Tolles Haus mit super Blick zum Meer . FĂŒr alles ist gesorgt. Wir waren mit der Familie 6 Personen fĂŒr 8 Tage und haben uns wie zu Hause gefĂŒhlt. Kommen gerne wieder
Best Cape house!!! Fully stocked home including: pots/pans, Tupperware, spices, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, paddle boards, bicycles, canoe, puzzles, games⊠and so much more! Pictures are an exact match to the house. See you next year, Windmill!
Wow!! This home is spectacular!! From the amazing views from every room to every and any water toy you can imagine. Iâve stayed in many vacations rentals, but this house was without the absolute BEST house Iâve stayed at. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything youâd need, Honestly, I canât say anything bad about this awesome home, and thatâs the truth!! Deborah was FABULOUS; she made herself available 24/7, which says a lot!! I was the person who booked this home for a sistersâ trip. I along with my two sisters and my two cousins from California thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. I was nervous because you just never know about renting a place online, but this house did not disappoint!! I genuinely hope to return to Hyannis, and I wouldnât stay anywhere but at this amazing house!!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Windmill!! The home is beautifully decorated and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully prepared and Deb was incredibly welcoming and responsive. The location is perfect and that view...spectacular. We can't wait to come back!!
Had an amazing stayâsuch an amazing location and beautiful property! Deborah was also extremely responsive the entire stay, quickly answering any questions that I had and giving great recommendations of good restaurants/things to do in the area!
The beautiful pictures and description of this place does not do it justice. When pulling up to the house, the view of the house was an exciting introduction. Then as you make your way up the path, turn to look across the sound, you realize either way you look you have arrived at the perfect place. Canât say enough good things about the house inside and out. Made our trip up to the Cape one to remember for a lifetime. Deb was also a pleasure to communicate with, helping with any questions and also making some great recommendations for fun and dining.
This place is absolutely one of the best VRBO's we have ever stayed at, Cape Cod is beautiful and the people are so friendly. Deb the owner we an awesome communicator and we cannot thank her enough. This is a 5 start place!!
We rented this expensive property based on its location and photos. We were duped. Our check in time was 4:00 pm on Sunday. We had travelled from far away to check in 10 minutes early, desiring simply to unload our things, take a shower, and relax. INSTEAD, WE ENTERED THE HOUSE TO FIND IT FILTHY--GARBAGE ON THE FLOOR, BINS OVERFLOWING, SHEETS AND TOWELS ON THE FLOOR AND UNMADE BEDS. We exited and called the owner. After about 30 to 40 minutes of back and forth, the owner had a cleaning crew come to the property and told us to "go out to a nice restaurant and come back in several hours." She offered only to cover the cost of a dinner, not to reduce the cost of our stay by a night. If we had suddenly, without notice, told her we were staying an extra few hours on our check out day she would have charged us an extra night. When we were able to get back in, it was pitch black and we couldn't find "the path" she recommended to use. The house was warm and we had to find the directions for the room a/c units because she couldn't describe how to operate them. The house itself in very dim, there are few lights and they are insufficient. My wife showered in the dim master bath shower. It was only when she looked at it in the light of day that she saw a lot of "black grungy filth" on the shower head, door, and frame. She had to clean the shower for our stay. Further, we had to put out the garbage on our first night even though the cleaners had just been there.
Great stay, great views, great location
Such a memorable vacation for the kids, they were so excited about the windmill. House is fully stocked, which is so helpful
This unique property has one of the most beautiful views of an inlet, marsh and ocean combo that I have seen in Cape Cod. The photos in the listing do not do this view justice-you have to see it yourself. All will enjoy exploring this area from the neighborhood park.
The house is wonderful for adults and children with two living areas, large kitchen with everything you could want, large master with bath and itâs own deck, nice second bedroom, and a third room on the top floor with three beds- great for kids. The âwindmillâ creaks when breezy in that bedroom, but all the pros of this house more than make up for it.
There are many bikes and beach items in the garage which were nice to have even though we didnât use them. Hyannis has plenty of restaurants and activities, so you wonât be bored, and its central location is great to see the rest of the cape.
