Large Historic Cincy City View House Near Downtown
This fully renovated 1870s brick home sleeps up to 9 and features a stunning city and river view. Conveniently located less than 5 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, guests will have the entire 2nd and 3rd floors to themselves. 1st floor is detached and unoccupied.
The bedrooms are located on the third floor. The master bedroom features a queen bed, the middle walk-through bedroom features a queen-over-queen bunk bed, and the third bedroom features a queen. The bath, living room, dining room, and kitchen are located on the 2nd floor.
We found this house to be very spacious and had a great view of downtown and the Ohio river! Perfect size for what we needed, although we were out and about for the most part.
Beautiful views of downtown Cinncy and near a lot of things not only in Cinncy, but also Kentucky. Plenty of space for a family. Location is on a busy road that can make getting out of the driveway a little hard.
I needed a place to celebrate my daughter as we come from Cleveland and she was graduating from UC. This home was perfect to hold our brunch celebration as it has a spacious dining and living room area. The only drawback is that there is very little parking and itâs on a busy road so itâs hard to pull out but itâs close to downtown and the college.
Owner is great regarding communication and making sure everything you needed was there. You should be aware of the house being on a very busy road so extremely loud day and night, especially with no blinds or anything on any of the windows on the main floor. Perfect if you are wanting downtown access.
The house was clean and very well lit. Though it was off a busy road it was fairly easy for us to back out of the driveway. I was very anxious about this at first but didn't present any issues. There are stairs directly upon entering make sure you are able to do stairs. Over all it was a very cute house and it worked very well for what we needed.
The house was exactly as shown in the listing. It's an old house with big character! The hardwood floors are beautiful and the overall feel was great. Hosts were very easy to work with. House was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the location and view. Would 100% book this house again should we travel to Cincinnati in the future!
This was our last leg of our travels up though Kentucky. The view of Cincinati Downtown and the Ohio river was beautiful. Communication with the host was timely. House is on a busy street. They do provide earplugs though. 10-20mins from everything tourist related.
Were in town visiting our college student. Great location, enjoyed the neighborhood. Off street parking was convenient. House was comfortable and well appointed.
We enjoyed the home! The place is very spacious. Maybe needs a little bit of up grade with furniture and drive way is narrow n home is off a busy street but overall clean and nice. Owner was very nice and easy to contact.
Wonderful views of the downtown core and the river! The kids loved watching all the trucks, trains and barges through the big windows. This was a perfect location for accessing everything that the Cincinatti area has to offer. The hosts were very helpful and the property was generally clean.
The one downside we found is that it can be difficult to get out of the driveway due to traffic. We eventually decided it was best to not cross traffic to head into cincinatti, but drive west for a couple minutes and then turn around at the nearby gas station.
Even with that in mind, we would absolutely stay again!
The house itself is as cool as it seems in the photos. Family of four, we stayed 2 nights as a layover but I wish we could have stayed longer.
Easily accessible from and to I-75 but also in 10 mins drive to Findlay Market, Vine Street. We like the simple but stylish decoration and furniture. River view is unbeatable. We had a chance to catch an amazing rainbow over the river after the storm. Our host was very responsive and kind. I hope we can visit back sometime. Thanks for hosting us.
Just a word of caution - this house is old & though clean it could use a good detailing. Rooms are spacious but not luxurious in any way. Bedrooms are on third floor but bathroom on second. Fire extinguisher on second floor but none on third where bedrooms are with no fire escape. My husband felt it was a fire risk. Street that house is on is very busy & you must back out. We grew up in Cincinnati & did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood. That being said itâs close to downtown & the Mainstrasse area of Covington where there are lots of restaurants.
A beautiful older home with a beautiful view of the city skyline and river. Just the place we needed! Host very kind and quick to respond to questions.
Took a family trip to a reds game, Cincinnati zoo, and Newport aquarium. The house was in an absolutely perfect location to get to all 3. The view from the house is also spectacular.
A great spot for a visit to Cincy. Ample space, recently remodeled. Close to downtown, great view of the Ohio River. Owner is very responsive to questions.
Other things to know: Second story property, and bedrooms are on a third floor â so must be comfortable with stairs. One bedroom is a passthrough to the other. Can hear cars from busy street below.
Overall, a great choice for our stay. Highly recommend.
