"Granite Getaway Cottage” has bright and airy rooms with an outside covered deck for enjoying your morning coffee! The deck has a gas grill for cooking out. There is a comfortable living room with a smart screen TV, DVD player, recliner, and an electric fireplace for ambience or those chilly nights. The kitchen has a dining table or you can sit at the counter to eat your meals. Dual coffee maker with several coffees provided. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with detachable shower head. Queen bed has comfortable linens and usb ports in the bedside tables. Two twin beds in other bedroom with comfortable bedding also. All mattresses and box springs are fully encased for sanitation. There is a small crib, baby gate, and umbrella stroller available. There are laundry facilities if needed. Natural cleaning products used to clean and sanitize the home. Keyless digital smart lock with Wi-Fi deadbolt.

Was in town for a dance competition at the Broyhill Civic Center. Instead of staying at a hotel, decided on a vrbo. So glad we picked Peggy's! The house was immaculate, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Adorable home, and clean as can be! Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked very well. So impressed with how extremely clean the house was! The owners provided every amenity one could think of to make our stay very comfortable.I wish we could have been able to enjoy the cottage longer! We will certainly be back and will recommend this rental to anyone needing a place in the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

We loved our stay at this cute, cozy cottage! It was exactly as described. The house was immaculate, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus, and my kids had the best time playing football outside. The host was fantastic and made everything so easy. Perfect stay!

We LOVED the cottage! It was the perfect spot to enjoy our "weekend in Mitford" (specifically the book launch for Jan Karon's latest Mitford book) as well as a fun drive to beautiful Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Peggy spared no details -- we loved the charming, decor, the quiet location, and the comfort. If we find ourselves back in NC, we would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you, Peggy!

You could not ask for any more! Every gadget, every item you might forget to bring was in this cute cottage. Everything was top quality and the decor was impeccable. We had our 3 and 8 year old granddaughters with us and they called it "our little cottage". They were sad to leave. We very much enjoyed our stay.