In addition to all this, the owner is very responsive. You wonât regret using this VRBO rental!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Windmill. The house is exactly as described, very clean, well stocked, and in a great location. We loved it so much that we already booked a week for next summer! Thank you, Deborah for being a great host!
We had the most amazing time at this beautiful property! The views were absolutely breathtaking and even better than the pictures. The house itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
The attention to detail was evident throughout the home, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host.
The location was perfectâoffer peace and tranquility, and close enough to water. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation.
We canât recommend this place enough. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!
This house was everything and more that I could have imagined. The location was breathtaking and peaceful .
The house had everything you could need to feel like you were home and leaving was hard . So grateful the home owner shares this amazing home . Thank you !
Amazing vacation home made for relaxation and fun! Every room had incredible views of the water! Abundance of toys for various activities and convenient location made it for an easy stay where you get the most of your holiday time. Your vacation here is bound to give you great memories and leave you recharged. We most definitely be back!
We stayed over Thanksgiving week, wanting to avoid crowds but staying close enough to drive to sites on the Cape. The house is even better than the photos; short walk to park with beach was beautiful with fall colors, birds, and sunsets. We traveled with 2 young adults, 3 teens, and 2 parents; enough sofas to have own quiet time/snuggle, heaters worked well, 3 bathrooms/showers were good to have, top bedroom slightly creaky when wind blew windmill arms. Kitchen well-stocked to cook most meals including Thanksgiving turkey and ham. Neighbors pretty friendly. Owner was very organized, responsive from reserving 2months in advance to our last day; truly great experience among the houses we have rented. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
My parents, brother and his family, and I stayed here for a few days. We were immediately blown away by the views, which were front and center from every room. Lots of cozy chairs and couches and two large decks. I loved that there were two living rooms, which allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was nicely updated and included just about everything you could need. We didn't even mind staying in for a day because of the rain because it was so beautiful and homey there.
Outstanding!!!!! The house is amazing. Itâs very well equipped from bikes to condiments. The breathtaking views are the highlight. A true get away. We stayed there for my daughters wedding and the picâs from the house were spectacular. The host Deb couldnât be more accommodating and easy to reach.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Windmill house!
What a cool, postcard property with a stunning water view from every room! Great communication from owner. The house was incredibly well-stocked with everything you would need for a Cape beach vacation. We were there for my son's wedding so no cooking or entertaining for me...but every piece of kitchen equipment was there. Lots of beach toys, bikes, coolers, oh my! I can't think of anything that was lacking. Easy check in and check out, A/C worked great! Clearly this is a very thoughtful and experienced VRBO owner.
We loved our stay at this very unique property. The private beach access was a plus and property was well equipped with bikes, paddle boards, and canoes for use. Kitchen was well stocked and property was very clean. Thank you for the great stay!
This house has views to die for! Located in one of the most peaceful neighborhoods Iâve been in on Cape Cod, house is big, well appointed and plenty of space for everyone. Very quiet neighborhood, very beautiful properties all around. Easy three minute drive to Craigville Beach. And downtown Hyannis 10 minute drive. The only complaint we have, which is not really a complaint is that we were not able to use any of the kayaks or paddleboardâs as we had no way to transport them to the water area around the corner, perhaps something the owners could remedy. They were just way too large to put in the back of anybodyâs car and too big to try to haul down by hand. Perhaps the property owners could store them on the racks at the little beach so theyâre easier for renters to access, there were several other boats and kayaks that were stationed down there and chained by other properties, Overall a very lovely house.
This was our second stay at the windmill house and it did not disappoint. The houseâs location is ideal and probably the best in the neighborhood in terms of views. Access to the beach is perfect for a wide range of activities and perfect for kids as the water is shallow and calm. A rare find on the cape in terms of water access.
The house is stocked with something for everyone (games, water activity) and our 3 yr old was occupied and had so much fun during our 1 week stay. Deb is a great host and communication was prompt and clear. Highly recommend
