no free pizza and drinks in the fridge like the picture in the ad states so we ended up with the worst Taco Bell food weâve ever had. The place was filthy. The upstairs door frames literally coated with a 1/4 inch dust. I cleaned out a trash bag full of expired spices, sauces and medicine from the kitchen and bathroom cupboards. I found a McDonaldâs chicken sandwich in a wrapper on top of the fridge. I had to wash the rugs because they were dirty. Fish tank was loud and then broke with this awful noise sounding sometime during one of the days we were gone. The alarm system went off almost every morning between 845 and 9am. The dishwasher is literally falling apart inside, only works on the heavy cycle but only cleans for about 5 minutes and one day started smoking. No mop to clean the floor. Only a swiffer. For 5 guests they left us 3 washcloths and no hand towels. The cleaning lady brought us some hand towels and kitchen rags since there was only 1 kitchen towel. Internet very slow so make sure to get your door lock code before you arrive or use your car Internet to get it. No tv service, just the free channels, if the Internet is working. There is an Xbox but it is so outdated, my son tried doing the updates for the 5 days we were there and it never finished. I moved the bedside table in the master bedroom away from the bed. The bed is so low that if you roll over, you hit your head on the corner of the table. Very loud in the room. More but out of space.
We used this home to stay during SEMA convention show. Chose this home as we wanted to be away from the high traffic strip. House is a little outdated but Overall it was a good experience.
Nice place, but could make some changes.
Houses that get rented out almost always have a room for the owners to keep their belongings away from guests, perfectly understandable. Usually its a utility closet or the garage or something along those lines. This house has both the garage AND the master bedroom closet off limits. I guess if you don't have any clothes that require you to hang things up it isn't an issue, but for the rest of you this could present an issue. Then there's the bunk bed next to a queen size bed in the master bedroom. This space could easily hold a wardrobe to have someplace for clothes. Or it would fit equally well on the other side of the bed. The room itself was plenty big enough. They did make most of the back yard into mini golf. Kudos for thinking outside the box and not just having sand and rocks be your landscape like every other house in the desert. The kitchen island is way too close to the fridge and the dishwasher. You have to stand to either side of the dishwasher when it's open. Same thing with the fridge, you can't open it while standing directly in front. You have to side step to allow it room to open. again there is room to make that happen, they chose not to for some reason. Overall it's a nice sized property with plenty of space and can accommodate many people, just don't expect a 5 star experience
