by the fireplace and hang out in one of your TWO living rooms with a nice cup of tea or glass of local wine at this Hudson Valley home away from home!

The home is fully equipped with all the amenities necessary for long term stays as well! Complete kitchen and cooking necessities plus formal dinning room that can fit a family of 8. Cable, Netflix streaming , high speed internet & designated office space for working remotely. Weekly & Monthly stays welcome!

Small dogs are welcome however we do take the necessary precautions for our guests and do a deep pet dander cleaning after your stay so an addition fee applies for your fur babies stay.

Beautiful setting

We loved the wooded trails in the back as well as the hot tub and fireplace. All of the bedrooms were super comfortable and spacious.

Peaceful and comfortable getaway!

The house was very clean, well furnished, and spacious (but still had a cozy vibe!), and the property was beautiful! It was nice to walk down the trail to the creek. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. Katherine was a great host and very communicative. I definitely recommend this home for a trip to upstate NY!

Great place to stay

This was a beautiful and spacious house in a quite location. Lots of outdoor space to explore as well. We had a nice and relaxing time. Kat is a great host who was very attentive.

Great Getaway!

My family and I were looking for a close place that we could get away for Easter weekend, but it was super important that we could bring our dogs with us. This was the perfect place for us and for them. There are hiking trails in the back that lead to an awesome river - the dogs LOVED it! We had a great time too and I would highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

The home was exactly as listed and it was even nicer/cleaner in person. We had more than enough room for a group of 6, and everything inside felt new. The location was super convenient for a winery tour, hiking and driving into town. Would highly recommend.

Great house

This house was perfect for my family and I for the weekend. Everything was so clear when it came to check in and check out and house rules. The house had all the basics and little things that we never would have thought of. Would definitely go back and stay there again if I had something else in the area. Highly recommend!

Such a great Fall getaway!

Friends and I found this property since we wanted to visit Angry Orchard, which is only a 15-minute drive away. The house itself is so cozy and spacious, and it is on a great piece of property with tons of foliage and even a little trail walk down to the creek! I realized we hadn't received check-in instructions as we were nearing the house, but I messaged Kat and she got back to me immediately with the key code and details. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back at some point!

Family Wedding

This was the perfect location for our family to stay for our niece's wedding. Plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed gathering in the big tv room at the end of each day. But my favorite was looking forward to getting up early each morning and having coffee on the back porch and watching the sun rise and listening to the river. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful home to stay in!

Quick Fall Trip

We had an amazing stay! The house has so many spacious bedrooms for a big party, and all of the appliances are super up to date! They even have a ton of smart TVs with great choices on movies and internet! The house is super close to the Angry Orchard cider house, which was a great stop for our trip! Thanks so much! We can’t wait to come back again!

Grooms getting ready

My husband stayed here and it was the perfect location for the guys to get ready for our wedding! There was so much space and each room is decorated beautifully! The kitchen was so spacious and had enough room for the guys to relax and get ready. We were so lucky the weather was beautiful and the guys could enjoy the outdoor spaces. She had maps of the hiking trails that were readily available and the foliage was incredible! We definitely recommend!

Gem in the woods

We pulled up to a beautiful home with a lovely oversized porch. The keypad was an easy access. Upon entering, the home was inviting, very spacious and equipped with essentials. Each bedroom was so ample, comfortable and beds were very comfy. The grounds were very pretty and enjoyable for a nice walk through the trail. All in all, would love to return to spend more time. We were there for our childrens’ graduations from SUNY New Paltz. The homeowner is quick to respond and gracious. Would recommend this home for a larger family!

Wonderful Stay in Walkill!

We had a wonderful stay at Kat's place. The house is even more beautiful and cozy then pictured. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfy and there were many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes in rainy chilly weather. I would highly recommend the Sam's Point Ice Cave hike (you need reservations on the weekends). We had a fun scary movie night in the cozy family room watching the amazing giant TV! Kat made us feel welcome and responded to any questions we had quickly. I hope to visit again, and highly recommend for an upstate getaway! Thanks Kat!

Serene and clean!

This house is perfect for adventuring with young children. The house was spotless when we arrived. It is spacious enough to comfortably house two families, affording lots of privacy to both. The grounds are beautiful and big enough for little ones to feel like they've gone on a wonderful adventure while still being able to run right inside if necessary. Kat was an incredibly helpful host, offering plenty of activity suggestions and providing us with clear and simple instructions. The location is wonderful, about 15 minutes to several hiking spots and 15-25 minutes to a number of cute downtown areas with coffee shops and places to eat. We definitely plan on returning in the future. Thanks for a wonderful memory!

We were generally very happy with the property and the responsiveness of the owner. We had six people staying with us and ran out of hot water after four had taken showers, I spoke to the property owner and they said they’ll be making adjustments to the water heater situation. Overall we were very happy.

Great Time/Will definitely return

The home was in great condition and very well maintained. It was complete with all of the amenities you can ask for and it seemed that anytime we needed something, they had it!!! The rooms were all spacious with very comfortable bedding. The property was a great piece of property nestled along the Wallkill River. The hosts of the house were very easy to deal with and very responsive. I recommend this home and we will definitely return in the future.

Nice house in a beautiful quiet location.

Nice house in a beautiful quiet location!The house is very clean and has so many spacious bedrooms, and all of the appliances are super up to date! The location is wonderful, about 15 minutes to several hiking spots and 15-25 minutes to a number of cute downtown areas with coffee shops and places to eat. Only one issue that water at house is on a well system - so it’s see some sediment or a sulphur smell. Except these, beautiful house, nice large property, easy communication with owner.

If you would like to come and stay on the property we have everything you would want or need. Otherwise- the surrounding area has activities such as wine tasting, hiking, bird watching, trail & mountain biking and we are 30 mins from LEGO Land!
