Thanks for sharing this feedback with our team Lisa. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group. We have replaced the carpet on both staircases in our home and have repaired the front steps. Sorry we still had a few Christmas decorations up as we try to keep some Christmas cheer in the home through the winter. I will be sure to take things down earlier next year! Toni, thanks for sharing your thoughts. However, my team and I are very confused as your brother and his partner communicated to my cleaning team that they had a great stay and left a tip. Your group even asked us about a later check out or adding a night to the stay. Our goal is to ensure that each and every guest enjoys there stay with us. I personally live in the same neighborhood and have never had any issues. It is a safe and quiet residential part of downtown that the rest of our guests have enjoyed. We would greatly appreciate any specifics on how we could improve. Have a great evening!

Robert, I am sorry to hear about the negative review. I understood from your communication that your group had a great stay at my home. I appreciate your communication in letting me know about your fall in the shower. However, I don't think your summary is a fair representation of the overall stay as we simply asked questions if you knew where the missing items were from the shelf that was dislodged during your accident in the bathroom. My team reported the items on the shelf weren't there any more after your stay so I inquired about them as they were in the home before check in. We came to a quick and easy resolution for the torn shower curtain. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope you understand that it was not intended to feel like an accusation. Hey Adrienne, thanks for sharing this feedback with us. Please don't hesitate to reach out to hosts in the future as we would have greatly appreciated the chance to make things better. My cleaning team does a full clean of the hot tub after each guest with the proper chemicals. I went over to the home after your check out to take a look and all I could see was a little bit of sand in one corner. The water in the hot tub was in pristine condition and ready for use. Sorry about the closet door knob - it fell off the week before and I didn't get a chance to repair it till after your stay. Also, we set up the furniture in each room to fit the historic yet renovated style of this 19th century home and realize that it's best situatated for small to mid sized groups. We would love to put massive sofa's in the living room, but it would completely block the flow. We appreciate the feedback and look forward to continuing to deliver the best stay possible for all of our guests. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your time at our home and in Cincinnati.
