"Whitty Fox" is a large, recently renovated home away from home, perfectly suited for a group golf trip or family getaway. This beautifully appointed home, set in a peaceful part of Pinehurst, is just 1.3 miles from Pinehurst Village and has both fine dining and a breakfast/lunch restaurant within walking distance. Eight people have their own beds in this home that can sleep up to 14, and each of the 4 large bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. There is also a bonus room with a desk and a large day bed with a trundle, perfect for quiet/workspace and/or additional sleeping accommodations. Two king bedrooms are on the main level and upstairs you'll find the bonus/trundle room along with two large bedrooms, each of which has 2 queen beds. All of the bedrooms have smart TVs with the most popular apps and a subscription to Hulu Live TV.
The main level has everything you need to be entertained including a pool table, card tables, and a foosball table. The kitchen has a double oven and is fully furnished with utensils and cookware for baking and cooking. It also has an oversized refrigerator as well as two dishwashers for quick and easy clean-up. A large living room opens to the kitchen and a sun-drenched dining area that can seat twelve. Outside you'll find a beautiful brick courtyard equipped with a gas grill and comfy furniture for outdoor dining and relaxing. The home also has a private, in-ground saltwater pool for cooling off in the hot summer months.

The house was very nice. There was plenty of room. We had a problem with getting the door code for the property at the start of our rental period which was corrected within 45 mins. Also the air conditioning malfunctioned on the second day but once we were able to reach out to the host it was handled promptly.

Great Family Vacation Home

We had a great time staying here. Plenty of space and we loved the large sunroom with dining table big enough for 12+ people. The pool was a favorite spot for everyone! Close to everything but tucked in quiet neighborhood.

We were very happy with the house and amenities. The two dishwashers were great for quick clean up after big meals. The pool was great for our kids. The game rooms kept the kids entertained too. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot in Pinehurst

The house was in the perfect spot to get to all the great places in the area. The pool was great to cool off in. Plenty of space for larger parties. Fantastic for any golf trips as all the courses are within easy driving times. Thank you for the weekend!

This place is absolutely amazing!

Kelly’s place is a top notch! We had a group of 8 adults stay and it had more than enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. Kelly was very responsive and also had some great suggestions for local eateries. As a VRBO host as well, I highly highly recommended this spot! Thanks Kelly!

Great Home and great location !

Had an amazing time at the home. It was in a perfect location, a very short drive to the Pinehurst Clubhouse. Great yard and back porch for grilling and hanging out with a large pool. Enough room in the house for everyone to have their own space. Extremely clean and updated, and the host was attentive and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Home, Great Location

We had family and friends traveling to the area for a wedding. So, several of us stayed at the Pinehurst home. What a great find! Super location, very clean, great accommodations, quiet neighborhood, etc, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy each other’s company. Kelly was responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We had one minor electric issue with a GFI breaker and Kelly had someone at the house the next morning…fixed it in a jiffy. Absolutely no regrets, we’ll stay again when we’re back in the Pinehurst area.

Great space for a large group!

Kelly, the property manager, was easily accessible when needed. The house was clean and well decorated. We loved the large sunroom and the kids loved the pool! The only negative was the railroad tracks close to the house, so one night we could hear a train passing by in the middle of the night.

We'll Be Back!!

What an amazing house for our family to gather for a Wedding Shower!! We were a party of 9 and had plenty of room. Kitchen is awesome - so awesome we did an online Sur La Table cooking class while the guys played golf. We are already planning a trip back to Pinehurst based on staying at this house.

Great home for a Pinehurst wedding

My brother in law got married the weekend we stayed at this lovely home and it was perfect! We had plenty of room for the groom to get ready on his wedding day. There was ample upstairs space for the baby to nap in quiet while everyone else was downstairs getting ready. The pool area was beautiful and we would have loved to have more time to spend there if the weather was nicer. The house was well appointed and very well decorated. We would definitely stay here again!

Entertaining Property

This was a great property! Plenty of space. Extremely well stocked with towels (pool & bathroom), detergent (dishwasher & washing machine), paper towels and a ton of kitchen items! There was even a Keurig machine and traditional drip coffee machine. Fun for all ages with the pool, pool table, games and foosball table. Great location - close to Pinehurst and all surrounding courses. The two dishwashers are now a luxury I want in my own home!! Great getaway - the owners have thought of everything!!

Mini family getaway

WONDERFUL!! This property was exactly as advertised in the pictures and the description! We would definitely make the 4.5 hour drive again to stay at this beautiful home. The only thing we'd do differently on our next trip is stay longer! The house was very clean and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out & have privacy. The indoor amenities kept the teens occupied & the pool was everyones favorite. The back patio was the perfect evening spot for relaxing. Kelly was very responsive to all of our needs & the house was well stocked with everything we needed but the food! Beds were comfortable in all the rooms, TV's in all the rooms was a definite plus & the kitchen pots/pans were in great if not new condition! Can't wait for our return trip!

Fantastic House for Golf Trip

Stayed for 4 days/3 nights in July for an annual golf trip and loved the property. Immaculate condition, all the bells and whistles to keep the boys entertained, and a fantastic pool to help cool down after the round. Both the pool and pool table were used frequently and the kitchen was well stocked for our Sunday dinner. I asked everyone and the general consensus was that it was great and we'd definitely consider coming back again if available next year. The only complaint I really heard (and would agree with) is that the double fireplace had a residual odor that made the entire first floor smell like a camp site. Didnt really bother us but was definitely noticeable. Also worth mentioning that the 'bonus room' listed in the description is the same room that contains the twin beds which is just a day bed with two pull out twins. It is not '2 twin beds AND a bonus room with a day bed' as I incorrectly interpreted the description. Just meant that one guy had to share a king, we made it work, but wanted to call it out for anyone with a party of 8 wanting to make sure everyone has their own bed. Kelly, the host, was fantastic, super responsive, and very helpful with us getting the bedding and lighting figured out at the home. Appreciate her letting us stay and looking forward to next year.
