We came in for a family event and upon arriving , I noticed that the grass was dead and the porch was COVERED in spider webs and spiders just hanging around. We walk in and there were spider webs in the dining rooms with a spider in the corner. There was dust and hair on the floor in the hallways, in and on the bed. There was trash in the cabinets under the mirror.. A day or so into our stay, my boyfriend sat on the floor to put on his shoes and noticed piles of under the bed. Mind you, we barely were in the house and we ate food at his mother's, so we didn't accumulate any trash. I wasn't expecting much from a stay in Stockton, but this was far from the minimum expectations
I booked this for 5 adults, as we were all in town for a family event that weekend. We assumed since there were 3 bedrooms and I had put 5 guests on the form that there would be enough room for us all. Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the bedrooms was completely bare. No bed at all. The couch was actually a small loveseat and one chair, so not even enough seating for 5 adults to gather comfortably. The manager did arrange for an air mattress to be dropped off and set up later that evening, so that situation was corrected. We did also have to ask for towels and toilet paper to be dropped off, as there were exactly 2 towels in the entire home and each bathroom had only one (not full) roll of toilet paper. So we did get exactly 3 more towels and 2 rolls of extra toilet paper. There was hair found on a comforter so we felt as though we should wash before sleeping in them as well. We were all pretty underwhelmed at the lack of necessity items such as paper towels and wash cloths or even trash bags... and of course not having a bed, though that was fixed with an air mattress at 10pm the first evening. We weren't looking for a glamorous place to stay, but were a little disappointed in what was lacking here. The space itself was large and the area felt very safe and clean. Again, communication with the manager was prompt so that was helpful and she did end up getting us the bare minimum that we needed to stay.
