A cozy cabin with modern amenities including new furnishings, appliances, internet, wifi, and television. Perfect for a couples retreat or comfortably working away from home with stunning Lake Views. Enjoy open plan living and dining rooms with connected full kitchen; private queen bedroom; full office and a bath with walk-in shower. A large wrap-around deck with gas grill and lots of seating overlooks the lake. Parking for two vehicles. Five minutes from the Village of Greenwood Lake, 15 minutes from the Village of Warwick, and surrounded by recreation, food, shops, and more. On the NY/NJ bus line using the 196/197 NJTransit bus. Fantastic mini getaway!

Lucas was a fantastic host and the place was true to the photos. Such a nice little getaway in a perfect location. The amenities were also fantastic!

Greenwood lake

Property was fine, location was great. We visited with friends and family at the lake, Warwick and West Milford. Discovered a new restaurant D’Boathaus on the lake in NJ delicious and outside dining.

Charming and Cozy

My husband and I loved our stay! It was a great location and so cozy! It quickly felt like home and our 2 small dogs snuggled right in. The owners provided great amenities and so much information in their welcome binder. We will be back :)

Short visit for Orange County Irish festivities

Knowing the community, having lived in the area for 25 years, it was nice being back “home”. The cabin is nice, well equipped with everything you need for a long weekend! The snow was the icing on the top!

Relax and breathe

I would definitely stay at this cabin again. The furnishings are comfortable. The hosts have a great eye to detail. It’s really adorable and very clean. That’s important to me. Sitting on that porch was pretty close to heaven.I will be back.

Canadian wildfires and Greenwood Lake

The house was lovely. Due to the smoke we were unable to use the beautiful deck and could barely see the lake but we had a wonderful time anyway. The local restaurants were excellent. It was a nostalgic trip for both of us.

The cabin was clean, beautifully presented, and well stocked. The owners took good care of answering our only question quickly and by dropping off more supplies only minutes later. The light is beautiful with the wall of windows. Thank you!

Amazing cabin by the lake!

We loved our stay in this cozy, cute, clean cabin! There are so many fun things to do nearby - the lake, hikes, restaurants, wineries, etc. The house is stocked with so many things you might need (cooking supplies, bug spray, games, Fire stick). We brought our dog who had a blast swimming and running around in local parks… one warning is that the deck of the house is not enclosed, if you plan on bringing a dog I suggest a long leash so they can walk around without you having to worry. Overall amazing getaway! Thank you so much!

Warm and cozy nook

My husband and I loved this stay! I would recommend this cabin for couples with or without a small/medium house-trained dog. The cabin was so warm and welcoming. The decor was superb, and the attention to detail was A++. The only disappointment was that I was not aware the cabin sat above and two-lane Highway. I thought the traffic would be noisy, but you cannot hear it in the bedroom at night—so that was fine. The view is still beautiful even though the cabin isn’t right on the lake. The owners definitely put time and attention into their property, and it was very appreciated! Thanks so much for an awesome stay and your beautiful Lakeview Cabin!

Ideal Location

We had a comfortable stay at this charming cabin. The location was perfect for us to visit family and friends in the area as well as our favorite apple orchards. We also appreciated the owners allowing our dog to be with us and for the special touches for our pet.

It's the Small Things

My husband and I loved our 5-day stay at this peaceful cabin along Greenwood Lake. The owners have taken great care to add little touches to make the cabin feel like home. From the customized coasters, to the thoughtful information binder, to the tea collection and coffee syrups, it's clear the owners really care about their property and giving guests the best experience. The furnishings were comfy and anything we needed to cook with was already there. Although we didn't bring our dogs along on this trip, having stayed in a few other "dog-friendly" rentals, this was one of the most welcoming canine setups I've seen, with couch covers and dog bowls waiting for you, and even a dog bed, as well as instructions on areas to walk your dog and info on dog-friendly excursions. The property sits on a main road, so there is some traffic noise from the street below on the deck and in the living room. However, we found the noise wasn't audible from the bedroom and the convenience of being on a main road far outweighed listening to the traffic. I would definitely recommend this property, and we'll be back soon!

My wife Karen and I moved to Greenwood Lake in November, 2021 to be close to our son in Manhattan and nephew in Pine Island. We are familiar with the Warwick Valley from frequent visits and are happy to share our experiences with you. We are originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio. where we lived for 25 years. It was a diverse, open and socially-progressive community of artists, educators and creators and we looked for the same when we made the decision to move to New York.

I am an architect who designed many buildings in Yellow Springs and the southwest Ohio region, including a loft that we hosted as an Airbnb. I am continuing my architectural practice in Ohio but am also licensed in New York and look forward to projects here.

Karen was the Executive Director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce for 15 years and has been working at the Warwick Valley Chamber for over 6 months. She is also the Market Manager for the Lakeside Farmers Market in Greenwood Lake at the beautiful Thomas A Morahan Waterfront Park, held every Saturday from mid-June to the end of October from 9 am until noon.

We like places that are more minimalist but feature all the amenities we need. We've designed the Cabin to match what we look for when we travel. We often travel with our pup so wanted our guests to be able to do the same. We're a mile away and available to assist our guests.

We know you'll be as excited as us by all Greenwood Lake and the Warwick Valley has to offer. The history is rich, the beauty is astounding, and the experiences are extensive. Enjoy your stay with us at the cabin.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood with direct lake views. Private lake and beach access and a canoe/boat launch is just across the street from the cabin and included in your stay. The sand beach is private and allows dogs. For a larger beach experience but without dogs allowed, we have passes for our guests to access the beautiful beach at Thomas P. Morahan Park in Greenwood Lake. The Appalachian Trail runs along the top of the mountain behind the cabin with several trailheads just minutes from the cabin.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Only a 75 min drive from NYC. Or a convenient ride on the 196/197 bus from Port Authority to the stop right in front of the property.

Once you are here, it is only a five minute drive to the Village of Greenwood Lake and a 15 minute drive to the Village of Warwick. Centrally located close to myriad hiking opportunities, bike trails, skiing, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and shopping. The Hudson Valley is 45 minutes away.
