This is a Studio loft that has two full bathrooms so no waiting to shower after your long days of activities! This is perfect for a family. In the Condo you can enjoy a fully accessorized kitchen, TV service, WIFI, games with the family, and relaxation. Located close to town where you are able to walk to several restaurants or jump on either the green line or Evening Hospitality shuttle right out the front door. Two Parking spaces are allowed.

- In the loft you will find a Queen Bed.
- In the living room there is a Queen Air Mattress.

- In the loft there is a full bath with a Bath Tub and a Shower.
- Main living area there is another full bath with a Shower.

PARKING
- There is a large parking lot in the center of the complex where you park.

During the winter you must drive a snow capable vehicle, preferably a vehicle that is 4WD or AWD, carry the correct chains and know how to use them (legal requirement), and plan your trip accordingly knowing this is a ski town and we can get 1-2 ft of snow within a 24 hour period. A driver who has experience driving in the snow is great as well.

Must sign our rental agreement and complete ID verification within 48 hours of booking confirmation or forfeit your reservation.

Great condo in a convenient location. Check in and check out was simple and plenty of parking. I will rent this place again.

Worth it!

This place was exactly what we expected from the photos! It’s perfect for a couple. And the communication from the management was very clear and overall great! My one critique would be that it gets very hot even with the fans and windows open. So more AC options would be nice. But we also went in the middle of July so probably different for different times of the year. Overall it was a great honeymoon getaway! :)

Great Location & Easy Access

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The location is close to restaurants, shops, grocery, etc. Finding the location was easy and the host provided very clear instructions for the rental. We had an issue with the TV and the host, Andy, responded immediately to help us troubleshoot and we got it resolved. There are a few things I want to point out just for awareness. 1) the space is quite dark. There is ample lighting in the entryway and kitchen, but the sitting area and upstairs bathroom are very dark, 2) the bed, although comfortable, is very squeaky so if you're a light sleeper and move a lot, you'll notice it, 3) this is mentioned in the host's guide, but the hot water source is a small water tank that runs out quite fast. We were able to take our showers, but had to make sure we were quick and then waited so that the next person could shower. Water pressure was excellent! These are just things we noticed, but it didn't affect our stay.

Not impressed

The rental was dusty and dirty when we got there. We found someone’s masks on the couch, dusty counters and huge dust bunnies behind the headboard when we plugged in our phone chargers. The listing says there’s a pellet stove but when you get there they say in their little handbook that you can’t use it and ask that you use little space heaters instead which didn’t really do much for heating the unit. The listing also says that there’s a pull out couch bed but again, when you get there they ask you not to open it up. So if you have kids and we’re planning on having them sleep there while the parents are upstairs you’re in a bit of a pickle. Lastly the bed upstairs was so uncomfortable. Like rock hard bed springs that caused pressure points on your body regardless of sleeping on your side, stomach or back. We tried them all because we couldn’t get comfortable. It was so bad that we alternated sleeping on the couch so you could at least get a few hours of sleep. I can’t ever remember a time where I noticeably tossed and turned as much, just trying to find a comfortable spot. All in all it was a place to lay your head and it served its purpose but all of the things considered above we won’t be back and recommend you look elsewhere too.

Thank you for your review Hunter. I am very surprised by your review as you never contacted us during your stay and the last and only time you communicated with me was months before your stay. This unit has been a vacation rental for over four years elsewhere and is 5 star rated along with our ability to provide customer service. I apologize your stay was not what you were looking for and I wish we could have had the opportunity to discuss things as you needed. As far as the Pellet Stove goes, we only ask that you allow us to provide you with instructions for its use if you want to use it, as many people are not familiar with them. We do not advertise a Queen sofa sleeper at all either. I do have a couch that used to be used as a queen sofa sleeper but was broken beyond repair long ago. It is not listed as available for use anywhere. We instead advertise the twin sofa sleeper right next to it and a queen air mattress, as well as a full queen size bed in the loft which are noted and agreed upon at time of booking. All of these are provided with sheets, blankets, and pillows for your use. To clarify further the claims regarding the pellet stove and the queen sofa sleeper are false as described above. I have had over a 1000 stays and have never had a complaint about the Queen bed in the loft being uncomfortable. This is something we take seriously and will look into. Thank you Andy

We enjoyed our stay at this location!

Mountain Shadows is a great location and we enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, it was convenient when we wanted to walk. The complex is very quiet and our unit was peaceful. Parking lot was close to our unit, so packing up the car for a day trip was easy. My son loved the twin pullout bed in the living room, and having two bathrooms was convenient. My only two issues with the unit were with the queen bed upstairs and the hot water supply. We found the queen bed too soft and when both of us were in it we rolled to the middle, it sunk in a little. The hot water supply was short, and we ended up having to wait between showers for it to heat up again. All in all, we'd stay here again, as those weren't major problems for us. The condo was clean and enjoyable, and the Roku was a nice perk for watching TV. Andy was a great host, and always replied quickly to any of our questions. We were able to check in early as well.
