This casita is amazing! Plenty of room, beautifully decorated, comfy beds with quality linens, quiet and peaceful, a cute private courtyard perfect for morning coffee drinking, and amazing views. This is our go to rental now whenever we will be visiting Tucson.
week in what felt like private home only thing lacking was a comfortable place in sit outside and not bright enough bulbs in bedside tables (hard to read while in bed). kitchen well equipped with many items present that we did not need to purchase
We went to Tucson for several days of wedding festivities and stayed at the Flecha Caida estates! It was a gorgeous casita! We had a private entrance to the home which opened into a lovely kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom was cozy and the beds were sooo comfortable. We were able to prepare a couple meals - both of which we enjoyed on the patio which boasts a stunning view of the Catalina mountains! It was also nice to be able to do a load of laundry before we left and my husband was able to work on Friday. We will definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed the outside patio for breakfast and dinner although there arent any mountain views fromth patio it still is quite charming and pleasant. The inside is small but well equipped from spices to coffee. The decor is lovely a lovely walk in shower and luxurious bed linens. Highly recommend for 10 year olds a d up too small for toddlers. We enjoyed our stsy. Great breakfast pasteries from Le Buzz snd Whole foods close by.couples and 1 or 2 children
This was a disappointing experience. The unit description is technically accurate, but with that gorgeous house photo, misleading. This is a small, low ceiling, ratherr dark Mother in law apartment. The host was very pleasant. We chose to eat the cost of the two weeks reserved and stayed in a different place rather than stay in this one.
Great location in the Catalina foothills. Clean and quiet. A wonderful private space even though itâs attached to the main house. Everything was top notch from the appliances to the bedding. Gorgeous tennis/pickleball court! Would love to rent again.
Beautiful guest house--we really enjoyed our stay here! House is very welll stocked with all the essentials--kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Very nice area of Tucson with easy access to Sabino Canyon, Saguaro Natl Park and many restaurants. Colin is easy to communicate with and very responisve. Highly recommend this rental if you are headed to Tucson!
Property was exactly as listed, and maybe better. Quaint European feel, well equipped, easy access to places. If we return to Tucson this is where we will stay.
The rental is an attached apartment to the main structure. It has a private patio and all the amenities of a nicely furnished apartment. I came for a trade show and stayed 8 days at this property. Two employees stayed with me for parts of my visit. A possible drawback for some would be the remoteness of the location from downtown venues, but I very much enjoyed listening to the coyotes howling at night!
loved this place! well appointed with everything you would need for a weeks stay. coffee makers, ample towels ( loved the laundry room). love the decor inside. felt like we were in Italy with the outdoor space. highly recommend. great location. part of a beautiful casa!
We all loved everything about the property: location, well-appointed, very clean, beautiful decor, easy communication with our host, incredible variety of cactus,..in a word: OUTSTANDING! Three adults who traveled through 12 countries together 52 years ago and we never stayed in a nicer place together. Will not disappoint.
My husband and I were visiting Tucson to watch our son play some college baseball. We were looking for a place with character away from the baseball fields. This casita fit the bill and more! The attention to detail is apparent throughout the rental. Whoever designed the space really nailed both the charm and functionality! Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful courtyard with multiple seating areas proved to be the best spots for coffee in the morning and wine at night. We never had to reach out to Colin for anything, but he supplied his number and a backup if needed. Loved the special welcome note and snacks when we arrived! Will be back next year if the team decides to return to Tucson!
Excellent accommodations & neighborhood. Colin was super; helpful, welcoming, and flexible. The casita & area were wonderful & we had the best stay imaginable!
The property was very nice but the front furniture upholstery needs cleaning. Not as much kitchen supplies as I expected, but not awful.
Big problem was noise. Whoever was upstairs from the unit made thumping and crashing noises all night from 11:30pm until 4-4:30 am every night we were there. One night it sounded like a large piece of furniture was scraped along the floor. As a result, very poor sleep every night.
This lovely Casita was perfect for our visit to Tucson. It is well appointed, with upscale appliances and indulgent amenities. The decor is thoughtful and tasteful with romantic but contemporary design. We especially enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the courtyard and views over Tucson from the beautifully landscaped property. I hesitate to rave too much, lest this hidden gem become too popular and reserving a return visit more difficult!
My friends and I stayed six days at this lovely guest apartment. It was elegantly decorated and cosy. Colin was responsive to our various requests. Our only complaint is that the stove needed repair as we planned to cook several meals and it was down to one burner. Other than that issue, the casita is a private, well-appointed getaway in a great location. Highly recommended!
