Great breakfast and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location close to Sterling Forest State Park and the associated trails made hiking and running each morning enjoyable. Eva is a great host and the breakfast was very tastey and filling. Look for the map of Sterling Forest State Park at the NYS OPRHP website.

Incredibly sweet host. So caring and you can tell she genuinely loves having guests. Such a delicious breakfast each morning and excellent communication. House was immaculate and in prime location for attractions like the famous Bellvale creamery, Warwick drive in, and adorable fall activities which were recommended by our host. 10/10 experience and looking forward to returning:)

Wonderful place with a wonderful owner

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Verde in Greenwood Lake. The Villa was beautiful and the owner Eva was so accommodating and a gourmet chef to boot! We took a boat ride on the lake, ate at Cove Castle, had the best ice cream at Bellvale Creamery and spent some time visiting Pacem in Terra, a must see. Highly recommend.

Charming Host.

Eva was an absolutely fabulous host! Her home is lovely and sleeping quarters were very comfortable. Every morning we were treated to an extremely generous breakfast - - fresh and beautifully presented. Tucked away in a rural area and quiet, but not far off from main highways.

Lovely place to stay!

We spent 2 nights at Villa Verde with Eva and enjoyed our time very much! Clean, comfortable room, spotless bathroom, all amenities provided. Eva is an AMAZING cook and out breakfast our first morning - I should have taken pictures - beautiful and delicious! We had to hit the road our second morning and she very kindly accommodated us by making us “breakfast to go” so we could eat in the car. If you are coming to ski, enjoy the lake, or visit the RenFest - do yourself a favor and stay here!

Outstanding

My wife and I spent one night in Villa Verde. The hostess, Eva, was gracious and kind. She obviously puts a lot of thought into what she does. The accommodations were comfortable and restful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Eva even tried to poach eggs for us. We got to talk to her about her life for a little bit and would love to visit again. She is a true gem.

Phenomenal experience

The property blends modern-Euro sleekness with carefully selected antiques in an airy, spacious setting that is kept spotlessly clean. The host has a similarly winning mix--attentive, but also carefully aware of guests' privacy; cooks delicious, plentiful breakfasts and provides great suggestions for places to get your other meals. I stayed in the luxuriant basement room/suite and plan to do so again--in fact, we're thinking of excuses to be in that area again just so we can stay at Villa Verde B&B.

Eva is a wonderful host, her house and property are gorgeous, and probably the most unexpected aspect of the stay was her unbelievable culinary skills, her breakfasts were on a completely other level entirely. What a wonderful stay, we truly enjoyed!

Eva is an amazing host, the house was very comfortable, clean and nice. She wen over and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We got there very late at night and brought and extra friend with, she waited up for us and gave us the best rooms with extra space and sleeping options. The food was amazing!!! Internacional breakfast! Delicious, made in the moment and she took an extra step asking us in advance what our preference where, Eva is an amazing cook and host. We can wait to make another trip to her home. Ahh can’t forget about Bruno, her adorable and sweet dálmata dog that make my 10 year old son extremely happy. I want to add that my son Leo felt like a king with the preparation of the meal and service. Bathrooms are so clean and beautiful. The house in general is very clean spacious and very welcoming as is Eva.

Our stay at this gorgeous home was beyond anything we could have imagined. Eva, our host was so kind and accommodating. She cooked gourmet breakfasts that were both delicious and creative!!! Her home is immaculate, beautifully decorated and welcoming. We could not have asked for more. Best weekend get away we have ever had. There is so much to see and in this beautiful town of Monroe NY. And the surrounding areas. We visited the Renaissance Fair. That was an amazing day and only a short drive away. The fall foliage was so beautiful. And driving the mountain roads was breathtaking. I strongly recommended staying at Eva’s Bed and Breakfast. It’s everything you want and more for a romantic getaway, a family reunion or just to get away and enjoy the scenic beauty this B&B has to offer. You will not be disappointed.
