Crestview #5 is a charming, single level, 1-bedroom plus den condominium with 2 bathrooms. Conveniently located between Canyon Lodge and the Village Gondola, this unit has a full kitchen equipped with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all dish and cookware you could need. The living room has an attached private outdoor patio, gas burning fireplace, flat screen TV, along with free cable TV and Free Password Protected Wifi.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and flat screen TV along with an attached master bath en-suite, with a shower/tub combo. The den off of the kitchen includes a day bed with twin on top and twin trundle pull out (two twin beds total) and a full shared bathroom (shower only).

There is one flight of stairs from the parking garage to reach this unit and it is all one level inside.

Crestview condominiums offers underground parking for 1 assigned car in spot #5 and guest parking on a first come first served basis for additional cars, a cozy rec room with fireplace, pool table and community BBQ's, outdoor Jacuzzi and Sauna and great back yard for the kids.

Beautiful and recently refurbished but with issues.

I recently stayed in this apartment with my family of four and found it to be very comfortable with an excellent location. While we enjoyed many aspects of our visit, there were a few areas for improvement. The balcony was not as clean as expected, and the refrigerator emitted quite a bit of noise at night, which made sleeping a bit difficult. Additionally, the jacuzzi in the complex was in need of some maintenance, and having basic cleaning supplies like a broom, mop, and Windex for daily use would have been a welcome addition.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and with a few adjustments, the experience could be even better.

There is a shuttle bus stop just outside the property, so very convenient to the three Lodges if you don’t want to drive by yourself. The condo is well equipped with almost everything you need, especially the kitchen. Only that the fridge made noises, which made me awake frequently at night. Need to check and fix.

# Formal Complaint: VRBO Rental Experience ## Property Details Rental Unit: Location: Mammoth Lakes Rental Platform: VRBO Duration of Stay: 5 nights Approximate Daily Rate: $200-$250 ## Summary This formal complaint addresses numerous issues encountered during our recent stay at the aforementioned VRBO rental property. The overall experience fell significantly short of expectations, with discrepancies between the advertised amenities and the actual conditions of the unit. ## Detailed Concerns ### 1. Misrepresentation of Property - The pictures in the advertisement did not accurately represent the actual condition of the unit. - The decor and general appearance of the building (staircase area, second floor) were outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s. ### 2. Access and Security Issues - The key lockbox was difficult to use due to its shiny surface and non-functional light. - Only one key was provided, causing inconvenience for multiple occupants. - An electronic keypad was available inside the unit for owner use but not for renters for their closet inside ### 3. Amenities and Furnishings - Fireplace: Advertised as wood-burning, but actually a small gas fireplace with minimal heat output. - Beds: - Misrepresented as a queen and two twin beds. - Second twin bed was a pull-out, more suitable for a child. - Bed placement made bathroom access difficult. - Sofa: Old and uncomfortable,like a sofa from an old run-down apartment building." - Patio: Furnish

Very Comfortable; Nicely Appointed

The kitchen had everything we needed, although salt and pepper shakers for the dining room table would’ve been nice. Gas grill on the balcony was perfect. Bedroom and private bath were very comfortable.

Wonderful homebase for exploring Mammoth

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable condo. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, and we appreciated having access to so many chef’s tools. The water pressure in the master bathroom was amazing. (Never showered in the guest bath but I assume it also rocked!). Couches were very comfy for lounging and reading. Overall, it felt like the owners have a lot of pride in ownership and had very carefully considered their guests’ comfort. It did not feel like a rental — it felt like we were staying in someone’s home. We would totally return!

Unbeatable location

The best thing about this place is the fact that it's on the trolley line to the main gondola/village. Parking was a little tight, but doable. My main issue was with the cleanliness (random stains on towels, dust that children love to find, etc.). I also didn't read beforehand that they didn't always wash the blankets and throw pillows. I can't imagine that it's that much more effort to get a duvet and wash it as you would the sheets as well as get rid of extraneous pillows (and pointless furniture) to make the place more spacious and efficient. To each their own.

Great spot.

We enjoyed this property, it was very clean and smelled clean when we walked in. Just enough space for our family of 4. Having two bathrooms was great. Close to restaurants & close to the mountain lifts. We would stay again.

Peaceful, comfortable stay

We loved our stay during the workweek! Two of us felt very comfortable and at home in this space, the wifi was strong and consistent enough for two of us to be on video calls simultaneously, and we loved how clean and quiet it was. I reached out to property management a few times with questions and they were very helpful, kind, and responsive. Overall a wonderful stay in a great location that made getting around Mammoth very easy. We would absolutely stay here again!
