Suite 315 at The Whaler combines a luxurious contemporary island decor and fantastic ocean views from its interior courtyard vantage point.

A full modern kitchen featuring granite countertops and custom wood cabinetry offers everything you need to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment.

Your party will have plenty of sleeping capacity for up to four guests with one sumptuous king-size bed and one queen-size convertible sofa sleeper.

Catch your favorite show on the flat-panel HDTV in the suite. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is also included with your stay.

Nestled right in the heart of Kaʻanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, The Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.

Lounge by the sparkling beachfront pool and hot tub or take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. A beachside towel desk can assist with gear rentals for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Additionally, enjoy a game at one of the tennis or pickleball courts or a workout in the fully equipped fitness center.

Spring break Maui

The ocean view was spectacular and even though it was a studio there was plenty of seating to have our other friends for Easter brunch. We had everything we needed.

Relaxing and beautiful!

Whaler property very well taken care of. Beautiful grounds and area. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed Whaler Village and having it so close. Room was very accommodating. Would definitely come back here.

Just what we needed

The space was perfect for my daughter and I on our quick getaway. Everything was so clean and inviting. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back!

Maui

We stayed at The Whaler because it was like home. We have been there most often. It is close to the restaurants and shopping. And…the beach is right there. The pool is somewhat dated.

Perfect for Two

The size of this rental was perfect for the two of us. The coffee was great to have as we are both coffee drinkers. Thankful for all the utensils and of course the beer bottle opener. The balcony has a great view of the mountain and ocean. A small downside was the neighbors directly above us must not have an ounce of carpet as we could hear them sliding furniture across the floor every morning between 3:45-5am, that was impossible to sleep through. Other than that we appreciate the Whaler for the awesome staff and the beautiful property. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Great location, but……

Property itself was clean and sufficient. However, it took me 2 1/2 days to get Internet and TV service because the modem was no good. The router is over 10 years old. I kept going back-and-forth with Maui resort rentals on getting it fixed. Finally, I came back to my room to find someone in there that I didn’t expect and they were waiting for the cable company to come. They got it fixed. The only other thing I would say is some food storage containers would be nice. Otherwise be prepared to buy your own plastic wrap and or aluminum foil. The owner bent over backwards to help me and to give me a good deal. I am hoping for a resolution and a remedy from Maui resort rentals. Overall, though, you can’t beat Kaanapali and you can’t beat the Whaler.

Our records show that the wifi issue arose late in the evening on your first night of stay, and that we corresponded with you to arrange for a hotspot to be delivered the next day. I see that management also provided you with a credit to address the wifi challenges. The modem has since been repaired, and we will certainly relay your feedback regarding food storage to our operations team. Again, Mahalo for your comments - we hope to use them to improve in the future.

Incredible view, well equipped room, beautiful grounds, near shopping and restaurants, and one of the best spots on Kaanapali Beach these days. Maui Resort Rentals also made everything smooth with instant responses to questions.

Great Location

We were here for our 48th anniversary. The studio is perfect for a couple. We were a little concerned about space in a studio, but it turned out to be plenty of space, and the King size bed was comfortable. But best of all was the patio overlooking the ocean and gardens.
